15 RAREST things to find in Minecraft 1.14 Update

hey what's going on guys logged ads if Pierre Minecrafts got a lot of rare structure sure but there are other rare places and things to find in-game so we decided to compile a list of the 15 rarest ones and just to make things even cooler we thought hey these things are so rare maybe you should get some special items for finding so join us as we discover brand new terraforming seeds flowers that heal you magical chest containing heaps of loot and a whole mess more rarity number 1 floating islands feast your eyes on this puppy huh originally some sort of terrain generation glitch floating islands or structures that float midair and are not connected to the ground sea hills or cliffs this baby is entirely independent on its own over there more frequent and mountain biomes and they're mainly made of dirty stone but sometimes they have trees on them sometimes they've got waterfalls on them sometimes but I'm involved they've got just a little bit more and so our special idea to add to this rare area is known as the taro roots when dropped in water they'll spawn in a new floating island look at these babies Wow delicious hey I'd eat that see if we can land it in there huh did we make it yeah anyways the idea is if you throw some taro roots into the water they will cause islands to form above them and as we were saying before sometimes Islands have things on them in this case we got a chest and this chest has ooh it's a phantom membranes to fix this Electra water buckets and and another taro root for another Island plus you get taro root seeds so that you can grow a couple of these puppies as well now let's just see what we did oh boy check it out this one has 1.1 trees on it number 2 on this list hollows these are extremely rare areas to find it minecraft they're basically the opposite of floating islands it's basically like finding a piece of the overworld but underground instead because as you can see and you gotta use your imagination in fact we're in a cave now don't ask questions yeah good luck finding one of these naturally the reason it's so special is because grass normally needs sunlight in order to grow and in this case in the hollows it doesn't so our rare Edition is cave flowers maybe it happened to be out of food you're a hungry boy if you look you can literally see me getting hungry as we speak well Kay flowers are excellent sources of nutrition it kind of if we were to eat the petals of one of these flowers we would get decent amount of hunger back but in return we would get blinded temporarily 30 seconds of blindness so these are useful if you happen to be exploring in a cave and don't have any food on you which said it's at a watering trader where is he where is he oh gosh you again what do you want I got it yeah leave don't cause she's coming back let's just get out of here already couldn't escape if I tried anyways our next one is number three floating sand nice floating sand and gravel for the matter isn't something that's supposed to naturally happen but it does fun naturally a great way to experience this for yourself is to load up a beach buffet world so that you can watch all of the sand slowly fall I could literally do this for hours but we won't so if you happen to see floating sand in your world like this consider yourself lucky it's pretty rare fine with that in mind though we've made a slight change to it namely when you find this rare sand that's just floating around well it drops something new it's known as sand grains and it drops four of them now at any time you can turn for sand grins back into one piece of sand so you don't lose any sand to it but sand grains are nice because you can cook them and they cook quite quickly compared to normal items and you'll get a glass bottle for that instead so now you've got a lot easier way of getting glass bottles number four Desert Wells check out this beautiful structure testament to water I guess in the desert and they're pretty rare though there's a one-one thousand chance for them to spawn inside of a desert chunk and there are a lot of chunks in the desert but you should still consider yourself fairly lucky if you happen across this structure now one thing that's interesting about Wells is that they will still spawn in a game even when the generate structures option is disabled in your world Jen options and what we've added to this special well to make finding it that much nicer is fact that it now gives infinite of any block source that's in it whether its water or in a special case lava so check this out we've emptied the well of its water which you do by placing sand within and now look at what happens lava right we'll put some lava down great grab it okay y'all ready lava is still there love is still there lava lava lava lava it never disappears we just got so much lava rarity number five fossils that's right giant behemoths that once used to roam the lands of Minecraft fossils have a 164 chance to generate in a chunk and they come and eat variants for spines and for skulls that's because fossils didn't use to run the land creatures that had skeletons used to and this is now all that's left of them anyways let's give a nice this one's huge alright and I think that that will do it let's check out what we got here that is a big spine piece imagine finding that in your survival world's just randomly I'd be gonna freaked out now currently in Minecraft you can make bone blocks by combining bone meal into a three by three on your crafting grid and you can even turn your bone blocks back into bone meal by placing a single one of them in your crafting grid however we thought these things are so big and if you find one it's so rare you may as well get more bones for your buck so now instead you'll get nine bones for a bone block instead of nine bone meal which of course means to make a bone block you'll need nine bones so now it's more compact compacted bone hey it wasn't funny number six giant cactus and giant sugar cane cactus has a two and eighteen chance to spawn in with three blocks this is the normal cactus that you've come to be used to when you break the bottom of it it explodes he's funny but more importantly and rarely to cacti can spawn on top of each other so now we've got a big old cactus this is an extremely rare occurrence never mind that fake imposter cactus at the top there we'll get to it in a second no no literally in one second it's about to drop on top of it look at this guy upon breaking that you'll get a cactus head which is a new block that we added to make these more interesting because honestly how interesting is breaking cactus but hey once you've got yourself a cactus head you can actually cook it inside of a furnace and upon that thing being nice and cooked up you'll get yourself a cactus cake which sounds completely awful and probably is but hey your character doesn't matter and they're forced to eat whatever you right-click in a similar sense sugar cane are very close to that rarely they'll spawning with four sugar canes instead of the normal amount which happens to be three and if you're wondering why I've got all this sugar on me well it's because he's so sweet baby I'm just kidding don't know it contact me they can rarely spawn four by four on top of one another as well and so we've got an ugly sugar cane block on top look sometimes detectors they don't come together folks what do you want me to say but imagine finding a chute came this tall in your world it should do something special and so when you do we've decided to make it drop sugar Oh sugar sugar you get it now you were to break one of these it wouldn't be nearly as interesting so you should probably build your farms around it because upon breaking its naturally shook responding and believable very believable might I add mechanics would break and speaking of believable is this a cave that leads directly to a swamp from in a desert whoa it sure is oh come on they're fun right anyways number seven swamp Hut's also pretty rare now maybe it's not as rare as all structures but the rarity here is that there's a chance for them to spawn on top of one another making for a double swamp huts in addition these pillars can also grow to abnormal sizes like look at this all the way down they extend until they hit solid ground but seriously if you ever get a chance to see a double swamp huh consider yourself very lucky very rare and so what we've changed about them is we've filled their cauldrons with something quite murky and quite slimy indeed liquid slime is in the cauldron you can use it to summon in slime if you've got a slime bucket or two here and a regular bucket in which we're going to grab this lovely cauldron of slime sorry I was like thinking about is like is it really lovely not particularly lovely look you can place the slam on the ground and he's hanging out he's my new best he can't even be so worthless I love you oh we're gonna go ahead and bring them that's cuz number 8 here is lava lakes another rarity to find in the overworld you've seen water legs it happened to be on one for the most part and you've seen love underground but to find it above ground in the form of a lava lake is pretty rare and dangerous and so now if you take your bucket a slime or really any slime in general and they hit lava well they will instantly get get in there get in there they'll instantly become doesn't mean magma cube so now they've got a little bit more punch to them gosh looks like I do - did you see how much arch - came off that board thing hold on a second Oh neat Oh trying to right-click when I was above that I missed well oh gosh this isn't what I had in mind yeah what are you looking at I get it I get it we should have just used the slime spawn eggs that they had in the chests there okay but here's the rare part I mean the magma that's nice you know cool whatever well the magma cubes it's more specifically because the thing I'm about to say is that you actually can now find magma in the overworld because in lava lakes you'll have a chance at finding magma spawning in naturally so no longer do you need to visit the nether to get your hands on some magma blocks beautiful except the part where I messed up the water yeah Oh what the heck happened to that guy bad day what is he easy sunbathing oh gosh no you heard me Oh anyways let's move on for the time being we need to find out where this next one ooh nice yo solid number 9 woodland mansions you already know this puppy's rare check it out big ol wonder huh you say it's rather large these spawn and so infrequently that you need to get a map to one from a cartographer just to have a decent chance at finding it in game because they oftentimes appear as many as 10,000 blocks away and sometimes even 50,000 blocks away from spawn so I don't need to necessarily speak to its rarity but what I can't speak to is what we changed about it you know those little vex creatures you know this one over here this is a vex and now they've got a very slight chance at dropping something brand-new see we get our hands on each did you die I get ya not that time come on baby oh there we go we got it it's the vex key I don't actually know when I got that key I may have had it for a while I was paying attention but anyways you must be joking as you know there are occasionally hidden rooms within the woodland mansion hmm and in this case you've got another prize to find it's known as the vex chest and it's filled with wonders but it's locked in order to open it you need that vex key that we killed some vexes for right right check out these goodies bones ingots totems diamond the sugar cane huh what you could just acts through like like I did and break it open well so you think try and break this chest oops yeah anyways let's not worry about it oh my god dude a to watch one Coley jumping out of nowhere man I know he's number 10 the stronghold more stuffs just in case oh thank you this is very convenient I have a feeling the needle I hear a whole bunch of silverfish right around there now at only 128 of these strongholds per world they are very rare indeed that's right there's a hard limit on these spawning in in-game and so there should be something a little bit rarer to the area that leads to the end right well now there is in the form of our boys right here the end of mites and they're bringing silverfish with them come on there now areas in the portal room known as end basins near where you enter the portal that will cause ender mites to spawn in if you were to try and enter them well you wouldn't actually go anywhere these are simply here to make you hate life and oh my gosh do I hate maybe we should just get me into the end portal I'm jumping in I don't have food okay good here we are the end oh boy we're moving I have normally fast maybe it's because it's so rare to get here in the first place yeah instead we've got number 11 the Dragon's nest get a load of this bed rock behemoth complete with a dragon egg right on top well unlike strongholds there's only one of these per Minecraft world and once you defeat the Ender Dragon it becomes your way home through this portal you will go right back to your spawn zone and once you've done that you can't get another dragon egg again you'd only get one for defeating the ender dragon and it comes with the nest however you were to collect this egg nothing special would happen but if you leave the egg on the nest for too long it will hatch again and it will spawn in and enter dragon with double the normal health of your typical ender dragon so oops ice went through the 4 oh gosh wait where are we this is this isn't where I spawned I'm like oh hey 12 mushroom biome make a mushroom fields it's the rarest non variant biome in the game the rarest primal game is technically jungle modified edge but mushroom feel spawning is an island in lalala just lets go this it's already a lot of fun running into a rare mushroom island biome and it's fun to terrorize the local animals as well ooh this tastes like truffles delicious feels good knowing you've championed over an extremely rare species and taking them out for no reason puts Heritage s brands what we change about this area to make it more appealing to watch well brown mushrooms now spawn in brown mushroom cows normally you only get these by setting a red mushroom on fire now that's equally as disappointing in terms of moral and ethic guides is killing them outright so instead you can now just break mushrooms to get mushrooms and still kill them if you want number 13 giant mushrooms that's right baby they're pretty common around here but you don't find the rarer 13 block tall mushroom too often look at this puppy right that's right this is a rare spawn that you'll occasionally see roaming around your world so rare so tall so nice look at this guy imagine if they spawned in-game and there was some reason for tearing him down or building them up other than just to look at him right well you see these guys only have a 1 in 12 chance of generating and what we've done is made it worth your time giant mushrooms may now have something at the top of them what could it be I'll tell you saying it we're almost there it's a chest for some reason whatever and it drops things like red mushroom blocks Brown mushroom blocks iron ingots stone swords and mushrooms to a nice sample rate look at that that's nice and then look you get some nice decorative blocks you could do it like that a lobster too bad but now we're stuck up here is there something oh hey nice what are so useful such a fan don't freeze huh where's this keep happening number 14 the ice spikes bye oh it may not be the mushroom filled mushroom island biome in terms of rarity levels but it's pretty rare nonetheless I mean how many times you happen across this compared to some Plains well at night you camp on the ice spikes to avoid mobs because they don't actually spawn nearby these puppies so keep that in mind when you're roaming around with nothing else to do but hide however you may find blue ice on your travels and you can place blue ice instantly to freeze water dirt rather you can place blue ice to freeze water instantly that's it that's I meant to say so why don't we collect some blue ice here and show you what I'm talking about hey collect the things like though we've got a river here that hasn't fully frozen over if we place one of these puppies down look at that ice instantly forms all around where you've placed it so this is a particularly useful block for anyone trying to travel across the ocean without depth struck or what do they call the frost ball your boots look I'm good at Minecraft okay you guys got calm down it's not that big of a deal huh oh great number 15 the ocean monument the ocean monument come on Ethan that's awesome that's not the Velociraptor for his awesome spell use me my day didn't even realize it I am most this stuff and it was ocean monuments they're very rare to find in game this rare structure only generates in the deep ocean it's the only place where sponges can be found naturally but be careful like the woodland mansion it is quite dangerous so with that in mind I'm gonna go into creative mode so that these guys leave me alone and we show you a very special rare room that can now be found inside these monuments here it is it's the armory not only can you find yourself a trident in every ocean monument now but maybe the Trident it's pointed at hidden treasure yes it's did pointed hidden treasure because in addition to the Triton in the armory we have a chance to get even more goodies in a hidden room check it out Riptide more Trident heart of the sea diamonds yes please but those are mine crafts 15 rarest items to be found in game let us know in the comments below which special
