[Music] these stores are scattered all over seoul and cu is the biggest one this looks good some lunch boxes cheesy corn this is some sort of tuna rice heck yeah whoa i don't know what this is but it looks meaty it looks spicy a couple string cheese for the ramen i don't know what this is but it says it's number one sure love love love gotcha oh my love cream spicy pasta all right just got back home took a shower let's eat this is the stuff i got from cu and these are things i never tried before i'm so excited to especially look at this chili ramen let's start with that at least from the picture this looks incredible noodles sauce pack dry veggies chili oil i think this one is pretty self-explanatory add the noodle sauce pack veg chili oil and while we're waiting for that to cook i got two of these uh crushless queen filled bread strawberry and i think this is just milk cream this tastes like really milky whipped cream filled bread without the crush i wish i could dip this in something i feel like a sweet dipping sauce where a syrup will make this even better not bad that's a strawberry one this is way way better first of all there's so much more cream in these little breads and the strawberry tastes more like a marshmallow cream than just simple cream yeah this is delicious i got this because it said number one right here but then i also wanted strawberry maybe this number one should go over here my water's ready so i did make a mistake you're supposed to uh soak the noodles in hot water for about 30 seconds i kind of put the sauce on already so i wasted a little bit of the sauce which is a shame then loosen the noodles and microwave [Music] put them back in here mix it up with the sauce oh oh wow ah i did not expect this to be the spicy and i just took a little bit of a scallion too the wall oh this thing has pure heat this is definitely the spiciest instant noodle i've ever got from a convenience store here it's good though it's a little tomatoey but like i said just pure unstoppable heat i need to do something to this string cheese when i first came to the u.s and i saw kids eating this at lunch i thought i was chicken and i was jealous then i finally got one and i was like what something tastes like chicken toss it in gonna throw this back in the microwave for about 20 more seconds also because the noodle is so good it deserves an egg you can get either roast eggs or marinated eggs or soft boiled eggs at any convenience store never tried one of these roasted baked eggs before now that all my cheese is melted in as well now that's perfect the cheese and egg gives you a little balance towards that unrelenting heat makes this taste even better just be careful when you guys get this i recommend it but be warned you're probably going to get burnt all right next up mala cream spicy pasta never tried this before and i think i'm gonna pair that up with some intestines [Music] [Music] first is mala cream spicy noodle this is delicious i wish i had a little less water i did exactly what the directions said i added water to the lime if i added less water this would be even more creamy i think it would have been even better but the noodles are chewy it's creamy and spicy it's nummy definitely lives up to the mala in the name and i'm gonna chase it with some of this stuff large intestines as soon as i cook this you smell the fungus a little funky that's good these are perfect compliments to each other also some rice cakes here rice cakes aren't that good this is freaking phenomenal though this is so spicy as well and the intestines it may smell a little funky the taste is absolutely perfect and i don't even know where the mala is coming from i think both of these dishes may be mild because my tongue right now feels like it's been tasered i think this is definitely spicier eat some of that chase it with the pasta the creaminess kind of gives you a little illusion into thinking the heat has died down a little bit it has not first three dishes i tried today amazing spicy dishes you can get at a convenience store and these two just absolutely perfect combination i'm gonna drink watermelon 80. oh that's good next up a little break from the noodles ins from the spices wow oh his tongue is still on fire this is really interesting i saw this i think this is tuna rice i like tuna i like rice so inside a pack of cooked white rice a can of tuna sauce sauce sauce and a spork [Music] [Music] i can help my own frustration [Music] cause i fake it i think i think i like it [Music] oh that is sweet that's too sweet for me otherwise the flavor is really good but if the sweetness can be toned down by 90 percent this would be pretty amazing but right now it just tastes like a mayoe tuna rice pudding it's kind of a shame because the nori works so well the flavor is nice i love the chunks of tuna it's still really sweet all right last crumble to try we're going back to spicy noodles and corn cheese grated cheesy corn [Music] [Music] one thing i love about this country their willingness to put cheese on pretty much everything and it works out amazingly so and cheesy corn it's just one of the many dishes i love pasta seem really really simple it's kind of soupy oh it's not bad a little sour spicy this is unbelievable i feel like when you're eating spicy noodles you should always have this on the side this at first glance didn't look all that impressive but the flavor is very nice it's very spicy not as intense as the previous couple of noodles i've had the pasta itself is pretty chewy the soup just has a really nice flavor i like it's kind of like a thin spicy tomato soup and then you chase that with a cheesy corn [Music] sweet delicious corn with mayo and cheese completely offsets the heat almost like a spicy palette cleanser and then dive right back into the noodles i feel like i found some really good spice and delicious this time only thing i didn't really like was the sweetness of the tuna rice otherwise everything i got today it may hurt you a little but it's a good kind of pain so today i'm not really going to go out i'm going to finish this and then go back to the convenience stores and see what we can find for dinner [Music] soft boiled eggs a few moments later all right gender time let's start with this this looks good [Music] so this one is pretty easy two packs of sauce one chili sauce one filled with kimchi and pork and then water goes in and in the microwave for two and a half minutes while we're waiting for that tuna and egg sandwich this is a three layer combo i thought it was just a tuna and egg sandwich but this is a tuna and egg and potato salad sandwich that's the best all three worlds and there's corn in here i really like dish the only way they could have made this better hard-boiled egg in the middle if this could have been like a soft-boiled egg this would have been amazing it was pretty good you get a crunch from the veggies inside the potato salad and the tuna salad some radish and carrots tuna's flavorful i'm just gonna eat the middle and then use the outside to dip it in things this ramen's got tons of good ingredients giant chunks of tofu lips big chunks of meat the broth looks nice wow this is extreme spicy and extreme heat it's a kimchi broth so it's sour it's spicy i mean it's good there's not a lot of flavors besides those two things they're just really challenging spicy i like it because i like sour spicy i wish there was more of a meaty flavor to this broth like it don't love it next up the rice noodle from that famous rice noodle chain been around since 1963. [Music] so [Music] so [Music] oh this is sweet it's not really spicy it's just really really really sweet yeah i'm not a big fan of this the noodle texture is great i think there is noodles definitely achieve that but so sweet oh my goodness [Music] all right waiting for that heat up check this out um purple sweet potato sea salt pringles [Music] this is so awesome this almost kind of tastes healthy made with real vegetables huh little salty tiny hint of sweetness from the sweet potato all combined in such a nice delicious crunch great sweet potato flavor this kanji comes with giant chunks of beef look at this oh this looks hearty it looks good oh this is awesome this is definitely the best thing i had tonight a little sesame oil and sesame seeds for some additional aroma the beef is tender the congee is soft and delicious and eat this with some of this that's some bun chun as well this is some dried pollock with chili sauce oh that looks tense put that in some of my kanji it's basically fish jerky in this sweet and spicy sauce perfect with some thick congee all right i'm saving the best for last a new flavor of samyam [Music] i'm already so sure that this is gonna be good i already crowned it with a soft boiled egg [Music] oh this is good too this is pork with rice cakes hmm [Music] the rice cakes are delicious in this one the only thing is there's like three pieces of pork that's it but this is really splashy so it's dish the jajan flavors this thing is earthy it's rustic great jojo flavor noodles are chewy and of course just like every samyang noodle this will light you up definitely the best thing i had tonight i'm so excited whenever this company comes out with a new flavor i just know it's gonna be good mainly because it's gonna be really spicy i'm gonna drop a cheese stick in here as well like i said whenever i'm in an asian country whether it's japan singapore thailand south korea of course love going to the convenience stores it's just so easy when you want to just not go out and stay home so it's a perfect way to eat delicious food and not be in a crowded restaurant on a weekend one last thing to try and tiramisu oreo cookies this actually tastes like a crunchy turmeric this isn't in the raspberry cream these new flavors here in south korea absolutely mind-blowing my cheese is being melted i'm gonna grab all the other dishes i made tonight except for that really sweet rice noodle now it's time to feast as always guys thank you all so much for watching until we eat again see you later
