[Music] mifa the princess of the zoraz seems to be more of a caring and supportive friend than she seems a powerful warrior and champion of hyrule but of course looks can be very deceiving in hyrule warrior's age of calamity mifa brings her powerful light skill tried into battle alongside her mastery of the water itself to fight with a blazingly fast and almost balletic fighting style that is both extremely powerful as well as a blast to control let's dive into everything that mifa can do mifa's irregular attack string consists of seven attacks she will slash to the left to the right make a bigger jumping slash from the left mid-air spin and slash twist and side helicopter attack forwards spin around her trident while doing a sweeping kick and then finish by grabbing her trident and flip attack forwards with one final smash besides looking very cool do note how mifa is actually in the air while attacking for many parts of this which is a bit of a clue to how she works in general i'll get more into that later next up let's cover her dash attacks and for her regular dash attack she will spin and splash attack forwards like other regular dash attacks this will bring her to a stop from which you can then transition into her regular attack string for her strong dash attack mifo will jump up and splash down into the ground and despite her disappearing for a moment she is still dashing and she doesn't lose her original momentum like other strong dash attacks you can use this to pick up kos on the go or just to hit crowds for some special attack charge on the go for her regular aerial attacks mifa will do the typical string of three attacks but do note that if you continue pressing the attack button she will extend the final hit for a bit as well as go a little bit further for her strong ariel she will quickly dash diagonally back down to the ground creating a water fountain that interacts with her unique action i'll explain exactly what this is later on but for right now let's finish off this section by looking at her chica slate runes starting out with her stasis rune she will time lock the enemies just in front of her before entering an attack stance and if you hit the strong attack button mifa will then dash forwards through her enemies making a water fountain wherever she ends up note that hitting your enemies with this dash attack will end the time lock on them and so you will probably want to dodge cancel out of this as you can get a lot of damage done to things like weak point gauges by doing many of her other attacks jumping over to her cryoness rune mifo will summon an ice block just in front of her and that's all there is to this one nothing more and nothing less honestly it's all you need for her magnesis rune mifa will hold her magnet in the air and grab any available weapons that she can making a spinning attack with them just in front of her before finishing with a small blast like with other magnesis runes if you use this and grab nothing the rune will simply fail however your rune cooldown will not be started last up for her remote bomb rune mifa will throw a bomb into the air before an entire shower of bombs begins to come down in a wide area around where she threw the first one this damage lingers around for a bit afterwards so it can also be used to break down weak points in combination with her own attacks with all of her basic moves out of the way let's cover her unique action and then jump over to her strong attacks next as far as unique actions go mifa has a somewhat bizarre one that sets her playstyle far apart from others in the game and turns her into the only aerial attack specialist here who isn't also a rito in a nutshell several of mifa's attacks will create these various types of lingering fountain-like water springs on the field which last for about 20 seconds before going away while they are out and while they're kind of in the middle of your field of vision pressing the unique action button will cause mifa to instantly teleport to them and splash out of the water while mid-air from this you can either start any of her aerial attacks or just start riding the wind something else that you can do after teleporting to your water spring is to continue mashing the unique action button which will have mifa re-teleport and splash more and more out until she eventually builds this up to a big final whirlwind one that even forces out enemy weak points if it manages to hit them while you can add in a lot of damage and mobility through using this water transport method i have to admit that the system that the game uses to either teleport you to a new one or instead do the default unique action animation of making a new one isn't particularly clear the key thing i've found is just to make sure that the spring is pretty much centered in your screen and mipho will usually teleport right to it enabling you to do all the other functions that this unique action gives her before moving on though this isn't really part of her unique action i do want to note another unique thing about mifa's playstyle here and that is that any of her water fountains as well as her special attack offer healing to any allies that are around her as well as herself in the case of her special attack healing in this game is a far more limited resource compared to other warriors games and although her healing feature doesn't always come into play there are definitely moments where bringing mifo along as a secondary character was a real life saver for me all you need to do is simply set up your injured warrior to follow her around and in no time flat just by using her moveset normally and throwing in a few special attacks your other characters will be up and running again in no time well with these unique mechanics in mind let's jump over to her strong attacks now mifa's first strong attack she will simply summon up a fountain a distance in front of her or right next to any enemies that are in between its furthest range and herself this is less of an attack and more of a functional way for mifa to get around the fact that her unique action button is both the button that can summon her water portal and also teleport to a new one while it's nice to have a button that will only ever reliably summon a portal and not also teleport her to it i can't help but think that using up one of her strong attack slots just for this is a little bit of a waste battles in this game are so quick that accidentally replacing a fountain when i don't want to is usually not really a big problem and i do just wish that something else could have gone here instead next up for her second strong attack mifo will do a quick spinning attack placing a fountain at the end of where she attacks this is a nice quick little damage dealer but all in all is not that special of an inclusion for mifa's third strong attack she will summon up a ball of water and do a spinning thrust with it for a short while before smacking it away and creating another warp fountain like the previous attack this one hits in a line and is far more effective on larger enemies compared to groups of regular mobs for her fourth strong attack mifo will swing her trident around and bring out a moving set of water blobs that carries enemies away while also causing consistent damage before these blobs erupt at the end this group of water balls is your fountain which is excellent because it means you will definitely be hitting who you want to be hitting if you choose to teleport to it on top of that this attack can really do some good damage to weak point gauges as well next up for her fifth strong attack mifo will do a quick series of flipping attacks before plunging her trident into the ground summoning up a large whirlpool in front of her like with her previous attack the large whirlpool is the fountain that mifa whoops to putting her exactly where you want to be every time last up for her sixth and final strong attack mifa will do a balletic series of slashes before finishing by creating a humongous standing whirlpool and also forcing out weak point gauges with all of mifa's strong attacks covered let's finally move over to her weapons and build recommendation next mifa has three possible weapons and going from the weakest to strongest they are the traveler spear zoro spear and light scale trident i'll put a chart up on screen right now to show off their hidden level 25 and 30 seals but when it comes to my weapon build recommendation today i'm going to be focusing on her light scale trident seeing as the trident already comes with two square shaped seals in order to get a max damage bonus of plus 20 out of further seals we will need to get either another two squares and another two of a matching different shape or four of a matching separate shape one easy build would be to just slap on two more attack seals on it and then two others of other shapes either two star-shaped strong attack damage seals or two star-shaped mid-air damage seals personally when i play mifa i like to try to stay airborne for as long as possible so my preferred build is to go full mid-air damage seals with her and see how efficient i can make them but again this probably isn't a totally ideal build probably going with two attack speed and two star-shaped is better in the long run and there we have mifa let's put everything together and see where the princess of the zora ends up when fully examining everything that mifa can do i can't help but say that this princess of the zoras is one hell of a warrior at the start of my playthrough of age of calamity i remember originally feeling that she was extremely powerful with a blazing fast powerful playstyle that was kind of like an apology for how clunky and actually glitchy ruto was in the last hyrule warriors game however as i got further and further my time with mifa drifted off as i discovered the other very powerful fighters to be had going back now to examine her in detail again does reveal a few problems in her play style but i can say without a doubt that mifa is very very powerful while probably not one of the best mifa can definitely hang with the other great play styles in the game so what are your thoughts on mifa be sure to let me know in the comments below and also if there was anything big that i missed go ahead and drop that down below as well i'll be making a pinned comment on this video for anything big that i might have forgotten as always thank you so much for watching everybody and i hope to see you next time i'd like to give a special thank you to my top patrons dw7 still rules henry gutierrez ryan poe and true tactician as well as to all my other patrons thank you all very much
