1965 Massey Ferguson 165 Walk-around

Hey so a little quick tour of the Massey 165 here bought it to replace the little Ford and use them on the garden 100 by 500 foot a little spot here and I'm gonna expand it next year we're gonna plant a big pumpkin patch just in the back field a little more power I'll pick this thing up Oh three weeks ago roughly I didn't look like this when we bought it we painted her up put new decals on it went through it fixed all the leaks and a few leaks still a little leak right here can't quite figure out where that's coming from but most of the major leaks we got fixed up new fuel filters doesn't burn oil or anything it runs really nice picked it up for thirty-nine hundred bucks just online I had to drive about three hours each each way there and back to pick it up I'll load it on the trailer and brought her home when we got her I mean it's a 1965 massive 165 so it looked like a 1965 tractor I think someone maybe had repainted it previously but definitely not for some time it had you know faded pink color and scratched up dented up seen some use the front grille was all dented we brought her back to the shop it ran good when we when we picked her up but it had lots of fuel leaks coming down the sides of the engine here all the fuel lines it didn't start very good because of that air in the fuel system but we fix those up start perfect now runs like a top i sanded her down we didn't strip it or take the old paint totally off there's still a little bit under here but that's a working tractor not a show tractor but it's awesome that it looks this nice now so we sanded her down got it all smoothed out or as good as we could put a fresh coat of massey paint on it like from egg Cole bought the deco kit right from AG go from our local massey dealer I was actually pretty impressed they still sold any parts for this ancient machine let alone the deck like it it's got every little every little deckle and warning placard brand new top here to put new trim on it so it didn't wattle pick these up from from Massey so this didn't rattle it was missing those didn't come with a seat I mean came with the frame but the cushion was totally gone so we restored that fixed up the mechanics in here the full dramatic mechanics works as it should seeing some use in its day that's Ford I painted over it when I repainted the tractor but these were blue these are Ford three-point hitch arms and this is a John Deere drawbar but I can't really tell the difference and they work fine transmission strong ships good like I said the engine is good especially now that we fix those leaks it starts perfect runs great it's just a really nice tractor and we're gonna get a lot of a lot of use out of it out here probably run the potato picker we got a three-point a 20-degree these are all potatoes out here so we got quite a few of them and yeah then places this on Ford eight in this is a 51 don't quote me on that I didn't restore it or anything came like this one's good too looks pretty good like I said you just want a little more power and I'm a massive guy anyway I think this is 58 horsepower diesel Perkins it's a really nice machine so yeah all the gauges run all the lights work including the dash lights it has electroluminescent gauge lights that really neat we're good so there's no light bulb in nice just they I don't even know how it works but they worked oh that's good I did order a new steering wheel didn't come it will start up sure it's in neutral yep starts and I was pretty good for the old girl
