I Played Mario Kart Wii in 2019...

[Music] and I remember when this character selection screen used to be crazy and they added Rosalina which is a character that I had a crush on from like the ages of nine to nineteen oh my god I forgot that there's a little baby luma that follows you around and makes obnoxious noises every time you perform a stunt oh this is great Oh shortcut time baby shortcut Wow let's go oh yeah that shortcut really is not that good is it dropped you off in the grass but okay and using the nunchuck and the Wiimote is so weird it's like playing with separated joy Kahn I feel like that's essentially the same feeling if you play with your joy Kahn separated on the switch that's a day Jane job that thing is terrifying oh maybe I shouldn't have taken this shortcut maybe that wasn't the best idea it's okay though I'm miles ahead of the person in second place so I think I'm pretty safe whoo yeah first game one and this used to be one of my absolute favorite Maps I don't know why it's not even really that cool of a map but I loved it as a kid and they don't y'all don't stand a chance aw it's these things I still don't understand that y'all need to re add those in Mario Kart 9 if I don't see any of those jumpy ramp rail things I wanna be disappointed the Wii mode is making like all kinds of sounds and stuff whenever I drift whenever I bounce and against things which is weird because like I'm not used to my controller being part of the sound experience no no no no no okay I can't avoid that there is no way to avoid that Oh Bowser wants to pass me okay Bowser I'm gonna snipe King Boo with this banana watch this wait for it wait for it wait for it ain't gotcha oh let's go boo first place baby first place and I missed being able to do wheelies I don't think you can do this in any modern game I wish you could though willies were awesome they were also super unfair because you could just feel faster if you had a bike automatically which made bikes totally overpowered that's okay let's go DK summit this map was hot despite it being you know a snow level it was hot in the sense that it was it was fun it was like really popular you know what I mean oh man I remember watching the Winter Olympics and then being like yo I can do that in Mario Kart is Mario Kart level based off of that then I would play on this map all the time and it was super fun watch the shortcut watch this shortcut ready whoa that's really dangerous and I am surprised that survived that though this map was a blast dude this map was so much fun oh my god okay don't do that again please Oh later Bluebird can't even touch me bro okay lightning can touch me you'll back off back off back off goodnight him goodnight I'm getting at him Oh safe oh my god is it ever gonna hit me am I just too fast oh okay I'm going I'm just going in circles now here we go aerial excuse me what just happened shortcut go for the shortcut I never fall off on this map I'm still in first though sweet oh never mind that's a lot of green shells oh god they don't matter though nothing matters cuz booyah we got the win never throw it behind me see if it gets someone no well save me from that red shell so I guess I can't complain thanks I guess oh that's not gonna protect me no I hate that item never protects you from anything it's the equivalent of getting a coin in mario kart 8 I'm taking this shortcut yes I almost never got to take that and I'm in first place look at that oh snap sorry boo not today buddy boo is always creeping up on me I don't like that Oh mega mushroom I forgot about this item I never got to use this because I was always in first place oh man oh it's that's not true it's not true at all give me that first place Bowser give me that first place back off what a shame ah I think that Mario take that Mario get him yes I had no idea that was actually gonna work but it did oh yeah I forgot the the ink will clear if you hit a jump wow this game was advanced oh I dodged a red shell yo that was nice though I didn't even mean to do that no no paint my payment for no that's what I get for dodging that red shell earlier that's a win right there baby that's the easy one I have not lost a single game and I lost I mean I haven't even come in second place oh look at the little me characters hanging out in Cocoa burger and the ones driving the cars if you had little meat characters on your actual Wii console it would put your Me's in that car so I would always have to dodge my aunt Kathy who was driving a car in the parking lot in Mario Kart Wii y'all about to get it now come on baby Mario gotcha ha I don't feel bad of course not you can kind of mall has stairs like this I never really thought about this these cheesegrater stairs what kind of what is that yo there's a piano hate myself back up did it go over her does this shell just fly over all that's gonna get her yeah came right back thank you or no one's gonna be able to dodge that nice that was close I might be losing my touch a little bit that and I mean I haven't changed the battery in like three years so maybe that's what's going on I figure if this is gonna be our last game with king bumi got to go to my hometown o rest in peace baby Mario oh man careful with that oh nice okay you got to be cautious around these parts you know I'm saying haunted valley messes you up not like this not like this please me scared to drive look at this it's a mess people driving active explosives on the road excuse me bomb who's driving that bomb how is that the street legal but watch out for that bomb back there bro the music for this level either this is this is this is this is the Bowser's Castle baby oh god oh man that was I genuinely like jumped oh you shouldn't have slipped up on that obstacle Mario guess who's got the lead now no no no no no no it's gonna put me in lava oh my god that's brutal dude okay okay that kind of saves me from jumping into the lava so I guess I'm kind of cool with that whoa Jayant total eart watch out for the oh you've got to be kidding me oh you bet you have to be kidding me with that this is actually ridiculous I should not be this far back oh my god I'm hitting I am not good at this game anymore watch it watch them Oh Luigi what are you doing dude yes oh my gosh and in one lap I've managed to get No come on baby it's right there it's right there it's right there first place first place get it yes Oh people think this is the hardest map in the game this was my absolute favorite alright let's see if I still got my touch oh my god okay it's already off to a shaky start huh I'm gonna do the shortcut here we go just barely made it there back in my prime days of being ten years old I played this map so much that I was one of the top 100 times trials players with this nowadays I can't even finish a Grand Prix oh really that's so unsatisfying oh rich whoa whoa whoa that's not a green cell that's a koopa troopa behind me how did I miss that what banana banana jeez man I feel like I'm attracted to obstacles in this game at this point here we go no I missed it oh my god that is the most unsatisfying thing ever that's terrible oh oh watch watch watch it okay mushroom mushroom got it we're safe oh I don't know what's happening anymore Oh God there we go oh it still feels just as good as a day when I was a little kid no what is dad oh that totally
