A NORMAL DAY IN MARIO KART 8 DELUXE

hello everybody welcome to Mario Kart this is your average Mario Kart nothing new nothing weird to see here nothing strange going on with the map or the Luigi nothing weird going on here [Music] [Applause] hello everybody and welcome back I'd like to introduce you to a friend of mine a friend of mine who I call Andy now I'll let you in on something Andy's got a secret you see unlike you and I Andy doesn't like to play games normally he likes to do things a little different and today Andy wants to play Mario Kart 8 deluxe now it's very hard to get Andy's software to work on in ten dos which and I spent a lot of hours of trial and error trying to get this to work so you can imagine once I finally got it working I was pretty excited that is definitely something they put piranha plant in Smash Bros but they didn't put him in Mario Kart so we had to do it ourselves oh oh the mario kart double dash sounds are working i have a mod that makes it so you can hear all the sounds sound like mario kart double dash and then there's that Ronna plant makes me anxious cuz he doesn't make any noises oh my god look look at the map of what's coming towards me it's an old style blue shell I'm so proud that I got this to work that's it that's the first part that blows my mind but now that I got it possibility well there's a red shell coming yeah I'm not used to that I'm not used to seeing that and just like that baby piranha plant takes the first place spot look at them look at them giving off kisses gosh what else can we do typical Mario let's go this way Oh oh I forgot about that old Squidward drive Oh a submarine of course that is definitely what's happening why is happening oh I got a blooper in first place that's not really that helpful but thank you for that I guess huh did I use it all myself oh my god I got a bullet pill in first place oh okay so basically I have this mod installed where well no matter what place I am in the race I'll just get any random item even if it's something that I would get if I were in last place like triple mushrooms okay okay okay squid we're not that good of a driver gonna be honest chief oh boy I have truly gone too far well since we've enjoyed squid where we might as well enjoy spongebob you know we should give him a chance in the spotlight it's just truly it the best possible time line that we live in what a time to be alive mushrooms even look like they're from my Urquhart double - that's so cool give me something really good like a Bullet Bill oh I'll take a golden mushroom though that'll do this is how you secure a lead don't run into the fence that's not how you secure lead work do you know - Kristi Grubb wait where is this gonna go if I throw it oh oh I said up known oh that's terrible but I have to use it no there's not what I wanted Oh sick I got lucky eight in first place when I have an incredible unbeatable lead there's something new that you don't see every day at all he doesn't really fit in any of these carts maybe a bike no maybe a but they're kind of kind of Oh Kirby you look good bro you look great the hell is that change hop Oh peach is catching up a little bit right there a little baby PT oh never mind she tripped on something okay we're good we're fine having Boo and first place still a mushroom for you is really really broken this is the blooper okay so the blooper doesn't affect anybody but me if I'm in first place and I use it so there's an interesting thing that we learned today should I just use the Bullet Bill to cross the finish line that'd be a really dirty way to win wouldn't it let's do it why not no boom come on brawls trying to have them try and do a thing and you're still Ludwig you're still Iggy you're still Roy you're up there it is there it is I mean he doesn't have any limbs there's no chain so he's not really a Chain Chomp he's just kind of a chomp he's floating and and he sounds like that - the thing is the person in last place might just be getting coins you know what I mean like they might not be getting any items that benefit them which is great and I'm out here getting oh no look at that look look at that Oh God that is weird she's adorable okay she is she is absolutely adorable you can't say that that says this is not the cutest character so weird hearing octiline sounds in Mario Kart 8 deluxe I mean there's a lot of weird things going around right now okay there's a lot of weird stuff happening for example I got three red shells in first place Who am I gonna use them on I don't know but there's a knockin on the map so everything's cool but hold up I still got one more character for useful toon fans oh yeah this is definitely weird excuse me coming through who's that with the star you better stay back there buddy but it's taped back there I definitely picked the right map to showcase Mario this is perfect that a bullet felt Oh God you can have first place buddy take it I don't even care he's driving that cart there's no one driving that cart oh it's Kirby oh he just had to load oh no problem curve take your time buddy oh and the colors are green and pink like callie and marie murabba jean is picking this map come on give me some props for that don't mind if I snatch that victory real quick nice look at that Murray is a winner you go Murray you you get you get oh oh oh cause was getting too hot well it just shut down uh-oh so if I'm correct yeah oh I have definitely gone too far now I have definitely gone too far well no turning back now oh boy [Music] something doesn't seem right about yeah yeah something doesn't seem right about it Oh what is happening okay do we just go okay I guess we just gotta just make our way through that giant flower in the middle of the track sounds about right I'm stuck I'm stuck how do i how do I get through it if the cpus don't know either okay the queen is rainbow I just realized and the bananas are blue this map is really not what not exactly how I remember it Oh giant shy guy in the middle of the road could you not okay he's no obstacle can't figure out what this is oh it's a boat it's part of a boat sticking up I see yeah that makes that makes a lot of sense was that waluigi is waluigi stuck there he's stuck on the map II can't go anywhere I imagine these are very not ripe bananas but they're protecting me so I'm gonna roll with it there you go don't get squished yep that happened in typical Yoda you know when he wins he's got his magical flowers around him Yoda you're not gonna get through that if you keep backing up and driving it okay never mind I guess you can the colors are only slightly different with this but it makes such a big difference and I love it apparently it affects the characters too which I didn't realize why we have green hair Daisy over there okay okay hold on hold on what what is happening oh my god I'm almost sideways I can't oh my god okay major shortcut I think what if I turn on smarts here okay so smart steering kind of saves me a little bit at times so now what if I try Auto acceleration and just let the game just play itself oh you have even the game if the game doesn't help what is this even possible in Rainbow Road Wow everybody just takes off if I don't steer maybe I'll be okay oh my god okay okay I was wrong I was very wrong about that I think it's like super speed that just like sends you flying and and you can't like you can't control it and you go so fast that you go through the map well I could say one thing for sure I'm winning I'm not even touching the controller though Auto acceleration is on and the smart steering is on and as you can see the game is just Kanna winning for me I guess I might win I might win what was that guys wait I'm coming guys I'm coming hold on I'm just gonna do some donuts at the starting line real quick okay I'm gonna turn off auto accelerate and smart steering and just try to do this on my own nope can't do it too a few even if you tap gently on the remote on the a button you're gonna go flying and if you steer even slightly and left they're gonna spin out a million times gentle taps okay Rosalina you got to stop flying gotta quit flying and stop doing the spins doing the spins again hit this mode this part will just carry me I can go oh boy okay actually went to high and just oh right okay okay she's going everywhere nope you can do it you can do it you can do it oh thanks lucky to carry me right to the finish and they're off oh you have to be kidding me so we're moving we are moving really really slow I can't drift there's no way I'm gonna be able to drift oh okay this is one of the most confusing things I have ever seen in my entire life like I think it's possible that this race might actually never end let's take it to a boost panel somehow some of them are up there getting items and like driving somehow they're going fast wait what reverse isn't affected wait a second I'm cheatin Oh see you later suckers I'm outta here oh wait hold what huh this works technically I just have to avoid lakitu at all cost which is hard to do because he's everywhere the mushrooms allow you to move and so does the star kind of oh hey guys how's it going oh okay okay one of them's gonna hit the boost panel eventually and what guys you could do it don't be scared of it I'll be scary but it won't hurt you is it yeah I know it's it's a new and it seems scary but don't be afraid of it guys we're just kind of stuck here I can't believe what's happening oh my god I'll be surprised if I if I can even beat one game Oh God that the water is not helping okay wait this is this actually it does help nevermind go go go go go Oh go go okay we're good okay we're getting there we've almost completed laughs but we're making progress I I daizy is everybody still here at the start yep there they are just kind of hanging out here I'm all I'm gonna do it I'm gonna do it I'm gonna cross the finish line I did it happy one lap that's all I care about I'm done this roads got dirt now how cool is that excuse me where you guys going okay that's weird my car goes back and then it goes forwards okay nope there's definitely some issues with here it's more of a yellow shelf oh my god you can't do that can she do that oh I think I got it I got it I think I'm free I think I'm free nope not free definitely no yeah there we go okay I'm kind of figuring it out but what happens if I hit this okay that's good that's good that works so I think the CPUs are having the same problem I am no I don't know why I think that this is this is definitely not correct cool cool wait I'm almost there almost there almost there there you go that's what I needed thank you looky - see you later suckers I'm about to complete a lap no wonder I'm in first place okay I can do this I can I can do this I don't know what is happening with everybody else but I'm worrying about me right now there goes somebody I don't think I'll be able to complete three laps of this but I will see how far we can get I think I've got the strategy down though I think I've kind of figured out like how it wants to work almost there peach you're like right there honey you can do it I'm taking this one step at a time but I'm gonna do this I'm gonna be the only person to beat it because everybody else is out there doing their thing okay we're just dropping in front of me and then vanishing I got nowhere else to go who is that Bowser I think it is Bowser no reverse okay it doesn't really do anything I thought it would do oh okay okay I see everyone's gonna go reverse that's okay though that's okay cuz I'm busy winning there's no jumps there's no obstacles or anything there are cars though Oh Isabel incoming there she goes I perform a stunt and I do it or a bullet bit okay okay that what happened is it's not letting me get off this ramp pitches well let me do it wait I think I found the strategy I think I found the key to winning dude choc Jessie are helping me whoa that was a bullet bill going backwards okay that's something I never thought I would see get some items maybe I can get some items I can help okay I think this might have been a little too much chaos and my switch is overheating [Music] [Applause] [Music]
