guys I'm looking at this wheat penny right here and it has got a really really nice patina on it it's almost like a rainbow just a really nice looking coin so I'm hoping for something good on this one guys it's go ahead and flip this one over and see what we have in three two one oh look at that guys hello everybody and welcome back to coin quest so guys I picked up this box of pennies right here a couple days ago from my bank and I gotta say I'm super excited to look into this one because right off the bat I've opened up the box and I've already found three wheat penny Enders what is a wheat penny ender I'm glad you asked let's take a look so right here we have three rolls of pennies that I pulled out of the box if you take a look at this end you see pretty standard looking pennies nothing really special going on but if we flip over to the other side each one of these rolls has something special about it and as you can see here we have a wheat penny reverse right there if we penny obverse right there and then a second wheat penny reverse what does a wheat penny well those are the pennies that were made from 1909 up through 1958 these are typically the coins that we are looking for of course I'd love to find an Indian Head Penny which was made prior to 1909 but those don't come up very often so for the time being we're gonna go for these 1909 through 1958 wheat pennies and already we found three of them on the box and that is a good sign guys I'm super excited to get into these rolls so without any further ado let's go ahead and jump into these first ones live all right guys so I think I'm going to open these in the same order that I showed them we'll start with the first reverse under here and open it up here and see what we're gonna get on that date and also interested to see here if we're gonna get any other wheat pennies in the roll so I'll see if I can try to grab this one off the top without disturbing any of the other coins there we go oh it kind of spilled out on me there but there we go guys we have the reverse wheat penny right there let's go ahead and flip this over and see what we have for a date on this coin and see if we're gonna get it into one of those collections three two one all right so it's a little bit old but it is unfortunately very common the 1944 is a pretty common wheat penny it comes off quite a bit so we'll put that one to the side for now I think I'm gonna dropped a couple coins on myself so I'll go ahead and grab those and then we'll get through the rest of this roll and see if we're gonna get anything else and guys right off the bat I'm already seeing another wheat penny right there with a 1967 next to it which almost made it into the wheat range as well so let's go ahead and take a look at this one fortunately it is a reverse as well so we'll go ahead and flip this one over to find find out what we're gonna get for a date here in three two one okay so we get a 1955 Denver so yet again another fairly common wheat penny there we do already have that one in the collection so we're gonna put that one to the side as well guys we are off to a great start though a two wheat roll already and that we have two more that have wheat pennies on the ends so hopefully we're gonna get a whole bunch today but it looks like guys I think that's about it for that rule anyway we'll go ahead and push those to the side and I get into that a little bit later let's go ahead and open this 1951 Denver Denver 1951 Denver Ender which we can see is a pretty clear date right there so we'll go ahead and rip into this one and hopefully we can get another two wheat penne roll all right so let's go ahead and open this one up let's see if we can grab that coin off at the top of there once again and let the roll down so there you have it guys you already know the date on that one it's a 1951 denver some really nice patina on that I love that darker look and then we'll go ahead and flip over to the back side to see how that backside is looking as well it's a little bit beat up I see some little looks like two marks on the edges there definitely some damage on that coin but a very cool looking point so I will definitely take it we are up to three wheat pennies already in two rolls alright so let's open up the rest of this roll and go through here real briefly just to see if there's anything else and right off the bat guys I'm seeing a two thousand nine right there you can see that on our placemat as well this is gonna be the third in the series and it's gonna be the professional life so let's flip this one over and see what we get for a date obviously it's a 2009 and it looks like it's going to be a Philadelphia alright so we definitely keep those those are a low mintage coin that you want to look out for while you're doing your hunting or just looking for coins in your change okay so let's see if we're gonna get any more wheat pennies out of here I'm not seeing anything okay this looks like it might be older huh for a second there guys I don't know why but I thought I might have an Indian head on that one I think it was just the way that it looked a little bit darker it just ended up being a 1981 ma alright so guys I think at the end of this one it looks like we're not going to be getting a second we penny or Indian Head or anything like that out of it we do have one more mystery coin right here it's this reverse wheat penny ender so let's go ahead and open this one up and see if we're gonna get a little bit of an older date here I'm hoping for something pre 40s maybe a 1955 s or something like that that's a little bit harder to find so let's go ahead and grab that one off the end there it's looking really nice and it looks like we got a nice copper coin under it as well so we'll put the rest of the rolled down and let's go ahead and reveal this date now three two one okay another 1951 Denver for us so that is for common wheat pennies right there but guys I will gladly take that I think that there's gonna be a ton more coming in this box just based on those three wheat pennies on the end is on the ends there so let's take a look at that copper coin that was laying underneath it oh it's not actually a copper coin it's in 1989 Denver so the the patina on that coin definitely fooled me but let's go ahead and go through the rest of this and see if we're gonna get ooh look at that guys that is a nice find right there this is actually a Canadian penny and it's the centennial year in 1867 1967 we actually count those if you follow our corner off any competitions we count those as a point value so they're definitely something that we want to find the weird thing about this one though yeah if I'm seeing it now it was stuck to another coin with whatever that is so that's a little bit nasty I'm hoping I can get that off using something that isn't gonna be totally gross so we'll put that one to the side anyway that's a five-point coin right there and definitely a fun one to find let's see if we're gonna get anything else out of this roll this one looks like it's been in the ground definitely a zinc penny because you can see all the zinc Rock on it we got another one that's got a little bit of rot on there and then it looks like we have another Canadian coin but I think that's about it for that roll so let's see what we have for the Canadian here it looks like it's gonna be a 1984 Canadian so definitely like finding the Canadians especially the older ones so we'll go ahead and get into the rest of these rolls now and I will turn the camera back on once I find something good alright so right away guys I noticed that I missed a coin while I was going fast through that first three rolls it looks like we have another 2009 professional life here let's go ahead and flip this one over and see if we're gonna get a philadelphia or a denver on this one three - one all right so it's gonna be another Philadelphia so we'll put that one to the side as well I'm gonna go through these real briefly just to make sure I didn't miss any more 2009's or anything crazy and then we'll go ahead and get on to the next one and I'll let you know what I'm finding all right so the next role didn't have anything in it but this one had a near ender if you take a look over here it was just the second coin in and I haven't looked at any of these other coins yet but this one right here we can see is gonna be a 1946 Philadelphia and we'll flip it over to the other side just for kicks you can see it's quite worn there you can still see some of those wheat stocks but it is a pretty warm down coin and again I'm just happy to have that a lot of wheat pennies showing up very early for us which I'm very happy about so let's go ahead and go through the rest of this roll while we have the camera on and see if we're gonna get any more wheat pennies in this roll or any 2009's anything that we tend to keep would be nice to see so let's go ahead and see if we're going to get anything here I see a 1960 Denver I believe we're still looking for the 1960 small date on either the denver at the philadelphia but that one looks like it's gonna be a large date for us there so all right guys I don't see any more wheat pennies here or anything interesting so we'll go ahead and get into the next one and I'll let you know what I'm finding all right so it looks like we're gonna get lucky in the very next roll take a look at this I was seeing this edge and I was saying that is definitely going to be older again we have an adverse right here showing for us 1944 and once again that is one of the most common wheat pennies but I'm still happy to have it of course let's see if we're gonna get any more wheat pennies here there's just so many now that looks like one right there guys if I've ever seen one take a look at that coin let's pull this back and see if we got one ah so so close 1962 Denver just three years off there but guys I think that's about it we just got another 62 Denver right there and a 69 Denver right there so I'll go through this again but it looks like that's gonna be it for that roll we'll go ahead and get on to the next one all right so we're a couple rules later now and this one definitely looks like it's gonna be an interesting role for starters we have over here the second coin in was a Canadian it's gonna be in the 1997 so we'll take that one out for sure and then I think I saw a wheat penny over here and I think I might have seen another one over here as well so we'll take a look at this one first it's going to be a reverse so we're gonna flip this one over and see we have for a date thing three two one all right so 1952 Denver taking a look at the book it looks like we already have the 52 Denver as well although that is a first on the box for us so let's go through the rest of this I think there's gonna be another Canadian right there and we've got a 1984 this time around getting a little bit close to that 1988 which we are still looking out for and then I think there might be another week petty but I guess I'm not sure anymore I thought I saw one but I might have just been looking at the same one twice and I think that's probably what it was but it looks like we do have a Canadian here so let's see if we're gonna get lucky with the 88 on this one oh look at that guys we can just get our second bird sent also with some weird crap on the front of it as well that's kind of weird to see I guess this would be considered the back because the side but the head would be the obverse and then we have the reverse here but still I mean that's two in a box so far so I'm definitely happy about that it's just kind of weird to see them come out with so much crap on them but anyways guys I think that's gonna be it for that roll we got three Canadians and a single we penny definitely a good roll we'll go ahead and get in on the next one and hopefully we can actually up our game and find something a little bit older that's gonna go into the collection alright so smack-dab in the middle of the very next roll I am seeing the letters G eeo which I know is gonna spell out George that's gonna be for King George I don't know if it's the sixth or the fifth yet it would be super cool if we got a king george v canadian penny i'm gonna go ahead and pull this back and see what we're gonna get on it and it looks like it's gonna be a king george the sixth now as you know guys if you watch my most recent video i just recently found a couple of these that actually ended up going into the collection so we don't need a whole lot of them anymore at this point i'll go ahead and show you the canadian collection in a second here once we find out the date on this coin but these are not easy to find and actually the canadian penny was discontinued in 2012 so these are definitely cool to be finding in the american change out here so let's go ahead and flip this one over and see what we're gonna get for a day here guys three two one look at that guys we have gotten this coin probably more than any other King George that has come out it is the 1947 maple leaf so there's actually two different kinds of 1947 one has a maple leaf and one does not and you can see that little tiny splotched there underneath the seven that's the little maple leaf and that one's actually come out quite a bit more than the the plain one for us so I don't know it's it's it's pretty cool I like to have them but like I said this one we found quite a few times I like the little maple leaf though I don't see that on any other coin so I'm definitely happy to have that one and of course as always any King and King George the sixth is is welcome in my box of pennies so alright let's go ahead and take a look at the rest of these cones let's see if we're gonna get anything else out of here just looking at the rest of this roll I don't think we're going to so I think what that Ben said we'll go ahead and get on to the next one but guys before we get out of the next one I wanted to give you another look at the Canadian collection so those King George the sixes start in 1937 unfortunately I haven't been able to find any of the 1930s and as you can see up here I haven't been able to find any of the King George the fits but we are still looking out for that forty one forty eight and forty four so we got kind of close with the 47 Maple Leaf which you can see right there in the collection okay so about three rolls later now and once again with the coins one from the end this one would have been and Endor if it was just one more coin over and once again we're gonna have in hoppers here 1952 Denver is the date now guys a lot of these coins look really beat-up I don't know what it is it seems like these have been in circulation for a long time they've definitely been through a lot of people's hands to get that beat up but I guess that's the third six it looks like our eighth we penny on the box so far we're not even halfway through yet so I'm definitely happy about that and I think we may actually have some opportunities for more in this role because I'm seeing quite a bit of copper all along the edge over here so let's see if we're gonna get another one over here and it looks like we are take a look at that guy's we just that one just apparently made it to 1958 and we'll go ahead and flip that one over the backside and it looks like we still have a little bit of patina a little bit of luster left on that coin just a little tiny bit very very nice condition on that 1958 and sometimes you do find the 58 in good condition because they're the youngest of the wheat penny that you have available so there we go guys we got two on the roll already let's see if we can make this a three wheat penny roll I'm already seeing a Canadian right there and right next to that Canadian is gonna be a wheat penny so we'll go ahead and take a look at this Canadian first just to see if we get that 88 nope so it's gonna be an 82 and there's our wheat penny what a nice roll to the film here guys this one is looking a little bit rough as well but if this is on par for the other ones that have been in the box this will probably be a forties or fifties so let's go ahead and flip this one over and find out in three two one alright so once again another nineteen forty four that's our third on the box so far brings us up to I believe ten wheat pennies though that's definitely cool to see let's go ahead and get through the rest here and it looks like that is going to be it so three wheat pennies on the box or three wheat pennies on a roll excuse me that's a new record for the box let's see if we can beat that one in the next one and go for four okay so we're at exactly the halfway point in the box now and I'm seeing a nice older Canadian over here on this left side and it looks like it may actually be right next to another nice older Canadian so we'll go ahead and take a look at both of these coins at the same time we definitely have something at least in the 80s on that other side so first of all we have a young head right here which is going to be from 1953 up through 1964 like I showed you earlier we do still need some of those in the book let's pull this one aside and see what we have in the back of it Wow look at that guys another young head so this one is going to be a 1963 it's a fairly common date for the young head we'll put that one to the side and let's see what this one's gonna be here guys three two one another 1963 but hey we'll take you guys that is a nice little fine right there too right next to each other and those are actually the first two that came out of a box so what are the chances of that but anyways we'll go ahead and go through the rest of these I was kind of hoping for a King George next to it there but I'll definitely take another young head anyway alright so let's see if we're gonna get any more here seeing a bunch of coins that may have potential but it looks like we're not going to get anything out of that just going through a super super quick here I'll go through the rest of these off-camera to make sure I didn't miss any but with that being said let's go ahead and get into the next one all right so what do you know as luck would have it the very very next roll ended up having another young head Canadian in it and it looks like we may have something older over here nope just a 67 I know we have another Canadian over on that side though so we're gonna take a look at that in just a second here but we have once again another young head Canadian here I think we're looking for the 56 and that's the only one that we actually have a chance of finding that we still need in the collection let's see if we're gonna get it guys three two one and it's a 64 which is the most common young head to find but hey we'll take it for sure definitely not going to throw that one back all right we got another Canadian right here this one's probably gonna be 70s let's go and flip it over and see if we get it yup 71 as as predicted so all right let's go ahead and see if we have any any week paintings anything older and the rest of these rolls here it looks like we have a couple chances right here nope that's the 67 that we already identified earlier okay so I think that's it for that row guys we'll go ahead and get into the next one okay so I've been on kind of a dry streak here we have about 16 more rolls to go in the box and I finally just hit something really great another King George the sixth now we've only found three young head so far in a single King George the sixth if we match the number of young heads to the number of King George the six by the end of this video I will do a back flip but look at this guy's we just got another King George the six with the obverse showing so we'll go ahead and flip this over and find out what the date is in three two one ooh look at that guy's 1943 copper right there if you remember last video which was a little bit of a disaster by the way and I do apologize for what happened in that little coin cleaning video that we did we were able to get the 1943 and it had this weird gunk on it that we were able to get off by just soaking it in water and using a toothpick to kind of pick at it but there is still quite a bit of glue left on this coin so what I think I'm gonna do is actually replace the 1943 which we found last video with the one that we just got because this one as you can see doesn't have any glue on it and it's a nice looking coin actually so definitely a cool one to find right there 1943 copper would be an amazing coin to find if you found in the American Penny's because as many of you know 1943 was the year that we made our pennies out of steel so if you find a four to three copper it's a very rare and valuable error all right so I've had a bit of a dry streak in the last ten rolls I was able to find a couple things namely this formative years 2009 right here which I'm actually pretty excited about because that means that we found all four in this series which you can see down here in the 2009 series we got every single one out of this box with that one being found and then we also got another wheat cent right there this one's just going to end up being a 1956 in Denver so nothing super special there but I'll go ahead and put those ones to the side because we have a reverse ender here finally well it's actually not an ender it was about a third of the way through the roll but I am excited to see what this one is because I'm really hoping that we can finally get one end of the collection and this one is looking like it could be a little bit of older and in pretty good shape so let's see what we got guys three two one oh it's not very old guys unfortunately just a 1954 Denver so the thing I've noticed about this box there are a lot of coins in this box like a lot there's a lot of really good wheat pennies we've got some really good older stuff and I definitely appreciate the the older Canadians but as far as the wheat pennies go they've been every single one of them that we found has been common either from the 40s or the 50s so I'm not really sure what's going on with this box and I'd like to know your guys's opinion on this as well whether you would like to find a ton of coins from the 40s or 50s or if you'd like to get that single coin from the 1910s or the 1920s me personally I think I'd rather go with a coin from the 1910s even if it meant that I wasn't gonna get any other wheat pennies in the box because that's kind of what I look for and what I get excited about now don't get me wrong guys like I said the King George's definitely get me excited as well and I love to find them but I don't know all of these common wheat pennies it kind of gets kind of feels like a like a drag in a way I definitely like to find something a little bit cooler than you know forties and fifties which just come out all the time so I think it kind of it gives you a little bit more of a like a deeper truth about hunting pennies so what I've found with hunting pennies is that it's easy to find stuff you you find stuff all day if you're looking for wheat pennies you're gonna find and if you're looking for 2009's you're gonna find those too but it's not easy to find the good stuff and that's what we're looking for now this one right here is just super been tough you can see the bend on that one but I am actually seeing a wheat penny right here like we were talking about earlier for a second there I thought it was a forty three copper but it's just a 1945 which once again is one of those very common wheat pennies from the 40s or 50s and a lot of these ones are beat up as well so I don't really know what's going on with this box all right so those last couple rolls went by really quick we were able to get a couple of 2009's out of them this one the presidency here once again is going to be a Philadelphia Mint and then we got another one of those professional life as well so I'll put those to the side for now guys I'm looking at this wheat penny right here and it has got a really really nice patina on it I just love the color on this coin take a look here it's almost like a rainbow if you I don't know if I showing up on the camera very well but just a really nice looking coin so I'm hoping for something good on this one guys let's go ahead and flip this one over and see what we have in three two one oh look at that guys actually we do need the 1951 I just remembered that we do need that in the collection we found the 51 Denver over and over again today but we do need that 1951 plain sorry about the camera cutting out of focus there but take a look at this we actually do need that one in the collection right there 1951 and that is gonna save this box because obviously you guys we're getting a ton like I was saying we're getting a ton of really nice coins but I was really hoping for one to go into the collection and we just got it right there 1951 alright so it looks like the second-to-last roll was a bust we still have hope for this last roll though but like I said guys icing on the cake anything that comes out of here I'm gonna say I'm hoping for a king another king george v that would really round out the box nicely I think to get three King George's on a box like we did in the last one that's always fun I love fighting those coins and I've been finding tons of them recently all right so we got a Canadian right here and it's gonna be a 1991 so very close to that 1988 that we're still looking for but not gonna get at that time and we're coming down to the end of this roll now not really seeing anything there's some chances over here though I see it look what looks like a Canadian coin you see that right there oh it's just gonna be a 1980 though it's not gonna be very hold so we'll pull that one out the 1980 right there we have a nice big pile of Canadians over there which I'll show you at the end which is coming right now so guys that is the end of the box we'll go ahead and get into the wrap-up and we'll see what we were able to find today all right guys welcome to the wrap-up of box number 21 we'll go ahead and start up here with the wheat sense from the 40s and 50s and as you guys know we got a ton of these 14 in total we got three 44 45 46 I think 351 Denver is a couple 52 Denver's 54 55 56 Denver's and alone 58 over there that's gonna give us 70 points on the box five points apiece now coming down here we didn't really get anything else in the list until you come down to the 2009 so we got a whole bunch of those actually way more than I normally get and as you can see there we got to birth an early childhood one formative years a whole bunch of professional life and then a couple of presidencies right there now that's gonna give us 11 more points and now we're coming down to the additional Canadian score sheet so if we take a look at the young heads from 53 up through 64 we got three of those two of them were 60 3s and one was 64 so they're pretty common but that's gonna give us 15 more points now coming over here to King George the sixes we actually got two of those in today's box which is great and one of them was a 43 and the other one was a 47 maple leaf as you saw earlier those are worth 10 points apiece so that's gonna add 20 more points and then here we had the bird since 1967 we found a couple of those really early in the box and those are gonna give us five more points each giving us a total of ten points on those now I want to show you over here this is our pile of Canadians which don't really count for anything but I do keep all of the Canadians I find I just wanted to point that out and then coming up here to probably the best find on the box at least in my opinion was this 1951 plane which we finally were able to fill in into the collection and as you can see this this page is almost completely full now these coins down here could be filled in with anything I asked you guys to give me suggestions but I didn't get a whole lot in that video so if you want to suggest what I should put in these little slots right here which could basically be filled with anything because it's just extra space in the collection let me know down in the comments below what you think I should put there and then what it looks like we only have six more coins left on this page other than those three so this one right here and those ones up there but guys totaling this box up we got a total of a hundred and thirty-one points which guys on paper that looks really good unfortunately I don't feel like it was as good of a box as a box where I'm finding tons of really cool stuff like I don't know like I was saying the tens of the 20s and the 30s it's been such a long time since I've found that and I'd like I said I appreciate finding all of these 40s and 50s and of course I love finding the King George's but as you can see it is getting really really difficult to fill up this collection with coins so I don't know I think I might have to try a new bank because I'm really really lacking in the 10s 20s and 30s area in this book even though there are some coins that are definitely attainable I'm just having a really hard time finding them so guys all in all we had a really nice spread here lots of really cool coins 131 points is definitely nothing to laugh at and I'm super happy to be getting that coin into the collection right there because I've been looking for that one for a long time so guys as always if you want to pick up one of these corner while hunting placemats to aid you in your own penny roll
