Abandoned 1950's Drug Store - Medicine Still Shelved! (Ghost Town)

[Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] so today it is an absolutely freezing cold day I'm shaking the camera I may be shaking a little bit in this video not as stable as usual because it's currently zero degrees outside and we're in a complete and absolute ghost town stuck in the 1950s we're starting today in an old drug store we're gonna get to the bottom where all the drugs and medicine is where it's all left behind but right now we're on the upstairs of where the people actually slept that on this business is also a garage too this building that still has cars in it so we have a little bit of everything in this video I hope you guys enjoy if you do leave a thumbs up subscribe if you're new and let's get exploring [Music] so so far you can tell this is a very old house very old building with some old school stuff left behind it's a hit overall over here got some weird noises going on what else very creepy some old briefcases left behind got it all - coal-fired furnace put some coal left behind yeah sexy world I tell you can tell the age of this house it's because it's the only way to get into the back door just closed this house is super weird [Music] even the bathroom has anything left in it some stuff in the Cubs shampoo and Clinique products on the wall it's like this stuff this rag the game fallout just everything left behind from the 60s and 50s so we saw some kids rooms we saw the kitchen and now it looks like we're going to probably the main bedroom of the person who owned the house got some pianos and this actually looks like a secondary little girls room with the toys all over so weird seeing some of this stuff like all the kids books left behind including just jackets still hanging up trophies all these memories left behind but there's nobody to take care of this stuff now it says laundromat on that machine I do not know how old that is it's probably a dryer of some sort but it's clear that this family actually no it's probably just wet the clothes because the family actually has dry pens hung up on the upstairs to dry [Music] cut a whole lot of storage down here the floor of this place is an absolute mess so I don't really have any room to fill in that steadily down here here's our first view off the drugstore completely stocked up for this old medicine if you want to take a look at any of this stuff feel free to pause the video and check it out now now we're heading into the main area of the drugstore which is kind of just filled with bunch of random stuff kind of looks like it was a mix of a drugstore and a general store back in the day tricycles bicycles I hope I don't move too fast for anyone because there are a lot of stuff in a lot of stuff inside this place and honestly all of it can use my attention to film but some things might be overlooked this part of the building is actually quite kind of destroyed the floor kind dips down a little bit some I really don't want to fall through anything hopefully we can get a good look at what's over here just by sitting this one spot to get an idea of our time was like back then everything about this place is so cool just like the text on all the merchandise here just this brings you back to a completely different era and this is a very unique place there's even some storage up above on these suburbs that you just need a ladder to get to it's crazy to look at this stuff because you know growing up in the 21st century at least for myself if you want something go to 7-eleven everything is the same layout but it's it's it's crazy because obviously I know about little mom-and-pop stores you know the 50s or 60s through films and stories so to see something like this it's like I never seen a person it's like you only see it in the movies so when you see in the person it's just like it's like you've walked into a completely different era it's absolutely ridiculous we have all these new old newspapers probably from the time perhaps the last day this place was opened I'm not gonna get too close because they're local newspapers and I do not want a place like this getting into the hands of vandals but it's so crazy because that was like the last day this all this was open it's like after that complete apocalypse nothing was ever the same now behind the store when we came in earlier we saw an old car and it looks like a Lincoln a real nice vintage car come down below now you know I think it's a Lincoln or a Buick completely collapse little waste of a nice car all right guys it's gonna do it for today's video I didn't get to film an outro because shortly after we were outside checking out that car a police officer rolled up on us through the side street sauce asked us what we were doing said we were just taking pictures of the old building he said okay just finish up and get out of here so we obliged anyway that Explorer was definitely one of my absolute favorites that I've done in a very long time my whole goal of exploring and the reason why I go to these abandonments is just from a historical standpoint to go into a building to walk into a facility and it's literally literally like you're stepping back in time it's because everything is just from the past and left as is and that's exactly what I love about this stuff anyway I want to thank everybody for their continuous support on my explorers and follow me on my social media and everything that I'm doing if you guys did enjoy the video give a thumbs up that lets me know right away who enjoyed it opposed to who didn't and subscribe if you want to see more videos anyway I'm gonna head out got more videos to film and I'll see you guys in the next one peace out [Music] you [Music] you you
