04 How to Upload and setup Cisco IOU L2 and L3 Switch in GNS3 Client

hello everyone once again welcome back to another session in this session I will show how you can upload and setup Cisco l2 and l3 switch image in gns a client so let's get start [Music] now I am in my local computer here you can see l2 and l3 switch emails also you can see Cisco ru u PG & 3f dot py file and then Queen SCP dot exe file to upload and setup Cisco are yo-yo l2 and l3 switch in gns3 client we will be working for step 2 step 1 we will be installed Queen SCP and in step 2 we will be upload Cisco l2 and l3 switch image to Jane is reclined and in step 3 we will upload Cisco io u ki ji & 3 dot py file to gns3 p.m. using winscp and then in step 4 we will login gns3 VM shell in shell we will run Python script so let's install Vanessa P double click on winscp and then click on run and here select Install for all user I click on accept click on next next in a store we can see our installation is finished so click on finish so now in gns3 client movie you will upload Cisco n2 and n3 switch image let's open Janus declined wait for a moment here you will see two server one gonna be the local server and another is going to be the gns3 VM we can see server summary local server and genus v vm to upload and set of Cisco l2 and l3 switch go to edit and then click on preference here we can see under iOS on UNIX section I thought you device click on new select run this IOU device on the gns3 p.m. and name it Cisco l2 switch type l2 image click on browse select the Cisco l2 iou image and double click on it we can see it's uploading click on finish now again click on new select run this IOU device on the gns3 VM and name it Cisco l3 switch click new image type l3 image click on browse select the Cisco l3 iou image and double click on it we can see it's uploading click on finish here we can see Cisco iou l2 and l3 switch now I'm gonna create blank project the project name gonna be Cisco iou l2 and l3 tests now click on browse all device and here we can see cisco io u l2 and l3 switch that we have uploaded let's take Cisco Altos which run the switch and here we can see one you know and this is because of IO u license in order to install cisco iou switch and user image to gns3 we need license to install io your license we will be upload Cisco I owe you GG and three F dot py file to the gns3 VM using winscp let's open win SCP here we can see winscp in file protocol keep it SFTP and the host name Janus t vm server IP if we open Genesee VM and we can see server IP and username gns3 and password gns3 I'm giving Janus 3 vm IP address 192 dot one sixty eight dot 32.1 28 and then user name gns3 and password gns3 ok let's save it and now click on login click on s we can see gns3 vm connected now we'll upload Cisco IOU GG + 3 F dot py file to the IO u directory double click on here click on opt click on gns3 click on images click on Io you hear will upload Cisco IOU ki g f3 f dot py file let's drag the file from local computer and place it here click on ok now we will be login gns3 VM shell in shell we will run Python script so let's open Janus CVM click OK if we go down we can see shell press enter from your keyboard so we will be go ruu directory use the command CD space slash opt slash gns3 slash images slash i o u slash and then press enter if we use LS to see the directory we can see Cisco IOU ki g m 3 m dot P I file is there so now we will run Python script use the command sudo space py th Oh auntie this Cisco I owe you key GM the F dot py now press ENTER from your keyboard we can see our python script is running so let's exit from Janus VV m click on refresh here we can see I owe you our C dot txt file and will be copied this file to our local Drive so let's copy this file to our local Drive and this fine we'll be using gns3 client for I owe you our C license drag the I owe you our C dot txt file and place it here now open gns3 blind go to edit and then click on preference here we can see under iOS on UNIX section click on browse and OH io r c dot txt file click apply and ok so let's run the l2 switch which we have taken let's have a console and we can see we haven't any role so we have successfully completed all the process that's how you can upload and setup cisco ru u l2 and l3 switch in gns3 client if you face any problem during this lab setup please write me and mail I will help you thank you so much have a nice day
