[Music] [Applause] [Music] hello everybody and welcome to the monster energy fam motocross donations the 74th edition of this historic event we are at the circuit of mantava in italy my name is paul malin and today we have the first and second races on the bill of the yz blue crew fiom europe cup super finales 65 cc race one is almost upon us and this will be 39 little tear aways from all over europe who have qualified for this super finale via their national championships they're all on yamaha machinery all on 65s and they've really been looked after so far this weekend they have their own yamaha village at the bottom end of the paddock everything is provided the shelter and every all the clothing the shirts the hats the number boards the sticker kit and these guys also have the opportunity to be inside the paddock on the biggest race of the season now that was the first look at the racetrack 1670 meters long you may have noticed the keen eyes amongst you around about sort of uh just after turn five we now have a long straight in front of the fans because uh turn six seven a little ninety left right taken out in favor of a longer straight down the middle comes back in the opposite direction and then again so uh it's just slightly different and then also the rub towards the finish line has changed we'll see more of that in our gopro track preview in tomorrow's races here's how he was a little wizard he was two and a half seconds quicker than danny sankov of bulgaria and he in turn was almost two seconds a second and a half thereabouts quicker than storm mayman off denmark then we've got jimmy martilla virtually notorious eduardo rigante so uh the regante boys are right there in first and sixth and we've got john cons a bunch of other kids out there as well we just can't mention all of them but they are taking their positions down there behind the gate and the bestest guy in practice was that rider pietro rigante a proper little sand fly here in italy but other riders to look out for possibly danny sankoff who just a week ago in rio lasado finished ninth in the european emx 65 championship there is our fastest rider on track pietro reganti it seems to be getting over pretty much all of the jumps here today like the big bubbles and the tabletops that kind of thing but the big triple over the back not sure if we made it over there but i'm not sure any of the 65's made it there but the bulgarian danny sancho looks very very tall on that 65 but he'll be looking to try and get himself on the podium and maybe even win this race it's a one-off super finale the prize at the end of it all the top three will go to a master class two wild cards as well who may have gone on the podium but maybe suffered a mechanical or a fall or just a little bit of bad luck they will also be invited we just saw a storm there who finished seventh in the european championship last week at rio lasado another rider who will be keen to get onto the podium he was third in time practice this morning but christ will see the top three plus two wild cards go for the yamaha master class a little later on in the year and the winner of that master class is where they'll be under [Music] [Music] [Music] race winner takes all gig here for the white house blue crew fif europe cup super finale 65 cc race 1 12 minutes plus two match the riders charge into turn one [Music] nations this weekend everybody safely through but it is our pole man the number 15 of pietro rigante who leads the way at the first time it looks like storm mayman right there in second position with the yellow helmet over the far side where is that him in fourth position we'll soon find out so the 111 eventually [Music] he tried to get over that tabletop this is the part of the track that's being extended and then they cut back up the infield but it's um at 315 is now up into the position maybe even trying to challenge and there he is in fourth place actually disappearing at the head of the field here working their way towards us some of these kids were getting heading up the hill for the first time here there's that triple they're going double symbol who can blame them it's a pretty big jump that one over on the far side of the circuit [Music] a little bomb hole there just to upset them to the bike as they switch back bring them back in the opposite direction and heading back up hill for the second time the third hill now not as steep as it used to be but you'll see the run to the finish line has changed as well but pietro rigante absolutely flying here on this opening eduardo right there in second position bit of a battle for third just below our camera look like mayman and ponte [Music] slightly different combination either way it brings you to the final four on the racetrack [Music] [Applause] [Music] 2-2-8 of storm in the yellow helmet coming towards us now just in shot there fifth for tila lagang the french rider who didn't have a great time in real deciding to be fair did score points but probably not as high because he wanted to be and he's in fifth place [Music] and then jimmy martin and eric rubio casey castro and keno morris this is going to be the battle for second position though eduardo reganty gets over that little double jumper too there's a big bulgarian danny sankoff number 96 [Music] up [Music] [Music] the race looks like it's settling down at the moment but the lead that pietro rigante had over brother edwardo at the start of this lap was already 4.7 seconds we'll get a lap time next time around so they're running towards the part of the racetrack there and how it tightens up right here but good positive start for dennis hancock that's exactly what he wanted but here's [Music] it was a 213 944 so some indication as to how the track has deteriorated over the course of the day because we've had 85s one two fives and of course the three across nations practice sessions here today already as they prepare for the qualifying races a little later on [Music] [Music] [Music] both feet off the pegs going through that left hand doesn't manage to hold on to third position [Music] [Music] great experience for these guys [Music] [Music] throughout the course of the season in your own national championship is how you qualify for it access to the paddock access to pit lane while the races are get to see the best riders in the world of this unique experience [Music] on a journey that might lead to a rider becoming a professional motocross racer next step would be 85 and then one two five [Music] just behind so these two should still be in fifth and sixth place as they work their way through the left turn seems to go on forever then tightens up briefly before going right you can go around that mobile to the inside give it a slightly different run down towards the city jump still no change in third and fourth this is fifth and sixth place legend and martilla [Music] that's another 911 around the outside trying to cut back to the inside lagoon just holding the inside a little bit of a left hand there rubber on rubber band backhand backs off the bank as well [Music] super finale [Music] these guys these days [Music] is [Music] [Music] is [Music] looks like he's made the best stick though this time around the back end getting a little bit loose on him but commits to the outside makes a fantastic pass up on that middle hill so all of a sudden jimmy martinez up into fifth place time ticking away two and a half minutes plus two laps to go this race just 12 minutes plus two eduardo continues to lead and there's why [Music] [Music] [Music] remember how the [Music] so this is going to be the metal third place [Music] [Music] once [Music] as well [Music] on the podium 13 seconds to go eduardo rigante has hit the finish line and so it's gonna be three laps to go and all of a sudden little brother here is going to be under pressure from storm for three more left here is your race leader the 15th of eduardo rigante then every single lap pull the whole shot from then no one has seen him [Music] and a nervous look again seems to be missing gears got his panic mode third position is under threat ah closes down the door fearless still hanging off in that third place storm and mayman [Music] absolutely side by side keeping it pinned [Music] he's not going to give it the fight preferred is it [Music] drive [Music] [Music] at the back of the back end of the circuit [Music] is in tenth place then we have eric rubio in 11. nick bergmeyer he's in 13th then david or david actually naughty pair samuel rollygate sebastian's olsens our race leader now already over the line the two that board is out working their way towards the finish line here back marker 110 just on their line of sight tudor andre of alabama blue flag being away for him does his best to stay out of the way the pietro again team managed to get by hanging on to that third place great little battle these guys are having here storm moment pushing pushing all the way why is that 65 [Music] could not get over the double [Music] [Music] still hanging on in third place looking to take forth away from [Music] [Music] racetrack [Music] [Music] eduardo rigante has been immaculate so far in this super finale 65 cc race i have a feeling that jimmy martinez was the rider that went down on the approach to the hill over the far side of the track just wondering whether they banged bars and he just shot off to the left because he's not hit sector three [Music] here's daddy sankoff he's in second position he's going to be going to the master class later on this season [Music] is nailed on but it's looking better yeah still dropping down the leaderboard [Music] last weekend [Music] has to come around now he's now in 12th place anyway number 15 eduardo final stretch through the rhythm section it's been an impeccable race for the young italian in eduardo rigante crosses the monster energy finish line and wins the 65 cc why said blue crew oh he's into the final lap oh here he and the checkered is goes out for eduardo righty who wins the yz blue crew fam europe cup super finale got a bit of a weight towards the number 96 of denny sankoff he will be next [Music] any moment now there he is he's happy with that second position for the bulgarian we wait for pietro reganti he should be over the line in third any moment now and there he is and he's super pumped with that as well [Music] so our top three then here pietro rigante wins it from the number 96 of danny sankoff third 111 of eduardo rigante they're the three riders we're going to see on the podium in a few moments time but just a uh a shining light for the riders of the future anyway here is eduardo regente plus two wild cards who showed promise here today invited to the master class [Music] [Music] [Music] jimmy martilla faded to 11th after falling with a couple laps to go nick bergmaier then neo ninja samwell rolling get uh leo huskinen davey duh your top 20 riders [Music] getting ready for the podium ceremony here then [Music] [Applause] celebrating he was immaculate from start to finish rigante [Music] president on hand to deliver those medals to our top three riders in this wiser blue crew f5 europe cup super finale there as well of course the ceo of in front motor racing family photo and then it will be just with the winner but good effort from the youngsters two italians there two brothers and then the bulgarian if daddy said coffee and they will i'm sure they'll remember
