A NORMAL DAY IN SPLATOON 2

okay all right weapons menu let's see what we got here that does not sound like oh dude what [Applause] hello everybody and welcome back if you haven't already met i'd like to introduce you to a friend of mine a friend of mine who goes by the name andy now between you and i andy's got a secret you see andy isn't like the rest of us he doesn't play games the normal way he likes to do things a little different and today andy wants to play splatoon 2. [Music] before we continue i should mention that videos like this tend to get taken down for some strange reason so if you want to see these videos before they disappear make sure you subscribe so you don't miss anything now since splatoon 2 is primarily an online game we'll have to use local play and offline features to showcase these mods because we don't want to bring our chaos into real players lobbies but don't worry this will not make things any less weird uh suction bomb whoa oh that's different whoa okay that caught me off guard that explosion is massive well the steelhead bomb is literally just a tire and a garbage bag never really was able to look at it up close like that but wow that is cool it's a shame we can't play online because i don't really want to ruin the experience for other people because i mean come on dude that's a little overpowered i've pretty much covered the entire map using just these bombs alone i mean these things are powerful what's oh that's insane wow is he okay i don't he doesn't look too good up there look at his tail his tail is fully uh it's on what is that is it the slosher wait hold on what wait a minute what why that if anybody needs directions for something i could just be like oh you want to go to the clothing store it's uh right that way it's actual size the cat on my head is actual size compared to the real judd really good attention to detail why the bucket of all things look at the way i'm holding him i have two of them oh and i still have those apparently i do like the sunset map though it's very calming despite whatever the hell is happening look at the way he bounces look at the bounce if you ever want to be really good at competitive this is definitely the way to do it although the arrows pointing in in different directions might be really confusing to your teammates one more thing i want to try before we move on i'm going to build up my special and well the judd hat i think is kind of interfering uh but you get the idea go pikachu oh it's both satisfying and disturbing watching a pokeball roll around the map with a judd sort of balancing on top of it [Music] oh man this is this is this really feels like mario kart [Music] [Applause] so before we explore these interesting custom maps i thought we should check out some of these custom weapons that i have loaded for example the spooky sploosh-o-matic i'm not too sure what's so spooky about it but i don't know explosiomatic is scary enough the galaxy blobber they almost made me want to use a blobber almost i don't i never will the luxury splatter shot looks like it's full of honey mustard but what i'm particularly interested in is the comet blaster look at this thing this thing is sick i mean it's just a blaster but it's blue oh my god what is that sound oh my god it sounds like a sewing machine that's like 10 times the normal size this is incredible it's rico harbor from super mario sunshine one of my favorite games of all time two of my favorite games of all time splatoon and mario sunshine combined this map is not very helpful i don't really know how to get to other parts of the map though um because i can't seem to ink anything didn't make it oh i made it okay uh cool this is something boy would it be weird playing turf war on here it's weirdly lonely i mean it's pretty but it's just there's there's no piantas or grouper bloopers or none of that stuff this is really cool i wish i could see the rest of it oh oh oh i can oh i can just barely make it aha here we go this is different what if i go in here huh oh that's not a real so that's not a platform you can step on it definitely is rico harbor i give that a 10 out of 10 in the category of is rico harbor oh here's a throwback sort of this kind of looks like the lobby from splatoon 1. uh some of you splatoon 1 veterans probably recognize it but it looks slightly different is this from a different thing this is weird it's like a like a bootleg walmart edition of the splatoon 1 main lobby rain what the hell is that what is this where am i right now it says somewhere that this is extracted from paint man go what the hell is paint go oh my god paintman go as a modded version a fake splatoon copy clone for android so you're telling me that i have i'm playing on the original game but i've modded the original map from the bootleg of the original game back into the original game this is i don't like this what the what that doesn't make any sense what is this matrix type what is happening right now this is so this is so bizarre i gotta get out of here oh um welcome to uh west new york uh okay something tells me that maybe that's not where i was supposed to spawn i think i'm actually outside of the map currently um but i don't exactly know how to get inside it maybe this is not right maybe it is ah that i think that's where i'm supposed to be yeah i want to be in there dude how do i get in there what did i spot out here well i mean urchin underpass there it is sorta okay right off the bat something is definitely wow they thought i wouldn't notice that huh you can't slip that by me oh my god what on earth why am i all the way up here maybe if i jump at the right angle like the starting line is over there right so what if i just go this way no i think you should drop right around here god this feels like fortnight okay hold on there i made it i mean oh my god it's so much smaller than i thought it would be don't take that out of context this is so bizarre i thought it was gonna be actual size to mario kart but it's not it's like a mini rc track wow this is really the mario kart double dash experience i really feel like i'm being taken back you know what i'm going to switch my weapon so i can make it really authentic hello yes i'd like to buy a grape ink brush and that seems right oh man this is this is this really feels like mario kart takes me back to the double dash days i'm sure this is a lot more fun uh with multiple people i'm sure just me being alone on this map as a giant inkling is not going to be the best way to experience this but that's okay and i win i win yeah i'm just gonna say it straight up that doesn't look like port mackerel this is this is so weird this one's a lot bigger this time these uh jpeg trees are making me a little nervous but this map this is a lot bigger well i really feel like i'm playing mario kart do you guys feel the mario kart experience this is really feeling very real oh i'm gonna hit the jump did i just go right through it okay it's not real so that killed my immersion can i go outside whoa i'm about to cheat i'm gonna cheat this whole race wait okay nope nevermind can't do it where's the item boxes in the other player oh okay this is cool that's not cool i shouldn't have done that oh wait i've got items yeah that'll stop him i hate that i am constantly being haunted by the sound of a helicopter somewhere i like i i don't i don't see it it's just but it's there it will always be there now that looks like a tropical getaway right there three go two one yes oh that's it i'm pretty sure i just got the world record for cheap cheap beach on splatoon 2. oh my god it's literally my worst nightmare [Music] can gross are they real i think they're real are you guys okay sorry dude this is so bizarre god it's like the plaza but it's post-apocalypse it's pretty obvious what caused that apocalypse can we go into the shops at all whoa i mean we we can this is what it looks like that's so straight oh that's a hole see i think i need to buy a gun marie are you good um i'm i am slightly concerned you look like you haven't gotten a lot of sleep yeah no that doesn't have nearly as much charm nowadays oh i just noticed my squid or my my kraken whoa that is not a squid first off okay first off no i no okay the fact the two sets of hands is what really freaks me out about this it's so bouncy and squishy why is it so squishy i don't understand no this is dumb what hold on i gotta see this there he is oh my god i really wasn't ready for the noises the bullet bill the bullet pill doesn't really work as well with this but it will it'll do what happens when he resets oh okay it just it just doesn't make a funny mario sound effect he just explodes oh now we get a really good look at it he's huge boom whoa dude are you okay whoa that's disgusting i don't like it everybody's got the freaky eye um i'd like to to buy a weapon sheldon what uh what's going on here you'd like to i don't know what it is i don't know what i'm looking at right now okay oh there we go okay bombs those are normal those are relatively wait that's not i don't think that's right the sound effect totally totally undercuts the sheer size and incredibleness of this wow dude that's so good that sound effect is so [Laughter] nobody would ever expect that that doesn't work that doesn't work at all that's that's way too weird dude i i can't keep up with these rainmakers dude it's just getting worse and worse the forbidden boy we can finally pick him up he is huge this is a really messed up image here yeah this is a lot going on here that i don't like he's a lot um heavier when you're holding him it appears uh but that's okay oh hell no well that is um not what i wanted to see today oh my god i can't look at i'm looking away i'm looking away i never noticed his little arm things you never would have seen that except for up this oh god oh oh oh sick dude get rid of that please wow and finally that graphic is actual size oh my god dude he looks so gross it's not even like like when he's small he's cute and it's not like he's just bigger and cute he's like grossly large oh that's that's not you can't be doing that what gentlemen you seem to be having a very engaging conversation over here what the hell is happening over here this is one of the most terrifying things i've ever seen in my entire life is she serious wearing those boots with that outfit oh my god there is so much wrong with [Music] this [Music] oh my god what that is that is actually happening [Music] i don't see the clams wait are you serious the
