alright are you ready to get into God's Word alright let's open our Bibles to Leviticus chapter 23 we're going to begin in just a moment with verse 15 I've entitled this message counting the Omer preparing for the outpouring and this is part 2 so we're talking about counting the Omer we want to look at what the scripture says about that in Leviticus chapter 23 starting with verse 15 it says and from the morrow after the Sabbath this is talking about the weekly Sabbath in Passover week so it's going to be the first day of the week from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering that's firstfruits or young haba kareem you shall count for yourselves 7 completed Sabbath's now this is the second Sabbath so that's 14 days everybody say 14 days welcome to 14 days alright verse 16 until tomorrow or the day after the seventh Sabbath so 7 times 7 is 49 you count 50 days so it's seven Sabbath's and one day is 50 days and that leads us up to the feast of Shavuot okay so the period of time between the sea crossing and when y'all met with the children of Israel at Mount Sinai encompasses this 50 days so it's the 50 days between firstfruits and Shabbat all so I wanted us to begin looking at the events that we can find in Scripture from the sea crossing all the way until Israel meets with y'all at Mount Sinai and see what we can glean see what we can learn from those events that took place in those 50 days as they travel to Mount Sinai and of course last week we talked about the bitter waters of Marah and this week we're going to get into Exodus chapter 16 so please turn there Exodus chapter 16 starting with verse 1 and it says and they set out from aleem and all the congregation of the children Israel came to the wilderness of seen which is between aleem and see nigh the 15th day of the second new moon everybody say the fifteenth day of the second new moon that's the 15th day of the second month so we know that the children Israel left Egypt on the fifteenth day of the first month and so this is about 30 days later this is in the second month on the fifteenth day verse two and all the congregation of the children of Israel grumbled against Moshe in our own in the wilderness everybody say grumbled not a good thing folks not a good things it's human nature for us to grumble and complain about circumstances that may arise in our lives but it's not a good thing to grumble against the leaders of y'all's people it's not a good thing to grumble against the Almighty or to grumble in the midst of the circumstances that we face in Matthew chapter 12 starting with verse 34 Yeshua taught that the mouth speaks from the overflow of the heart so when we hear someone complaining and murmuring and criticizing and speaking evil then basically they're revealing what is in their hearts okay so again Matthew chapter 12 verse 34 Yeshua said brood of adders so he called them vipers or snakes how are you able to speak what is good being wicked for the mouth speaks from the overflow of the heart the good man brings forth what is good from the good treasures of his heart and the wicked man brings forth what is wicked from the wicked treasure and I say to you that for every idle word men speak they shall give an account of it in the day of judgment for by your words everybody say by my words you shall be declared righteous and by your words you shall be declared unrighteous so again as we're counting these days as we're learning these lessons as we prepare for Shalu upcoming these are the things that we need to be thinking about and meditating on and praying about and seeing actually what the condition of our heart might be if we do go around grumbling and speaking evil against people and criticizing the time that is a sign that there's something wrong with the heart and we need to be transparent with the Almighty we need to repent and turn from idle words evil words that show what the condition of our heart is amen and so let's think about that by our words we're declared righteous and by our words we're also declared unrighteous so if we take a moment and just inspect ourselves inspect our words you can tell the condition of your heart by what's coming out of your mouth can you say men all right look at exit 16 verse 3 and the children of Israel said to them said to Moshe into our own listen to this if only we had died by the hand of yonder words if only yah had killed us in the land of mitzrayim or in the land of Egypt when we set by the pots of meat and when we ate bread the satisfaction for you have brought us out into this wilderness to put all this assembly to death with hunger well you just probably couldn't have said anything worse than that God you should have just killed us in Egypt when we were sitting by pots of meat and eating bread amen you talked about being in the flesh the scripture says that we're not to walk in the flesh but in the spirit and James chapter 3 starting with verse 5 Yakov or James said that the tongue is a member that set on fire by Gehenna all right so - the tongue is a little member yet both greatly see how a little fire Kindles a great forest it only takes a spark to burn scores and scores hundreds of acres of land and just think about the tongue having that that capacity that ability verse 6 the tongue is a fire the world of unrighteousness among our members the tongue is set the one to filing the entire body and setting on fire the will of life and it is on fire by Gehenna your Bible may say it's set on fire by hell all right so we need to learn to tame the tongue to bridle the tongue amen just because circumstances change in your life and they're not as comfortable as you'd like them to be don't start criticizing and grumbling and speaking evil of people around about you especially your leaders amen I'm going to show you something here just a moment that will really encourage you to be careful not to speak evil of our leaders amen look at Hebrews chapter 3 in verse 7 this says that Israel possessed an evil heart of unbelief says therefore as the set-apart spirit says today if you hear his laws we're supposed to be listening to his voice are we not today if you hear your voice do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion in the day of trial in the wilderness this is the writer of Hebrews basically reflecting on what we are reading about in the book of Exodus alright don't harden your hearts as they did in the rebellion in the day of trial in the wilderness where your fathers tried me prove me and saw my works 40 years yeah they saw his works but they didn't believe and they didn't obey verse 10 therefore I was grieved with that generation and said they always go astray in their heart so if you're going to go astray it starts in your heart all right and they have not known my ways they've not embraced my ways and I take there's anything the Spirit is saying to the body of believers today is that we are to learn your shoe's ways the ways of yah and we're to walk in those ways amen we go astray because of our hearts all right when we go straights because our hearts are not turned perfectly toward him amen we we don't believe what the scripture says and because we don't believe then we don't obey so this is a season of turning our hearts back to y'all believing what he says in his word and obeying walking in his ways can you say men verse 11 as I swore in my wrath if they shall enter into my rest Psalm 95 seven first well look out brothers everybody say look out look out brothers lest there be in any of you a wicked heart of unbelief in falling away from the Living Elohim but encourage one another daily while it is called today what is this day called today so we need to encourage one another in that right lest any of you be hardened by the deceivableness your Bible may say the deceitfulness of sin for we have become partakers of Messiah if everybody say if if we hold fast the beginning of our trust firm to the end now this passage shoots a death dart in the heart of once saved always saved alright notice what it says again but we have become partakers of Messiah if you're going to take in Messiah if you hold fast the beginning of your trust firm to the end you got to get across the finish line folks can you say a big Amen verse 16 for who having heard rebelled was it not all who came out of Mitzrayim led by Moshe and with whom was he grieved 40 years was it not with those who sinned whose corpses fell in the wilderness and to whom did he swear that they would not enter into his rest but to those who did not what obey all right so this is the writer of Hebrews emphasizing the importance of obeying it's not just about mentally ascending to some fact that Yeshua is the son of Elohim it goes beyond that we have to have a faith that produces what obedience because the demons believe but they don't obey is that right you have to have more than demon faith we must have a faith that produces obedience to Yas word amen verse 19 so we see that they were unable to enter in because of unbelief and that unbelief led to disobedience all right back to Exodus chapter 16 look at verse four and y'all said to Moshe see I'm raining bread from the heavens for you okay so they're complaining about being hungry and y'all said I'm going to rain bread from the heavens for you and the people shall go out and gather a day's portion every day and this was in order to try them he was going to test them whether they would walk in my Torah my instructions or not many of the challenges that you face in your life is yeah yeah allowing circumstances to test us to see if we're going to walk in his Torah or not amen that's why we shouldn't curse the opportunity that's why we shouldn't talk bad about people amen we should believe y'all obey His commandments and watch how we end up walking in the blessing amen and the people shall go out and gather a day's portion you don't you didn't get more than a day's portion because if you kept it over till morning its stank and bread worms you got that day's portion and that was it until we get to the sixth day we'll talk about that in a minute and he did that he told him to do that to try them to see if they're going to walk in his Torah or not look at Deuteronomy chapter 30 beginning with verse 15 and this is y'all saying I am going to set before you or I am setting before you life and death blessing and cursing you get to choose amen Deuteronomy 30 start of the verse 15 see I have set before you today life and good and death and evil and that I am commanding you today to love yah but if they love y'all love y'all your Elohim to walk in his ways say walk in his ways and to guard his command say guard his commands and his laws his laws and his right ruling say his right rulings so how are we going to love him we're going to love him by walking in his ways by guarding his commands and his laws and his right rulings that's why your sewer said if you love me keep my Commandments he was quoting torrent folks he was saying the very words of his father when his father commanded his people to love him by walking in his ways and keeping his commandments amen and notice if we do this notice what it says and you shall live and increase and yo your Elohim shall bless you in the land which you go to possess so I love these words in this one phrase it says I'm going to live I'm going to increase I'm going to be blessed and I'm going to possess hallelujah how many of you would say that sounds good to me Amen but here's the but sorry there's a but but there is one but if your heart turns away and you do not obey and shall be drawn away and shall bow down to other mighty ones and serve them I have declared to you today that you shall certainly perish you shall not prolong your days in the land which you are passing over the yard and to enter and possess I have called the heavens and the earth as a witness today against you I have set before you what life and death the blessing and the curse therefore you shall choose life so that you live both you and your seed you know I love the way the Almighty gives a test he gives the test but then it gives you the answer he says here's the test I'm gonna set before you life and death blessing and cursing here's the answer choose life choose life so you live choose life so that your children live choose life so that your grandchildren live amen and what is choosing life it's choosing to obey folks when we obey his word we choose life when we obey his word we choose the blessing that's why we must have a faith a belief that produces obedience hallelujah people say oh god such a mean God no he's not a not a mean God you've heard people say well listen to this you know he's just waiting up in you know in his throwing room waiting for you to make a mistake so he can send to curse your way no he told you what you need to do so that you can remain blessed and that's what he wants for you hallelujah alright back to Exodus chapter 16 verse 5 and it shall be on the sixth day everybody say the sixth day see they didn't name the days they numbered the days the first day the second day the third day the fourth day the fifth day the sixth day Shabbat you see how she BOTS the most important it got a name Amen the first day the second day the third day the fourth day the fifth day the sixth day Shabbat hallelujah alright it shall be did we get a hallelujah back there from a young one Amen hallelujah that shall be on the sixth day but it say the sixth day that they shall prepare what they bring in now this is the phrase that gives us you know the words preparation day you want to know why people call the six day preparation day because that's what y'all said and it shall be on the sixth day that they shall prepare what they bring in and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily so on the sixth day you go to gather twice as much you're going to prepare for two days all right and Moshe and Aharon said to all the children of Israel at evening you shall know that yah has brought you out of the land of miss Ryan you know I find it interesting that the people demanded that the almighty continue to prove himself over and over and over again I mean he brought them out of Egypt with mighty signs and wonders he brought him over the sea on dry ground they saw his glory he led them with a cloud by day and a fire by night but but they're still challenging him you know and I'm going to show you Scripture in a moment where they cried out in the wilderness can y'all prepare a table can he really be a provider out here in this wilderness folks if you want to get the almighty Rafa that's a good King James word isn't it angry with you then cry out is our ell able to provide that makes him angry we're going to read about here in just a moment alright but he says here Moshe and Aharon said to the children of Israel at evening you shall know that yah has brought you out of the land of mists rain in other words y'all up to something you watch what he's going to do you're complaining about being hungry and not having enough you watch what it's going to do verse 7 and in the morning you shall see the esteem of the glory of yah here it is for he hears your grumblings against yah and what are we that you grumble against us so here's an important fact that we need to meditate on as we count the Omer - Shavuot and that is Yossi's our grumbling against leadership in the body as grumbling against him now I got one little we came in and a little bit of a moan and groan Amen how many of you would confess it at one point another and you know I'll join you we looked at some situation and we thought maybe a leader of the body wasn't doing the right thing and we carried on a conversation with somebody else about you know if they were really following the Almighty we'd be doing something else you know Amen I got a couple more amens on that one let me tell you what the almighty sees about us grumbling against leadership he sees it as grumbling against him now that doesn't mean that you that you can't make a righteous judgment it's not talking about you know being brain-dead as it relates to being able to determine you know whether leadership is is following the spirit it just means that all the criticism and the evil talk amen and the grumbling and the murmuring and the complaining and talking people down is considered by yah grumbling against him amen can I get a better amen now here's the Torah principle behind that Exodus 2228 do not revile an Elohim nor curse a ruler of your people so don't curse a rule or a leader of your people we could see the writer of Hebrews applies that principle when he says this in Hebrews chapter 13 verse 17 obey those leading you and be subject to them for they watch for your lives as having to give an account let them do so with joy if I say joy and not groaning in other words groan they're groaning because of the grief that we give them for that would be of no advantage to you all right so at the end of this year I will have been in the ministry for 30 years and there have been times you know when when you you really feel like wow you know all the sowing and the giving that you're giving to people and you know you know about the the grumbling and the complaining even Moshe felt that way at one point you remember what he said to the Almighty look just kill me you know I think it's a natural response for people who are in leadership just to get to that place where it's like oh man it's got to be better than this right just kill me but but what is the what is the right of Hebrew saying to us that that our leaders should be able to lead us with joy and and not groaning because of the of the grief and the trouble and the strife that we're creating can you say good amen look at verse 18 says pray for us all right so pray for those who are leading for we trust that we have a good conscience desiring to behave well in every way so instead of grumbling and criticizing we ought to be praying for our leaders and lifting them up now back to Exodus 16 verse 9 and Moshe a said to our own say to all the congregation of the children so I'll come near before yah for he has heard your grumblings and it came to be as our own spoke to all the congregation of the children that they look toward the wilderness and the esteem of the glory of yaa appeared in the cloud you know something's up when you look toward the wilderness and you see the esteem of yaa appearing he's about to take care of some business amen they look toward the wilderness and see the esteem of yaa appeared in the cloud verse 11 and yah spoke to Moshe a saying I have heard the grumblings of the Chula Vista il speak to them saying between the evenings you are to eat meat so he is going to provide them some meat and in the morning you are to be satisfied with bread so you're going to get meat in the evening and you're going to get bread in the morning since you talked about woman yah to kill you in Egypt sitting next to your meat pots and eating all your bread he's going to give you some meat and he's going to give you some bread amen watch out and you shall know that I am yah your Elohim and it came to be that quails came up at evening and covered the camp and in the morning the do lay all around the camp and the the lair of do went up and see on the surface of the wilderness was a small round substance as fine as frost on the ground and the children Israel saw and they said to each other what is it you know what it was manna what is it for they did not know what it was in Moshe said to them it is the bread which yah has given you to eat yah is your provider all right he is your provider now let's go a little bit deeper into this story about about the quail coming in okay you wanted quail y'all is gonna give you some quail hallelujah what else do you want that badly you may not know what I'm talking about you but you will when we start reading numbers go to numbers 11 numbers 11 starting with verse 18 and say to the people set yourselves apart for tomorrow you shall eat meat because you have wept in the hearing of yah saying who is giving us meat to eat can you imagine it you know I was thinking about this you can take the person out of slavery but it's hard to get slavery out of the person you know the Almighty showed himself in so many wonderful ways and they're out in the wilderness and they're doubting his ability from provide for them but before I you know put too much of that on the children Israel I want to have many of us they're kind of the same way yeah amen amen I appreciate it we got some honest people in this crowd putting up hands that's a beautiful thing praise y'all all right who is giving us meat to eat for it was well with us in miss Ryan high yeah so you've already forgotten about the hard labor and y'all shall give you meat and you shall eat all right they were they were an unbelieving and ungrateful people verse 19 you are going to eat here it is not one day oh you want me you're not going to eat just one day nor two days nor five days nor ten days nor twenty days but for a new moon of days an entire month you're going to eat this meat all right until it comes out of your nostrils and becomes an abomination to you how many of you ate leftovers for a day or two you couldn't get the wife to cook anything else you made so much the first time you haven't eat the same thing over and over again after a while you know it's it's an abomination it we need to be thankful we're eating David we need to be thankful we're eating he says you're going to eat it until it's coming out of your nostrils and becomes an abomination to you because you have rejected yah who is among you and have wept before him saying why did we come up out of matray and Moshe a said the people in whose midst I am are 600,000 men on foot that's not counting the women in those children and you you have said I give them meat to eat for a new moon of days for a whole month now this is this is Moses kind of questioning what what the almighty said could flocks and herds be slain for them to be sufficient for them or could all the fish of the sea be gathered together for them to be sufficient for them so most days having a moment of doubt is he not wondering how is this going to happen and numbers 23:19 tells us el is not a man to lie nor a son of man to repeat has he said and would he not do it or spoken and would not confirm it amen in other words if y'all says that he's going to do it if he spoke it it's going to come to pass you can take that to the bank amen verse 23 and y'all said to Moshe is the arm of yah too short now see whether my word meets you or not or whether my word comes true or not okay verse 31 and a wind everybody said a wind and a wind went forth from yah and brought quail from the sea and let them fall beside the camp notice how a great distance of land was covered by these quail okay about a day's journey on this side and about a day's journey on the other side so how much quail came in with you started walking you walk a day and you'd see quail for the whole day if you started on the other side you'd walk a day and see quail on the other side as you walk the whole day all right and it brought this wind brought quail from the sea and let them fall beside the camp about a day's journey on this side and about a day's journey on the other side all around the camp and about two cubits above the surface of the ground okay so y'all inundated them with with quail you know and I'm not an expert on on ancient measurements but it's it's what what I've studied is it's about from it's about from your elbow to the tip of your finger to be be one cubit and then two is double that all right so so think about it these quail are on the ground that much a day's journey on either side of the camp okay that's a lot of quail notice verse 32 and the people were up all that day everybody say up all that day and all that night they set up all night and all the next day so that's two days of the night they were gathering quail why he who had least got it ten OMERS and they spread them out for themselves all around the camp can you imagine what that looked like the meat was still between their teeth well they were so happy they were chewing on that meat the meat was still between their teeth before it was chewed and the wrath of yaa burned against the people and y'all struck the people with an exceeding great plague then he called the name of that place kubera hata alwa because there they buried the people who had lusted all right so there was a great plague that took place many people died and they buried the people who had lusted for that for that meat 1st Corinthians chapter 6 verse 9 says do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the reign of Elohim do not be deceived neither those who nor idolaters nor adulterers nor effeminate nor homosexuals nor thieves nor greedy of gain nor drunkards nor revilers nor swindlers shall inherit the reign of elohim and such were some of you but you were washed if I say I was washed but you were set apart but you were declared right in the name of the master Yeshua and by the spirit of our Elohim so we're not to live in the flesh and lust after the flesh praise y'all like they did now I want us to go over to Psalm 78 begin with verse 10 and I want to get into what I had mentioned earlier about how they cried out in the wilderness can yah prepare a table in this wilderness all right so y'all's wrath burned hot against them because they said can y'all prepare a table in the wilderness Psalm 78 10 they the children Israel did not guard the Khalidov Elohim and they refused to walk in his Torah and they forgot his deeds and his wonders which he had shown them all right he did wonders in the sight of their fathers in the land of mitzrayim in the field of so on he split the see look at all these things that he did he split the sea and caused them to pass through he made the water stand up like a heap he led them by the cloud by day and all the night with a light of fire he split the rocks in the wilderness and made them drink as from the great depths and brought forth streams from the rock and caused waters to come down as rivers notice verse 17 yet they sinned still more against him to rebel against the most high in the desert and they tried L in their heart by asking food according to their desire in other words they wanted their desire done not his desire done and Yeshua teaches us as he told us to pray that we're to pray that Allah's will is done alright Matthew 6:9 Yeshua said this then is the way you should pray our Father who is in the heavens let your name be set apart let your rain come let your desire or your will be done on earth as it is in heaven all of you know that very familiar passage verse 19 and they spoke against Elohim they said is L able to set a table in the wilderness in other words Kenya Kenya provide for us Kenyatta satisfy our need for food and this wilderness they're looking around they don't have their eyes on y'all they have their eyes on the wilderness and it's a it is an ugly wilderness it's dry and rocky and you know is is you're able to prepare a table to spread a table in this wilderness is he able to provide for me in the current circumstances that I'm facing you know if you're focused on your circumstances it'll bring doubt in your heart about the ability of Y Almighty but he doesn't like his people to doubt him concerning his ability the scripture says he's able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we could ever ask or think according to the power that's at work in us he is able and so they cried out Kenya and they shouldn't have been saying Kenya asking the question Kenya if people in your life will ask you the same question Kent can your God do this can he provide for you can he work a miracle can he fuel your sick body when they say this Kenya Kenya provide Kenya bless can y'all save what is your answer your answer is y'all can and y'all will that's the talk of belief y'all can and y'all will Amen Kenya y'all can and y'all will Kenya y'all can and y'all will say with me can y'all y'all can and y'all will can y'all y'all can and y'all will Amen that's belief talking hallelujah is L able to set a table in the wilderness look he struck the rock so that the waters gushed out and the streams overflowed he is able to give bread notice it says able to give bread also I mean they're still questioning would he provide meat for his people there for y'all heard and he was wrong so a fire was kindled against Yaakov and displeasure also came up against Israel because they did not believe in Elohim neither did they trust in his deliverance now before we put too much focus on what happened in the wilderness was with Israel can you take a moment and apply these principles to yourself can you be transparent and say you know there's been times when I was overwhelmed with circumstances and my eyes got off of him and got on to the circumstances and I was really wondering if he was going to show up and do something for me even questioned his ability there have you ever gotten to a place in life where you wonder you know he can do this but I wonder if he if he can do that oh you might say well he did this but I wonder if he will do this in that right and so we need to be believers we need to believe in our God who's made these promises to us that if we are willing and obedient we will eat the good of the land amen we'll see we'll see the goodness of our yah in the land of the living as the psalmist wrote hallelujah let's go on 23 verse 23 yet he had commanded the clouds above and opened the doors of the heavens look at all these things that he did and he rained down manna on them to eat and he gave them the grain of the heavens men ate bread of the mighty he sent them provisions to satisfaction he made an east wind blow in the heavens and by the power by his power he brought in the south wind and he rained meat on them as they were complaining about meat and they got rained on like the dust and winged birds like the sand of the seas and let them fall in the midst of his camp all around his dwelling place so they ate and were completely satisfied for he brought them what they desired they had not turned away from their desire their food was still in their mouths when the wrath of Elohim came against them and he killed among their fat ones hmm and struck down the choice was of Israel in spite of all this they still sinned and did not believe in his wonders so he ended their days in a breath and their years in trouble all right that's very sobering is it not very sobering I don't want any of us to have a wicked heart of unbelief I don't want us to get our focus on circumstances and forget all about our el who's Abel a men I don't want us to get it into an attitude or a spirit of grumbling and complaining and talking down sincere people who are trying to hear from the spirit and lead the congregation amen because y'all says when you when you grumble against leadership you're grumbling against me these are things to think about as we as we prepare for shovel walk we're counting down the Omer amen all right back to Exodus chapter 16 we're going to close with just a few more passages here Exodus 16 16 so yah is going to provide manage and provide bread we talked about the quail now he's going to provide bread this is the word which yah has commanded let every man gather it according to each one's need and Omer for each being all right so everybody got an omer of bread according to the number of beings let every man take for those who are in his tent okay so all the family got an Omer everyone got an Omer and the children be trialed did so and gathered some more some families gathered more some less verse 19 and Moshe a said let no one leave any of it until morning okay so Moshe a speaking for the Almighty he's giving the two wrote the instructions of the Almighty and this is what the almighty wanted them to do he wanted them to gather for six days on the sixth day together twice as much but he said only gather what I've given you for each person don't leave it until morning all right and they did not listen to Moshe so some of them left part of it until morning and it bred worms and stank all right now let me just say something I didn't know I was going to say this but I feel like it's of the spirit when we don't obey when we decide how we're going to do it and we don't obey the almighty our actions even if we have justified them as good they stink before the nostrils of the Almighty amen they're worthy of worms and they stink and we love every person is a part of the overall body of believers but I tell you the religion religion has deceived people to think that they can alter the commandments do things according to their own will and their own desire and that y'all will accept it that it'll be pleasing to him and it won't this is an example if you don't do it his way because his ways bring what life and blessing hid that right then it will produce worms and it will stink and I tell you many years I was very sincere and and and and I lived my life the way that I felt like I was supposed to live it according to the teachings that I'd received all my life and was very sincere but I tell you could be sincere and sincerely wrong about some things and at that part of my life that I was sincerely wrong about wasn't pleasing the Almighty it was worm worthy and it stank before the Almighty so now I'm thankful that we've made adjustments to realize that we're not to abolish the words of the Almighty amen we're not to adjust them to our liking like a lot of people do I'll give you an example the Sabbath we're gonna talk about the Sabbath in a moment but but religion will teach that the Sabbath is a principle that it's a rest Prince of and and that you could take any day any day of the week could be your seven just pick a day and I've heard sincere preachers teach on the importance of honoring the Sabbath principle we all need to rest if we don't rescue to wear yourself out right and I've heard them say my Sabbath is on Monday okay well look I understand I understand where they are and what they're coming from they lack knowledge on this all right but look the Shabbat on the seventh day is a prophetic picture of the kingdom to come Yeshua's Millennial Kingdom it's a sabbatical Kingdom all right six days of human labor 6,000 years remember a day is like a thousand years and a thousand years as a day to the Almighty six days of human labor six thousand years and then the seventh day comes and it is a kingdom it is the kingdom of Yeshua where he rules and reigns from yerushalayim for how many years 1,000 years because it's the seventh day and and Satan is bound amen so it is 1,000 years of Shalom it is a sabbatical kingdom if you move it from the seventh day and you put it on the second day on Monday or any other day you completely destroy the prophetic picture that the Almighty has painted for us you can't adjust those things on on your whim can you say men religion the religion cannot move something religion can't make an adjustment because it fits their their liking to take the Sabbath the seventh day Sabbath and move it to Sunday alright because moving the Sabbath to Sunday is worm worthy and it stinks in the nostrils of the Almighty amen and you can apply it to to any other of the commandments amen we are not Elohim we are not yah we are we are not the Creator we don't have that Liberty amen and so I just wanted to make that point and bear that out all right let no one leave any of it until morning they didn't listen to Mosier some of them left it until morning and bred worms and stank and Moshe was Roth with in he motors was getting angry at him and they gathered it every morning each one according to his need and when the Sun became hot it melted look at verse 22 and it came to be on the sixth day that they get it twice as much bread to OMERS for each one and all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moshe and he said to them this is what yah has said tomorrow is a rest a Sabbath set apart - yah that which you bake bake that which you cook cook so when are you supposed to do your baking and your cooking on the sixth day all right you're supposed to prepare on the sixth day so that you can rest on the seventh day all right mama gets a break she doesn't have to cook on the seventh day hallelujah amen that which you bake bake that which you cook cook and lay up for yourselves all that is left over to keep it until morning so on the seventh day a miracle takes place the actual exact opposite of the first six days you can leave it over till morning and it won't have worms in it and it won't stink how about that there is a miracle a miracle involved in the Sabbath if you want to enter into the miracle of the Sabbath then keep the Sabbath Cosway there's a miracle of provision a miracle of blessing that's associated with the Sabbath amen and I could testify to it my life is more rich and filled with the presence of the Almighty walking in the abundant blessings of y'all since I've been observing the Sabbath than all the years prior to that amen I wouldn't change it for anything folks I'm not going back to Egypt are you my flesh isn't thinking about well yah why didn't you kill me in Egypt while I was sitting next to the pots of meat and eating the bread amen walking in bountiful blessings now praise y'all alright verse 24 and they laid it up till morning as Moshe commanded and it did not stink and no worm was in it and Moshe said eat it today for today is a Sabbath - yah today you will do you will not find it in the field in other words don't even go out there together food because I'm not going to put any in the field all right gather at 6 days but on the seventh day which is the Sabbath there is none and it came to be that some of the people went out on the seventh day to gather anyway okay in other words they went to work on the Sabbath Oh crickets in here when I said that there were people in the camp that went to work on the Sabbath did you notice and it came to be that some of the people went out on the seventh day to gather but they found none are you going to find blessings when you're in disobedience no there's a lot of religious people that are going out on the seventh day together even today they're not going to find the blessing there verse 28 and y'all said to Moshe how long shall you refuse to guard my Commandments and my two wrote my instructions see because yah has given you the Sabbath therefore he is giving you bread for two days on the sixth day let each one stay in his place do not let anyone go out of its place on the seventh day in other words don't go to work together on the seventh day so the people arrested on the seventh day alright and then I want to I want to finish with this today Exodus chapter 31 sorry we verse 12 so during this period of counting the Omer it's important to determine to be fully obedient to the commands of yah including the Sabbath commandment now some of you have been on this journey for a number of years and we praise y'all for that some of you have been on this journey along with me for a little over two years we praise y'all for that I said in my early days as we were learning the scripture we were reading it together we were learning it I said by the spirit there's grace for growth there's grace for forward motion and there is great grace for growth as you're processing the scripture but please don't allow those words of mind to be an excuse for you when it comes to obedience because look when you stand before the Almighty you can't call me up to testify for you well he said there's grace for forward motion it's been 2 years now so the question is are we going to be obedient and he's been very gracious to allow us opportunity to adjust our lifestyle to adjust what goes on with our work to find a new job if we need to amen and I know that that you're here on Shabbat so I know I'm probably as they would say preaching to the choir but but the thing is I just wanted to say publicly yes there's grace for forward motion but after two years we all should have processed these scriptures and have come to our own personal conviction about these things and no longer don't point to me in prayer but ah but he said amen now it's time to come face-to-face with are you going to be obedient or not for me it was two years ago and some of you have also made that decision that's why you're here today but I just wanted to put that little excitation in actually I was convicted by the Spirit in prayer a few weeks ago about that that that I had said in the early days there's grace for for motion and that some people are using that as an excuse to not be obedient so that's why I'm saying I'm saying right now hallelujah all right did you find Exodus chapter 31 verse 12 and y'all spoke to Moshe a saying and you speak to the children of Israel saying my Sabbath's you are to guard everybody say guard or obey by all means what does it say by all means you're to obey or you're to guard my Sabbath for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations now religion will say this is just talking about the Jews you've heard people say that well that's just for the Jews oh they'll say that's for Israel we're Gentiles okay were you grafted into believing Israel when you accepted Yeshua as mastered Messiah did you become a part of the Commonwealth of Israel so what belongs to Israel belongs to you including this sign and this eternal covenant that you're to keep throughout your generations you want to talk about something that will set you apart you know a lot of people think holiness is is some kind of a personal attribute but holiness simply means you are set apart from the rest of the world you want to know how you're going to be holy obey yah obey his commands and you will be set apart because I can tell you the world is not obeying him you want to know how you can be holy observe his seventh-day Sabbath keep that fourth commandment and you'll be set apart from the rest of the world because notice what the world does on the seventh day that's the world's play date that's where everybody does their fun stuff if they're not working right and they consider that family day or fun day or activities they are shopping day amen and completely ignore what the scripture says about it because they're following religion and religion has moved the Sabbath even though they think they've moved it you can't move it it doesn't move over to Sunday but even religious people don't keep if you want called Sunday the Christian Sabbath they don't even keep Sunday the way the Sabbath ought to be kept can you say men but if you want to be holy set apart unto yah then observe his seventh day Sabbath the way he wants it observe my Sabbath's you are to guard by all means for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations to know that I yah am setting you apart so the Sabbath itself is so that you know that you are set apart unto y'all and you shall guard the Sabbath for it is set apart to you it's set apart somebody once said to me well every day is the Sabbath all days are set apart under y'all well if every day is set apart then how can any day be holy because it meant holy means set apart from all the other days are you following me all right you shall guard the Sabbath free to set apart to you everyone who profanes it shall certainly be put to death for anyone who does work on it that being shall be cut off from among his people 6 day's work is done and on the seventh is a Sabbath of rest set apart to yah everyone doing work on the Sabbath day shall certainly be put to death that's three times in this one passage Amen that that phrase be put to death is is there and the children of Israel shall guard the Sabbath are you a child of Israel then you're to guard the Sabbath notice to perform the Sabbath throughout there are your generations as a what an everlasting covenant between me and the tilled of Israel it is a sign for how long forever for in six days yah made the heavens and the earth and on the seventh day he rested and was refreshed amen so these are principles that we're to meditate on that we're to pray about that we're to be transparent concerning if we've transgressed some of these principles in this counting of the Omer counting to fifty days to Shavuot we know that the first shovel was the giving of the Torah on the Mount Sinai the giving of the teachings but we also read in the second chapter of the book of Acts on Shavuot there was the outpouring of the Spirit so it was the giving of the teacher giving up the teacher and the scripture tells us that we're to be being filled with the Holy Spirit if you look into the original language that says be being filled be continually filled with the Holy Spirit so this is the time we were thinking about the outpouring of fresh anew we know that they received the outpouring on on the day of Pentecost you might say our Shavuot in the second chapter of the book of Acts but in the fourth chapter they prayed again they pray for boldness and they prayed that signs and wonders would be done and what did they receive a fresh outpouring so you can be filled and refilled and that's what this is all about we're getting ready to be refilled it's it's symbolic because you could be refilled every day but it's symbolic it's it's something that we're learning as we move toward chavo wonderful wonderful gathering that that day and evening we're coming on Shabbat and when the Sun Goes Down it becomes Shavuot we're expecting a really powerful move of the Spirit we're expecting people to be filled and refilled amen amen you don't have to wait for that you can be filled and refilled today before you leave but we're we're teaching you lessons from the tour as it relates to counting the Omer amen
