Another felix quality start and we were still losing into the ninth cuz we just didn't have any bats. Then we routed their ace closer. Also I believe this was the game where beaned bogarts.
The legendary Edgar Martinez walk off hit
DAE '95?!
Oh man, I need to see some M's playoff baseball so badly.
I'd like to watch the final regular season game with the angels that allowed us to get into the playoffs. I've seen this replay a few times, but I think I've ever rewatched that game. It would be great to see the bases loaded Louis Sojo hit, or Randy coming in for relief at the end of the game.
Be nice if something this exciting happened every decade or so... but no, we are still trying to live off a game that was played 21 years ago...
I mean, what the fuck, is the Felix perfect game not on youtube??
I watched this a few weeks ago. So great.
Neat stuff
To me, something more special is when we had 116 wins in 2001. Like, miracle doubles to win it all in the postseason are special, but not as rare as a team getting 116 wins, something that has only happened twice.
