well we're starting off the day with a bike ride there's a lake down the road so right there and back looks like a gorilla on it mine's like a big like for like mountain biking the tires are like that wide probably not gonna be too much fun to ride on the road so i'll take adam's other bike the back wheel's got a big wobble in it so i think the tire might be bit yeah i know i was riding it i was like the big wobble see the wiggle did you like do a warm-up or something or do you just like bike for a warm-up [Music] when you're behind someone i'm drafting it's like very noticeably different [Music] super fun we were pumped with how he executed every workout at the mac and motivated by room for improvement it was a great weekend and the timing was really good too because it gave us an opportunity to kind of go back to the drawing board and put some focus in some areas that need some work and the fact that we had basically two months between then and the games he's been working hard yeah it's cool dude that was unreal after the games last year you kind of reached out to me and was just like hey man if you ever need anything like see on your board for advice or whatever just like give me a call and i was like oh dude like super nice guy probably never gonna hear from him again that'd be an unreal experience to get out there and like learn from him like he's undistributedly like the best ever do it so um he finally got the gym set up invited me out there and took him up on that and adam flew out there for four days and just like buckled in for like four days he took like so much time out of his day just to like sit there with us it was just awesome just have like another set of eyes on me i mean adam's awesome you got to work with him all the time but like you can always learn something new from someone else so for me and adam both to be there and kind of soak in like some of the stuff that matt's learned throughout the years it was an awesome experience yeah he has a stairmaster and fricken he had me do it for 30 minutes oh yeah i don't need no elevator like i do crossfit oh i was walk up four stories you get to the top of the fourth store and you're like oh my gosh i am out of shape and that only takes you like two three minutes to get to the fourth story and you do that for 30 minutes long like dude it was a good workout we did it with a weight vest and just kind of went hard on it dude i got wrecked by it it was i underestimated that thing for sure [Applause] [Music] the biggest difference i feel is like going back in like starting my second session like if i didn't do anything to like cool down or like loosen up like the muscles i just used in that previous session going into that next one like everything's just super tight and it takes me like forever to warm up again but if i do like a nice long like cool down plug in the movements i just did uh it makes it so much easier to like warm up and just feel better hitting that second session feels good everything's super tight right now like my quads are all working super hard and i'm just doing squat cleans and stuff like that just my hips are all super tight right now so let's kind of loosen them up i get a good stretch and i feel like i'm not doing anything i can just lay here sit on my phone and just kind of relax after the workout calm my heart rate and stuff so this one always feels good i can always sit here for like three five minutes after this my family hates stretching they need to freaking get better at it i can normally wrote my mom into it just like everybody it's hard to stretch like always by yourself so if you can get like just a group of people to like hit it with you like after every workout or like your girlfriend husband wife or something to hit it before bed like makes it so much more easier but my mom's at home it's always her by herself freaking so sweaty the ball keeps sliding out i can't believe tomorrow is going to be like 1 15 almost a high of 113. frick for training it sucks but that's all madison's probably gonna be i didn't really have any like video games or stuff like that and i grew up on like five acres so i was always outside and then my sisters were way older than me so i was always just like outside trying to figure out games to play by myself 101 it's perfect perfect weather i'm already nice and warm and sweaty these things are going to get warm maybe that will help let's do that perfect everyone in the gym can come in and trade harder i mean everyone says oh yeah every piece has a purpose but like how much does it really like every movement in a workout length like how many workouts you're doing every day every single piece that you're doing is working to get better like no wasted time and that comes like in all aspects of actual training nutrition recovery find all those little like one percent half percent quarter percent like pieces where i can push myself to get better and that's what i gotta focus on
