10 Mod Maps You Can Play Today in ARK Ascended

so first map in saluna explore Lush biomes and Traverse this island inspired map to explore its Secrets SE player talk to be all right we got one spawn location Bob's Beach the perfect location for any Bob let's find out what's over here trees palm trees sand lots of it some sea oh little rub of my wrist but we got them all right looking good for some reason I have already died here I don't see that's possible how is that possible not even been on this map yet all right um lots of beach lots of space Can See For Miles around I think we're just going to not mess about go straight into spectator lot of places to get yourself uh sorted sorted lots of places to get yourself set up operate on the shores of the beach right by the world is this the world Edge this isn't the world Edge it's just the edge drop off we have lot of beach stretches for miles around so we have a very even split of biomes right now it seems a lake that splits everything in the middle this is arman's second map I know Arman was experimenting a lot with their first map you got spinos for days BOS isolating though very very close really to the initial spawn so you might have a little problem over there though this map is bigger than I first thought we can see now there is lots of space to play with here we got a spot over here more of a beach resort I guess starting off at bobland you want to move around over here I think this looks a bit more inviting perhaps a bit more jungly lots of flat land lots of flat spaces to build in I guess if you're into that but is there Adventure is there some scenes awaiting there's a pool a pund that I can mesh through which I imagine will be full of fish right now one single piranha we got an abelisk which hopefully means there is some boss fights able to be done surrounded by Mor swamp plan I hear something snapping did that is that Saro or a dinos sucas not sure the swamp is dense for miles around and this this keeps on stretching dude good grief to a less swamp but more Wasteland looking biome almost sort of bug all over to these highrises that we've got uh sheer Cliffs overlooking the the the map and they continue to be so it stretches around here to the left oh no it stretches around here to the left it's a bit nubbly there's obviously work in progress areas over here we got some rocky Dunes over here a big giant rock rock face it's I mean it's a big map it'll certainly serve as a basis for many players uh to play on though the sense of adventure awaiting is perhaps still to come certainly a map with aspirations Adventure waiting lots to do lots to build in just yet a half worked map not surprised to see it not completely finished yet a lot of work to come yet for this one but certainly plenty of scope to build on yourself already if you'd like to and invite a bunch of friends to play on as well if you prefer something else other than the island so so for now we're going to give you a round just over middle of the field until we've seen more of this map a six Doos out of 10 for lar load it up pretty quick let's get our man come on wrath okay we've got quite a few spawn locations safe one two one two on the west one two on the East and one two on the North let's start with the easy one as you always should though just realized all these spawn location are all in the same place so maybe forget about these spawn locations for now spawning oh no I I moved away from the middle I get a feeling we're not going to see too much about this map right now we shall see I've noticed it is still called The Island at the top we're loading the sky we're loading Beach we're loading sea oh nice looking water at that we seem to have a SEMA with what the heck is that what is that all right I think straight into spectator oh oh oh this has got me tingling initial oh initial look says yes oh I like this okay what we got so this is what we saw in the thumbnail a little inviting duck area to your newly arrived survivors oh that's very nice very quaint with a natural path that I'm I feel inclined to follow let's follow it follow the AL Road diversity already happening elevation verticality as we pan through move through game's struggling to keep up with me though I'm going to I'm going to take this nice and slow we have just loaded it in so I'm not sure if we're going to find much in the way of creatures just yet but we'll remain look at that dude I'm very excited to see what's up there definitely it's a fair size one Obelisk available to go to at the moment we pull back we can see some some large Cliff side areas over here I want to go and check out the Obelisk over there that's seemingly not got anything available to it at the moment certainly struggling to load in areas though but I'm playing at Max Max settings this is lovely look at this o okay here we go areas here that have yet to be developed at the back all you get braining points for just Obelisk variation and doing something different dragons overlooking the map oh and it even goes to the terminal which has been decorated as well oh mate yeah I like this map they've even gone for an Extinction type terminal that's nice Mushroom Kingdom Tied by land bridges is to move across I mean yeah great there's a lot of sense of adventure with this map I think you can have a lot of fun already in its current state adventuring and seeing what it's all about suffering quite a few crashes right now myself at the moment I think it's worth noting but it's early mod maps I think you got to accept that's going to be a thing oh look at this D dudes this is beautiful this looks like the Tropical Islands area in Crystal Isles sort of interesting yeah look it looks a lot like Crystal Isles Tropical Islands interestingly formed floating rocks is it meant to resemble some form of creature The Rock God I don't know what is this like what is this an asset that's in in the game I dude whatever it is I love it there's one there and then there's another one where's that other one there there's a few what are these meant to resemble you know what I think if you had to pick a mod map at the moment this is up there I'm going to give this a big fat round eight out of 10 Doos that was eight eight of 10 Doos right Alps test map loading download me oh we have spawn locations we have quite a few spawn locations uh obelisks safe zones wests Norths all of them all right let's just try the obelisks one is that a custom made spawn I assume it should be what have we got the Alps is it going to be snowy apparently imported from ASC to some degree I think my game struggling with this one grief oh wow H gone I think I underestimated this map look at that like at that castle over there obviously a lot of work to do on foliage but work and attention to detail is being put in first and foremost on just the landscape and how the terrain all interacts with itself wow okay well we got to go to that Cathedral Castle whatever it is oh my god well there you go I think I can expect most of you are going to want to rush for this spot straight away oh wow oh this is this this is a castle wow oh dude you're just yeah one people over with this is that that's a window we have glass windows stained Windows you didn't oh this is nice yeah yeah I think if I remember correctly now the description says something about role playing yeah totally role playing maybe is purely built for that oh you can see medieval times right here this is yeah this is much nicer than I thought perhaps there's no foliage on purpose perhaps there's no foliage because it's built to allow you to build your kingdoms that's wondrous look at that that's lovely it is just a kingdom overlooking areas okay now this is watching say long way to go for your wood I imagine this yet it's certainly being built for a role playing Community uh in its current state to appear in at some point it's not here yet maybe we'll find like a volcanic ash area here all right this has got a lot of potential more potential than I anticipated and yeah quite expansive as we pull around here these snow glaciers again attention to detail has been put into the terrain so it's that just a flat Peak there's an under under ice cave area to build a spot in here oh dude this is is going to be look nice once all your rocks and trees have been placed in this is going to be a great looking map I do I love all these ramps and nooks and crannies that are just moving into little areas another ruin area over here another Castle location but plenty of space there for somebody to to work they're tribing Su that's lovely I like this nice and much bigger than I thought are we where's this a lava ashlands volcanic sort of biome now with a potential scar oh hello this definitely looks like a scar could we find wens flying around in here oh yeah there's your nests for the got damn okay this is a good map this is one to watch you tick off the Wyn you've got a lot of people interested on that front though I haven't seen anything spawn yet yeah here we go this is your volcano does it have volcanic ash inside is the question does does including a few leaves and a actual path up to here I imagine for getting your precious resources yeah it's got a ramp goes all the way down the volcano dude I love this I I I love that attention to detail it's not just a case of slapping a volcano it's how do you get up to the volcano with damn that could be a absolutely great spot thinking about it with this natural ramp up here leading up to it oh wow oh wow oh that's nice oh that's nice look at that it's like the Ascension to a temple that's masked in Cloud at the moment okay well I'm not seeing much in the way of spawns yet however provided the spawns do come in and it's not just here for Aesthetics this could shape up to be a really good map that I think a lot of people are going to have a lot of fun with especially if you're into role playing I think you're going to enjoy this a lot dude yeah for that providing that we find trees of rocks and creatures coming in at some point we got to give this a good round eight out of 108 out of 10 yeah it's beautiful all right then isi descent let's go for this one let's have a look with only one spawn area easy question mark why only one let's find out why oh oh underground stra at a terminal lots of plant life so we've got an obelisk here that's blinding me into a cave oh okay this is cool so we're in an underground cave let's go I think let's just go and spectator I think we're in a deep underground cave that opens that into a bigger cave oh so interesting take I hear monkeys a bit of water to play in Dark Water cuz it's lit a bit like the underwolves on the center few Doos knck in a base it certainly is The Descent what's this a map on ASC that's being ported over I get a feeling it was I get a feeling I've already seen to some extent it does it feels more akin to the underworld on the center but like an expanded version of that ramp over here into a bloomy mushroom Bloom W more water interesting take certainly a very different type of Bio to what normal maps are like now got a descent into a rock formation I wonder what lives here is this potentially a bus fight I could [Music] imagine the Lava Rock Golem sitting here awaiting its fate versus you got some potential most definitely um and Again difficult another room here we go waterfall basilisks a glowy basilisk I saw you o o glow basilis oh that is nice oh jeez it's definitely a more unique map I get a feel this was originally an isse but I think if you're down for and there's a lot of you if you're down for an aberrate type Adventure then you can't go wrong certainly more work to be done I like it a bit more variation but certainly creative I think this gets a generous seven out of 10 okay temis Lagoon let's see this has got some description welcome to the temis Lagoon an enchanting virtual world that seamlessly waves together diverse biomes inviting exploration and Adventure stretching along the horizon or Horizon let's have a look let's go spawning in bush with a bit of pink on it okay I think before we die let's just go straight into spectator there we go right colorful pink you pink Palms these pink what is this pink caller base don't know Spar but Spar in a good way it's just Islands D the B at the moment asking you to travel from one to the next but ooh okay there's some definite work on terrain here as we venture more Inland from these remote islands and there's a few of them to the the mainland it's not completely flat it's it's certainly molded sculpted Natural Bridges nice yeah I guess this is eventually going to become a waterfall yeah and a lot more work to be done over here very flat over here giant Scenic mountainous Peaks overlooking the world I'm I'm Tor I'm torn on the the markings for this one cuz I can appreciate what it's going to be but it's still got some way to go to really reveal how nice it's going to look but you know what despite stuff like this which will be developed over time I think it's certainly worth keeping an eye on people I feel bad but we're going to give this one a six dodos out of 10 with a tively seventh dodo tan when we've seen a little bit more with possibly even more to go right AR Ice Age this one just dropped like today Ice Age got spawns got many spawns wow and even tells you how many spawns you've got in these different locations that's cool oh it's icy it's snowy it's not anymore it's it's less green more blue I think we're going to be pleasantly surprised by this going to be super cold let's go into spectator so we don't die the freezing colds already surrounded by the OD floating Rock what is that that's like a square what is that surrounded by trees large pine trees as they work their way up to some Cliffy Ascent with large flowers looming blooming to get an overview of where to go next and I want to go there next there we go straight away let's move over there fer first Obelisk oh this is nice what what is this we've got like an Extinction City overgrown by snow ooh ooh all right and there's a lot to explore here which Goes Down Deeper let's find out how far the rabbit hole goes D into what appears to possibly be an aberration system maybe not developed yet but the purple glow makes me think will we find aberant type things down here like admittedly personally I'm not a massive fan of just living in ice cold temperatures but I guess if you want to test your survival instincts to the max if you want a bit of Skyrim in your life if you want to feel like you've gone to the far north it's a it's another winner I think there's plenty of scope to building I look forward to seeing more on adventure caves to explore I see some ruins over here what's this oh hello maybe a castle being prepared to be made possibly or many or is it just a space for you to build what you want to build we'll have to see we'll have to wait and see there overgrown giant roots that connect to possibly a giant tree maybe no it does it it feels quite reminiscent of Extinction than any other map map we've seen so far I take back me saying it's a small map what is this yeah no what is this that's some giant mushroom what is this can you go on top of this you can't okay so that's just a visual thing giant UFO size mushroom overlooking this lamb Mass here ah and the ruin here we go f just flew through it a castle awaiting for somebody to build in always good to see these you got to love a few ruins to build in to at least provide some SES everyone loves a ruin plenty of ample space in here it doubles up as an obelisk okay yeah no it takes a lot of boxes ion you've got a frozen gorilla knocking about you dude well you just you just did it you just tipped it you just tipped it uh lots to go yet lots to work on for this one yet but I think it's it's possibly just let down on my personal not a massive fan of a whole Arctic map but I think it's got a load of potential and as it is now I'm going to give it a seven dodos out of 10 Arc cart cart racing for Dino enthusiasts art cart a map built for racing which I'm kind of interested about oh wow you can actually pick no a different car to racing dude okay uh I don't know what to do let's go for the tech hover ski oh no oh dude speed an actual race track on Arc I don't think I've ever seen this been done before this is amazing if You' ever wanted a race in Arc now you can let's have a have a further look at how far this goes game doesn't like me going into the spectator okay looks like it could be a lot of fun uh with a bunch of people it it's a a small m map but a race course in Arc I look forward to seeing what more could be done with this now now we've seen it saw a little shortcut there above my head a bit more variety on the cars against friends if you could see some more powerups could we possibly see missiles being able to be launched it wouldn't take much you know to make some sort of Micro Machines slash uh mashed sort of game mode where cuz if it's going to be advertised like Mario Kart you can actually shoot some things right now we're only getting speed boosts but I got to applaud era map maker for giving this a good shot giving this a go until we see more I think you get a do you know what come on it's a RAC track it gets a seven dodos out of 10 let's go right Kingdom of Bastion test Branch kind of interesting this one's been on the store for a while a cave a castle oh oh I think we're going to run this one on foot what is this what are these blue lights what do they mean can I get these what what do these lights mean no idea adventure and wonder awaits continue on looks lovely ambient love the lighting oh this is the introduction to getting outside the map so how the hang on how the hell did you get over there so are you kind of tested to figure out how to build to get to that opening I love that the way the light seeping through to tell you where you need to go how would you know how to how how on Earth would you cross to this opening or are you even meant to you're definitely meant to onto a pathway which takes us where through lovely scenics around I feel like it's going to take me to Santa's village oh I love that though like the opening alone has me wondering what what is is going to be it feels like it's setting itself up to be some action adventure RPG I love it I love it I love this opening this is great but for it right now as a playable map things for you to do one as as cool as I like it as cool as the intro is I think we've got to drop it to a five dodos out of 10 so this one schneitz team deathmatch we played this on PlayStation it's got ability mode where you need to pick a team team deathmatch One V one shoot pick your poison and get fighting though because it is just me I don't know whether this is going to allow me to do anything it will brilliant okay so I can at least spawn in for now and it's a pretty simple setup we go straight into spectator it's a pretty simple setup built for three teams I think or is it two I don't know I think that's the initial spawn area right there I think it is yeah and then you pick a team you start either there or there and we found that this cues us up for some epic fights some epic matches on player V player uh and it's but on that basis alone for the people who want a bit of quick gunko fighting PVP it's good fun so right now C on PC for some reason I am finding no servers hosting this but if it continues to be supported like we found on Playstation last week I really hope it is then you're going to have a lot of fun with this and I would give it a very easy seven dodos out of 10 and finally sart alheim needing no introduction we've covered this map to death created by ncas who of course made valguero and foda and this was in development to pretty much completion on isse and is now ported over to ISA a lot of people are already covering this mud map it's certainly one of the more detailed maps spart alheim joined Arc survival sended on day one from when the game came out and it's it's looking good still a lot of progress to go yet certain areas locations that I even saw in its early version on Arc survival evolved haven't made its way through to it yet but it is looking gorgeous nartas has certainly spent a long time getting all the assets up to date looking like an ascended version of a mudded map for Arc survival evolved recreated with stunning Nordic Dwarven Landscapes with both new and familiar locations included and it's looking smart it's looking really really really nice I you know I know spart Aline we've done so many videos on this already the underground area the cave system hasn't been implemented yet though I believe there's a couple of caves so far but we know what this map is all about we know how detailed it will become and already what's been created it's looking really nice a lot of people again A lot of people are already doing playthroughs of this I'm sure you've already probably seen a few videos on spart Alim it's a lovely lucky map narus is a talented uh map developer and I can't wait to see this map in its fullest fruition especially considering there's already a number of different Dwarven mods that you can help to complement this to be your own Nordic SL Dwarven escape and can't wait to see more uh of this it's a lovely map I'm probably going to keep myself a bit reserved I'm playing this until it it's more complete just because I want to experience spart Al in its fullest form which you know isn't going to happen overnight it's going to take a while but again we know what to expect already a few obelisks already thrown in a whole new way of playing with me thrill and brand new Bus locations it's a joyous map it's a joyous map and call me bias but I think it's very easy for me to say and possibly who knows we could see this in some official capacity in the future but it's without question a 10 out of 10 a 10 out of 10 n is forever updating this and I can't wait to play this properly in the near future and I'm sure if you're looking for mod Mups to play on you've probably already played this yourself so without question without an ease shadow of a doubt 10 out of 10 10 dodos and there we go there's 10 mud maps you can play today definitely on PC though I'm hearing some issues with some mod maps and console at the moment but hopefully that will be fixed very very soon keep your eyes peeled for updates from the developers of each of the maps I'll try to leave links for every map so you can check out updates for yourself oh there's even new structures these weren't here before this is brand new oh well nart okay you've you've you've ramped it up it looks like SW Alim may have changed a little bit more I I already was happy to give it a 10 out of 10 it seems there are brand new locations to check out including this new stronghold what other new Delights will we see then that we haven't seen in the arc survival of old version I don't know but yeah more maps to come in the future can't wait to see what the maps we get to play on but right now here has 10 for you to go out and play hopefully right now until the next one my name is
