I can't believe she was going to throw these out [Music] you that week hello everybody silver picker here and today I have an awesome little coin haul to show you I just bought a little coin collection from this lady who believe it or not was actually going to throw these coins away she thought that these coins were so worthless that they belonged in the garbage seriously not even bring them to the bank she was ready to throw them out she was going to move and she was going to toss them so I just picked this collection up for pretty dirt cheap I think a hundred dollars exactly for everything you see here I got a phenomenal deal and I'm really really happy with it I haven't even gone through everything yet but I saw a whole bunch of the stuff that is in there and I am super happy with it including one coin that I've always wanted to get and have never seen in the while before so why don't I sort through all this show you what I got and see how I made out feast your eyes on this this is amazing like you heard at the beginning of the video the lady that I bought this from was going to throw these in the trash now let me back up a second I'll tell you how I got this so I got a phone call from a lady that was referred to me and she says that she found these coins in her house they were her mother-in-law's and she wasn't really sure that they're worth anything but if I wanted to I could come take a look at them now as I'm looking through them she tells me well is there anything in there or should I just throw them out and so what do mean throw them at you yeah I was just going to throw these out if I didn't hear a value I said throw them away I said this is some some really good stuff anyway end up offering her a hundred bucks for everything here I mean that's pretty awesome that's a great deal for her and a great deal for me great so for her considering she was literally like I said going to throw them in the trash all right climb aboard we've got a world tour right over here we've got the US coins that I'm going to show you at the end of the video because there's one that I really really like and over here we've got Italy silver France silver we've got silver from the Netherlands we've got silver from the UK and Canada silver from Israel and we've got tons and tons of non silver coins as well we've got Germany from its various eras we've got coppers from Canada and from the UK we've got Swiss coins we've got Netherlands coins we've got Belgian World War 2 era coins we have French World War two error coins and we even have some Italian World War two error coins so here we have some coins from Western Europe that are all silver now the top row over here are all coins from the Netherlands we have ten cents 25 cents one golden and two and a half golden now the interesting thing about these is that the two lower denominations are composed of 64 percent silver while the higher denomination ones are composed of 72 percent silver that's pretty unusual for the same country to have different compositions of silver from coins from the same era now over here this is one of my favorite foreign silver coins this is a five francs from 1960 a beautiful silver coin isn't that gorgeous it's got some edge lettering really phenomenal piece I love these coins I've had a bunch of it and I've sold a bunch of them over the years too now this Italian coin is one that I've never had before but I absolutely love it it is gorgeous take a look at that now for any of you really perceptive Watchers did you guys notice anything interesting about this coin take a look again anything well I'll tell you there's no date on it isn't that interesting well to the untrained eye there's no date however if you take a look on the rim you'll see this coin is also from 1960 what a gorgeous gorgeous coin now this silver coin from Italy and this silver coin from France actually both are composed of 83 and a half percent silver and they both contain about a third of an ounce of silver similar to this golden which is much bigger in size but because it's lower silver content actually contains about as much solar as these two really really nice coins these ones actually will all be for sale so if you're interested hit me up alright now we have some British and Canadian coins over here we've got two British silvers one from 1928 one from 1939 now both of these are 50 percent silver that one thing I don't love about the British silver coins you got to go way way back in order to get the ninety two and a half percent or sterling silver coins over here are some large pennies and halfpennies these coppers are some of my favorite coins I don't know why I'm just drawn to them this one's from 1913 and this one's from 1937 this hat penny is from 1930 over here we have some Canadian coins we have a Canadian dime from 1906 which is indeed ninety two and a half percent or sterling silver so I'm really happy about that we've got a large British cent I barely ever get these and I love them I mean look at this there's just something about it that I love look at that it's just so simple I think what do you guys think love it I also got this small sent in insanely good condition I mean coming out of a bag like that to be still a little bit red that's nice 1936 now moving on to the Israeli coins Israeli silver coins are some of my absolute favorite coins minted in the entire world and the reason is obvious they are gorgeous coins with beautiful designs they have unique features and extremely high silver content they are a fantastic coin for collectors and investors alike seriously I can't recommend them enough now I have a few different types of coins within this set and I'll show you all of them and explain to you there are features and what they represent now these three coins here our anniversary coins of the founding of the State of Israel Israel was found in 1948 so this coin from 1960 is a 12th anniversary coin from 60 to a 14th anniversary and from 64 16th anniversary now each of these are five lira coins before Israel adopted the new shekel which is the currency it uses today it used the lira now these were five lira coins each and they're commemoratives of course this one depicts Theodore Herzl the father of the Zionist movement this one depicts the development of the Negev desert in the south of Israel and this one depict the Israel Museum the State Museum of Israel gorgeous coins now now the interesting thing about these coins is that they have a very unique feature believe it or not they each are concave on both sides meaning both sides are almost like a bowl or a contact lens now it will be very difficult for you to detect on camera but if you can see that it's not a flat coin both sides are concave like a bowl you can pour some water on this and it would hold it it's pretty strange but I think it's a beautiful feature and it makes for a very unique coin in your collection now what about this coin this coin is also a commemoration of the anniversary of the State of Israel but it's a little different than these three now the reason this is different is because well it's not a coin at all actually it's a metal now this metal commemorates the 13th anniversary of the State of Israel the reason why it's significant and has the imagery that it does is because in the Jewish faith at 13 years old a boy becomes bar Mitzvahed now in part mitzvah is a religious ceremony that confers manhood on to the boy and it's an important milestone in the Jewish tradition so when Israel turns 13 this medal was minted to commemorate that milestone it is an absolutely beautiful coin and if any of you remember in a previous video where I bought a lot of Israeli commemorative coins you can check it out right here I actually got the gold version of this so now I have the gold and the silver version so this will definitely go into my private collection the reverse is absolutely stunning I love the design of this it is the Jewish crest in the middle with the symbols of the twelve tribes surrounding it and it says Bar Mitzvah of the State of Israel in English and in Hebrew what a spectacular metal one interesting quirk of this coin and it's tough to see on camera but it actually says sterling but 935 on the rim very interesting when they put it but hey that's how it goes now this coin is also very interesting this coin was minted both as a business strike coin and also as a commemorative this version is the silver commemorative and right now it's also set in a sterling keychain this is a 250 pratap coin and i don't love this one that's the truth for this coin i'm not a huge fan of it but it is kind of cool i may actually use this for my key ring because it's kind of cool but it's not my favorite israeli coin that's that's the truth you know that's just how it goes some coins you're going to love from a series and some are just not going to do it for you this one happens to be one that just doesn't do it for me but that's okay I'm happy with it Hey silver silver right now these three are not silver coins and I'm not going to hold on to them just because that's not what I'm into even though they are beautiful coins these two represent the Hanukkah holiday and this one is simply a half lira coin with a facsimile of an ancient Israeli coin on the reverse and that does it for the Israeli coins alright and now here we are to the final portion of the video we are up to the American coins everybody's favorite now I'm going to go through them and show you what I got and tell you what I particularly liked now you know I always love silver dollars I am always having to get a couple more Morgan's or peace dollars to add to my collection so these are nothing special but hey you add them to the stack that's another couple ounces of silver not too bad at all now over here we have six forty percent silver kennedy has now for those of you who don't know between 1965 and 1970 all kennedy half dollars were minted with a composition of 40 percent silver these are I think a great investment a great opportunity because a lot of people are not into them right now and you can get them with little to no premium so look out for those now over here we have some lower denomination US coins we have an 1896 Indian Head cent in 1894 Liberty V nickel a wheat cent a Roosevelt dime silver and over here really interesting a token for the Philadelphia transit system very nice and for our last two Silver's we have a Franklin half and the piece de resistance the Booker T Washington commemorative half-dollar from 1946 this is the coin I was talking about earlier in the video that I've always wanted to find but never have seen in the wild now if you didn't notice I am a huge fan of the classic commemorative hat I don't have that many but I really love them I think they are so cool and such an interesting part of history it was minted over a few years with varying mintages this is one of the more common ones with around 50,000 pieces minted even so I am absolutely ecstatic over this Booker T Washington pass I just love that simplistic design on the reverse Booker T Washington birthplace Memorial from slave cabin to Hall of Fame what a great coin and I am so excited to add this to my collection really really excited you know what I'm even thinking of getting a dance Co the commemorative has the classic commemorative has like this what do you guys think do you guys collect commemorative has I'd love to see your collections shoot me a link to your video if you have one anyway that's the last of the u.s. coins that I'm going to show in this lot and men and I please alright well that is a wrap I am so so pleased with this set this collection of coins that I bought could not have been any better I mean the fact that this lady again I know I said it before but the fact that this lady was going to throw these coins in the trash so paying her a hundred bucks was like the best thing to happen to her all day and the fact that I got to spend only a hundred bucks on this was phenomenal win-win to the nth degree I am so wanted to get a shot of it and show with you guys it says do you ever get the feeling the whole world is trying to get your money and there's only you to keep it from them open a savings account and
