9mm or 40?

so what's going on YouTube so you've seen the big debate forty or nine-millimeter for self-defense which one is better today we're going to do some some quick little easy testing find out give you an idea of which one's got the better knockdown which one doesn't what we're shooting we have an mp40 sauron's b6p both of them are full-size weapons both of them have basically same size length barrels the one thing that the nine-millimeter does have over the 40 caliber is round count this gun is 15 plus one this is going to seventeen plus one we're going to do some power testing we're going to see what kind of knockdown we can get stick around we got it coming up so let's take a test shall we we're going to label one of the guns whether it be the 40 or the 9-millimeter gun 8 and just the opposite on the other one gun be and then will expose the damage and you guys can decide which one you think is what but we have gun a this being gun a and this one being gun B and then we'll look at them we'll compare and find out which one you think is what so here's our two melons guys this one being gun a this one being gun B they're gonna a and B will always stay the same only take one shot a will always come first and B will come after but let's check out the damages this cantaloupe it's tore up pretty good it's pretty loose - all busted up on the inside about this cantaloupe it ain't busted up is good both of them are dead center shots both of them look good but a actually has the upper hand I think a did quite a bit more damage to the melon all right now let's do another test if you got your answer yet can you decide which one it is which one's the 14 which one's the 9 it may surprise you so here we are again guys and we're going to put it on a piece of plywood see which one does more damage Eric again which gun is 8 which go does B now depending on the damages you seen the cantaloupes let's do the plywood and we'll find out how it goes so the first one up is gun a and we'll shoot about the upper 2/3 and then you have gun B so here we are on the plywood guys and this would be good eh and this would be gun B which one's 9 and which ones 40 we got another test we're going to run and we'll find out how that one works too and then we can take the three kind of talk about them and find out what you guys think is better 9 or 40 so how about just straight-up sheer knock down power again we'll take gun a we'll put 2 in it and then we'll take gun B and put 2 in it now gun a has always stayed the same and gun B has always stayed the same so throughout our little test here you can make your own opinion just being gun a we give it one more pretty solid had pretty good knockdown power now let's try gonna be we'll give it one more on this one so what'd you guys think on the recoil of the plate which one was nine which one was 40 so we got one more test for you want one more showing of power or strength if you will but let's go over a few things with it you got nine verse forty which is better for self defense and forty caliber yeah you're going to have a little bit more knockdown but you're going to have less round count concealability doesn't really matter Glock 26 27 is the same size you can carry nine or forty subcompact up close is bigger better absolutely you get a lot more power you get a lot more punch but again 9-millimeter is deadly guy you get you shot on spot and you're going to be just as deadly with it as you would the forty or 22 can be very very dangerous weapon again we got one more test for you and we'll take the first one gun a and gun B but have you made your mind up yet do you know what's what which one's the forty which one's the nine so this will be the final test guys gun a coming up we've got two jugs in front of you full water let's see which one of them does the most damage gun a shooting at the one on the left first gonna be shooting at the one on the right so are you have it guys you got gun a and going to be obviously going to be do a little more damage now do you want to know what's what so nine-millimeter versus forty what do you think guys on your top row you have gun a your jug damage your melon damage and this being gonna be your jug damage your melon damage so now what was what gun a was the nine-millimeter and gun B was the forty cow again guys in my opinion it all comes down to personal preference and whatever just makes you happy whatever you feel reliable with again practice time nine-millimeter is going to be cheaper recoil 9-millimeter is going to be lighter knockdown for DS got it complete destruction forties got it too but again guys they are comparable on the average nine-millimeter moving at about twelve hundred and fifty velocity the forty running at about a thousand shooting 115 green nine-millimeter in 180 green forty they had quite a bit of difference there in slug size guys again this has been our little comparison but from the first one to the last one which one did you think what did you think a was the nine Herbie was the nine are a was the forty and B was the forty either way they both done a fine job now we appreciate you guys watching if you would drop us a like give us a sub we'll see you next time
