CHAD REED RACES AN 85!! Father & Son Race!

[Music] [Music] i jack am awesome it's uh i wish i had dad's class it's like the dirt the layout the hills the elevation like it's it's perfect like i dig it so i do get to ride it today i'm doing a father-son ride but we have to share a bike that'll be interesting i don't know which one's the finish line so tell me which one is [Music] tightening your gear up yes oh yeah there's a uh father-son race later so they're both gonna like interchange the little relays wait chad's gonna race tonight wait where's tate gonna be well okay so tate will do a lap and then he has to bring the bike back to death so right after practice i think 20 minutes after practice and then they'll do it oh that's we're going to practice [Music] me [Music] um [Music] he'll write his ktm 50 and then also his e-bike which is he doesn't love the 50. i'm trying to the impossible job as a dad to try to get it at 50 to run like an electric bike which is hard [Music] so [Music] you did your best that's all that matters okay you got three more practices you just do you but mate you can't ride like that in the sand and stuff like that the slower you go the harder it is [Music] there we go [Music] [Music] yes [Music] got it [Music] [Music] wow [Music] um practice went really well i liked the first second middle and the third model those were my favorites the last moto i crashed two times but it was all right i had fun so that matters come here practice went i call it tomorrow kids i don't know how do you feel about the race tomorrow you ready kind of kind of all right what's your favorite part of the track uh sand the sand i saw you ripping in the sand are you ready for those stars almost slide that out you almost slide it out yeah because i hit a massive hole oh my gosh father-son race next thing we know we do super mini 125. hey the bigger bike you get the better yeah i'm sign me up for the super mini and the 125 geez they weren't even they're only 80s when i raised them they weren't even 85s uh i'm thinking that like 94 1994 would have been the last time i raced in 80. so i feel so ready [Music] i'm gonna be just dragging my feet [Music] ride up to your son pass the bike off and they're going to go do a lap we're going this way we're going that way when we take back off how do we do it let's do the job you're all a bunch of sickos they all wanna take off that way from the one to the two when it goes to the one when it goes to two to one put it into gear when it goes to two because it's going to drop because they're going to turn it sideways and then drop okay [Music] [Music] that's my guy we just we like pressure put him under pressure uh oh now i'm scared [Music] oh he jumped there [Music] wow [Music] wow [Music] wow [Music] [Music] mm-hmm [Music] what [Music] [Music] wow [Music] [Music] everything's just bending flexing moving like you've never felt in a long time like it's so funny it was really fun to watch especially that first laugh i know your dad is proud of you there's no doubt about it but let me ask you you guys took second place today are you proud of him or are you mad at him well he made up all the ground i kind of lost a little guy in the first place so i can't do this really blame it on him so a little bit on me i think you did good man you guys got out there and just started tearing it up [Applause] [Music] you
