Please note that this website is currently a work in progress! Lots of interesting data and statistics to come.
From what I remember they're only making a few hundred of these and they sold in like an hour of Cadillac opening sales.
Now with their focus on being 100% EV by 2030 this could be one of the last cars of its kind from Cadillac. Makes me kind of sad honestly.
The CT6 V is great, but if you can't afford one, unironically the stripper CT6 is what you should be getting.
The CT6 rides on a great platform, ridiculously light. The base CT6 weighs 1695kg: https://www.cadillac.com.cn/config/ct6.html
So yeah, this is a full sized sedan that weighs the same as a compact. Depending on spec, a c class weighs between 1,635 to 1,939 kg.
Power is lacking on the base edition, but it weighs the same as a C300, and has around the same power level too. The transmission is close ratio, and puts down power well. Besides, all RWD CT6s gets brembo brakes and LSD.
I don't think they're still making them for 2020 in the US market, but if you're looking for a sporty sedan, get the 2.0turbo rwd
The 3.0 sport is nice, but that config is like a whole 400kg more! Do you really need AWD and rws?
You guys have the best intros. Please don't stop
Another $10k gets you into an M5, how does the CT6-V stack up to that car /u/ThrottlehouseTH /u/jamesthrottlehouse
That engine made my panties drop.
10/10 GM to create an expensive singular platform and engine for a car only for them to not market it then cancel it. Nobody even knows what a CT6 is outside of the car community and GM has to audacity to be confused as to why the average consumer isnβt buying it.
I feel Thomas' enthusiasm and that intro was great, Thomas will be converted from his BMWs in due time. I like the new Caddy sedans I just don't need a sedan as large as a CT6. The CT5 is my sweetspot but it doesn't drive as well as the CTS which is a dissapointment.
Also this may not be true anymore but Caddy offered a free driving school down in Nevada, outside Vegas for free to people who purchased a new V series. I wonder if that still holds true for the CT6, 5 and 4 V series.
Hopefully Thomas didnβt break anything as James pulled him out of the car lol
What is up with these wheels from a 2007 Infiniti G35 sedan?
At least it was made at all
