WOW! AMAZING FINDS at the Collectors Carnival! Shop With Me

good morning you guys it's Amy Mama Pam's also with me she's already inside the building shopping we're back at the Gibson County Fairgrounds for the collector's Carnival the April Edition it's the first big outdoor show of the season I cannot wait to see what Treasures we may find today so let's go this lady always has beautiful glass things here this little base 26 she's got on [Music] that this little Morano heart shape bowl it's pretty with a pink flower frog 15's a pretty good deal on that are beautiful quilts here I really like this one this one here on the end how much 105 called Wedding R yeah it's really pretty this cute little wood girl she's 24 look at the tiny teeny tiny ladybug at this giant La Smith floor vase that's a big one they've got 500 on it she always has really lovely things in here too this little hand painted book box and she has you remember I filmed some of these a couple places she has an assortment of these check rhinestone pieces aren't these fun gosh these are fun to see the teeny tiny little trees itty bitty ones looks like she sold her um she had some Halloween ones looks like the only one that she has left is the Jackal lanard but she did have a couple witches in October but love to see these cool brownie cameras the Bingo cards the little La Smith um little oil lamp here she's got 85 on it that's not a piece that you usually see very much a little Viking kitty meow meow look at this mustache cup doesn't it look like mermaid scales that is beautiful I love the color it's a beautiful mograph I love the colors in that one I also really like this framed picture here this one is lovely as well the meow meows 55 on those arnart squirrels 65 Joseph Originals kitties $20 all out of my price range but fun to see one of these big photograph buttons with the butterfly it's really cool these are so hard to find this a little Celluloid measuring tape um I don't see these very often that's why I wanted to film it they do have $40 on it I'm not going to get it but I had to film it look at this little milk delivery toy oh my gosh 225 I've never seen that before so cute look at the little the little poodle carrying case oh my gosh oh it's a lunch box it's got a thermos in there so cute oh I do love a good hand fan I'm not sure how much this is I'm going to have to ask about it look at these these are cool the butterfly big giant wall decals there are mermaid ones out there that exist but she doesn't have any of the mermaids look at that it's cool with this DK set in the Box 45 sorry for the glare you guys this is beautiful look at that look at that that is really pretty and she's got some little biscuit babies in here cute cute look at this darling tin litho snow in the seven drawers little child set that is adorable 125 all right this is Beth Ker's Booth she always brings a really fun assortment of things LC site grapes $35 insane price on those she's actually got two bunches [Music] look at the blanco it's really fun oh and the Elephant little litted dish there he's cool all right here's more of best pretty things more losey grapes she's got a whole bunch a whole bunch of bunches I like these Art Deco those are pretty $10 for the pair I'm telling you Beth has got good prices on her things oh look at all the cute little faces peeking out of here oh cute stuff of course I like the meow meow I like the little sugar the little sugar Kitty so we'll get him and look at this little green Mouse I think it's a mouse he's kind of cute I like him C stuff oh I like the little Pottery deer he's cute too we'll take him as well she's got some more deer peeking out on the Shelf I see look at these These are cute I'm not sure if they're hobbyist or they're California Pottery sometimes it's hard to tell oh I like this purple fish vase oh I like that I don't see these I think I've only seen one other one of these see how it's like a fish swimming like an angel fish I really like that I think we're going to get that too and there's a she's got a lithophane fairy lamp this looks like maybe nativity scene on there that's cool indana fairy lamp too Beth has also got some beautiful jewelry got a Sarah Coventry here the Weiss little daisies are cute I love this brooch right here it's very sparkly I love I think I'm going to get that brooch that is just stunning nice puddling on the backside there I think we'll get that one she's got a UR Wilder if you guys are not familiar with these these are very valuable brooches here in the box that's cool to see that this one's gorgeous back here look at the little glass seals little hedgies really nice jewelry I like the penguin too so yeah we're going to get that little baby yeah maybe not beautiful jadeite little glowy display they have here and then they've got a whole bunch of jite dishes here as well some more beautiful Fire King jadeite pieces here and the Delite I love the Delite really pretty pieces ni little Celluloid girl I would have to add like a feather or something to fix her hat but she's really darn cute I'm going to see if maybe he can do a little better on it all right we're at my favorite jewelry ladies Booth look at all the beautiful cameos that she has in here look at this that is beautiful right there look at these wow all right here are the trays that I normally spend way too much time going through but she always has fun stuff let a little ostrich I have gotten some cool brooches from her like the little parrot seems to be all birds in this tray the little Celluloid chicken it's kind of fun Jelly Belly owl all right this tray looks to have bugs and butterflies little ladybug crab dolphin I was looking for fish this that looks like kind of a fish I like it we've got look like we've got dogs and cats in this one I did pick out this I love these little bobblehead little bobblehead cats it doesn't want to focus cuz it's so tiny there we go so her little head swivels back and forth I do like that one there a little poodle with a little heart around it s it's cute a little wer dog he's kind of fun I don't know the just like Goldy tone ones don't do a whole lot for me and there's another one we'll get two little bobblehead cats some more cameos this one looks to be all butterflies it's fun little enamel that one's signed on the back made in Korea that's pretty this one looks to be just sparkly rhinestone pieces in here it's a fun mushroom I like that that one's really pretty that one's very different wow that's giant look how big that rooch is it's giant this one back here looks like it has squirrel jungle animals sort of thing all right so I guess I think I'm just going to get the little bobblehead kitties for right now the cute little faces here's a little RNR Kitty oh I'll get that that's easy to fix the paint so I'll get that and touch up the paint on it are cute little kitties too look at the popcorn lights in there original box I don't know how much those are but those are amazing look at this advertisement kind of looks like Ken doesn't it that's really cool this tin lith a rabbit on the motorcycle goofy got the little penguin rocket Fighter the duck this cool chocolate box definitely looks like it's probably 20s 30s on it Potter's confectionary 1930s it's cool like the that's really nice too this guy's always got really interesting this little tin litho that is cute too made in Brian Ohio I know where that's at he's always got really cool cans and advertising and things in his Booth too so I've been digging through ephemera this guy's never brought ephemera to the show before and I have a couple things picked out look at this I like both of those things but this right here is it is separated from the cover but it's a little fairy soap book from 1898 look at the mermaids oh my heck I don't know what else is in here but oh wow this is fantastic I'm going to see he's got 20 on this I'm going to see um what kind of deal he said he would give me a deal if I was interested in any of the ephemera things so I'm going to look through this postcard bin and uh see what we can get look at this gorgeous signature album 1890s I'm going to peek on the inside here o look at that made in Germany we like that are there signatures in here here just a couple just a few in there oh my gosh but the cover is absolutely gorgeous oh man you guys know these are a weakness of mine I love these so much I'm going to look it over again I'm going to make a final decision about it what did you get a complete ski set for Ken with the boots the mittens the Hat the leggings and the jacket oh wow look at that tiny little zipper and how much was that $12 $12 that's amazing deal this cute little dolly brooch little pose doll don't know how much it is I'm going to have to ask look at this whole box I think there's these are Unita Peewee little box with all the little clothes for $15 I at the sleep mask look at the Box on that that is fantastic little razors in their cases oh look at this tin that is gorgeous I'm going to get that tin for sure a little lipstick stocking Dy amazing these are very old Ohio art um little nursery rhyme sets this one's Hansel and gredle and this one's um Little Red Riding Hood I'm going to get both of those and this amazing poodle lamp and the pom pom trim that's super cool they've got $50 on it the chalkware flamingos those are fantastic they don't have their metal legs but really cool got some beautiful jewelry she said that the micro Mosaic is $2 so I'm definitely getting that one and I think I'm getting this one as well I just love the colors in this one it's really nice puddling on the back and really pretty fall colors I really liked that one I do kind of like this little bug too how much is that little bug don't know much is the little bug the bug is 10 okay all right so I'm just going to get those two it's a super windy out here today and we've seen lots of people have things blow over um and they have wisely laid all their swung bases down here on the table all the pretty Pottery here on the end lots of Royal Copley here in the center lots of Royal Copley not too bad prices this canister set a yellow looks like it's complete we' got $24 on it yeah pretty glass here look at the Roseville Jers and stands pretty 575 on the pair I had to film him he's H Howard he's a little tidbit pixie he does have an ear repair but cool to see him this is something I don't normally see this is an Edward Mo little elephant Toy Box they have $100 on it so cute so she told me that all the Christmas is half off you know that I love that look I love the Santa she said she would do better on the price so I like him look at this in the box that's awesome the Nal lights are always fun to see those I like the Box graphics on those meow meow look at this little it's a bank that is cute I have never seen that before a little chunky kitty bank that's kind of cute I do like the antique milk glass decanter that's really pretty oh look at that look at the little washing machine stinking cute I love the tins are really nice oh look at this piece that is stunning love that on little biscuit jar she's got 25 on that oh look at the little tree skirt with the felties H well I think I look at the game of Fox and the Hound that's fun the owl graphic on that too got all these bins of Barbie things like clothes and shoes mom's going to dig through here it's a whole box of Combs and things a game oh my gosh this the teeniest tiniest little Barbie board game does it actually like open in I don't is it just usually has a little drawer for the parts right there it has in the front here it is oh my heck it's actually got little cards gosh look at it that's so cute look at this foot stool with the flowers and the animals on the inside look at the deer and the kitties that's so cool look at this fun kitchen set still with its original tag on it $12 I have talked about seeing these before these antique lamp finals love those the giant little pixie light his little lantern lights up how cute we got this big old puppy dog cookie jar he's adorable $47 look at this book I've only seen this book one other time oh my oh my gosh this is amazing it's been years since I've seen this so yeah we're definitely going to get that look at the little Meer cord decal on the end of the crib full of Cabbage Patch super cute a little suitcase full of oh my gosh look at the the fabric with the little turtles and mice and mushrooms oh my heck that's so cute that is adorable here is it for the whole case $15 of doll clothes well let's go through the rest of it I also like that little red dress that's on the top there look a rick R that's newer some old panties be that's cute that's really like the sunet yeah that would look cute on a c little sundress that would look really cute on a Cy 's say oh it's a bonnet a little Bonnet oh my gosh look at this fabric how cute is that a little handkerchief like for your hair it's cute looks looks like a two-piece little set there fun oh look at the little little Daisy on there this one looks cute too it's a little hat got some pants down there little felt there's some shoes some boots and a hanky couple hankies in there that's really fun this cute little framed grouping of the photograph and the little baby shoes it's $25 all right so this vendor here actually makes these he takes any kind of broken or really scratched up records and turns them into coasters how cool are those so I'm going to pick out um two of the coolest ones and I'm going to send those to Gavin of Grady group of vintage recordings look at these it's like I don't know if it's Celluloid or just plastic but they look like I don't know what they're what they are game pieces or something there's an owl one too I think these are cool for Halloween I'm going to get both of those all right you guys we're all done shopping here at the collector's Carnival so much fun uh I have two bags full of vintage goodies so much great stuff here today you guys I will tack on a little haul to the end so you can see everything that I purchased here today we got here at 7 a.m. it is now 11:40 uh so this is officially the longest that we have spent at the collector's Carnival it was a lovely day here today A little windy uh but no rain so lots more vendors were set up outside um and they sold out for vendor spots in all of the buildings that they have here today so it was super fun and everybody brings amazing stuff to the show uh miss you thrifter junker vintage Hunter and Mark were also here shopping along with us as well so we're going to go have some lunch and sit down for a little while cuz we've been on our feet that long it will give you guys close-ups of everything and give you some information on some of the things that I know about in here sometimes I just pick up things because I like their aesthetic IC or they're pleasing to the eye or they just give me a feeling so uh I have to learn about a few of the things that are laying out here this time but very happy with the things that I found so let's start over here and um the lady did give me uh some dollars off of this little larger Celluloid babe because she does have um a hole in her hat and she has a couple dents but I don't think that that really takes away from her so I did find a picture of her so I know what she was supposed to look like up there so I'm going to do a little repair job and try and um make it look as close to the original as possible on that she's really cute with her little her little shopping presents and purse I love her and then we have H I love these awesome very pretty lady advertising fans she actually had two of these the other one had a little tear in it um but my gosh the uh graphic now um you can see that there's a signature here on it um they uh did a lot of pinup style kind of advertising and cards calendars that sort of thing uh but I loved it it does have um Filbert's oldtime root beer ginger beer and orange yum yum sounds good to me I of Chicago so I really liked that fan for sure those look really cool in a grouping uh if you have larger vases you can display them on the top of your glass they look really really cool like that and then two very cool like Deco style uh little tins this one's just pink and black but I really liked um I really liked the graphic on that one and then this one was gorgeous with um the colors and the butterflies and flowers that go around in it I loved those so much and then I had uh very good luck finding this awesome mograph I love the little saying that's on it but look at the little pixie bug sitting on the little Mound there I love I haven't seen that particular illustration in one before and the frame is really good shape on it so glad that I was able to find that and very very happy with my ephemera finds from this time um there's one guy that I always buy something from his booth and it's been a whole mixture of things but he had brought bins and bins of a FEMA this time and I was like you've never brought this before and he said no but I've never really had room for it um so I was very happy to dig through the bins of his ephemera so he did give me a little bit of a deal on the three pieces that I purchased from him um this one I think is my favorite the uh little autograph book that you saw me film in his Booth it only had like two or three entries in it unfortunately so um I didn't get that I love the cover of it but I didn't get it but this um this little book here is so cool the illustrations in here now it is from 1898 so um it's kind of an advertisement for Fairy soap all right but oh my gosh the little things that are in here I'm trying to get to the first page look at the mermaids in here oh my goodness so little stories that go along with the illustrations now it is it is separated from the cover but I really didn't care about that too much because uh it's just chalk full of awesome illustrations and Graphics lots of fairies um cute little poems to go along if you're a femer person I mean you kind kind of understand why I was geeking out over this little pamphlet here but um as we go along of course there's more little fairies look at this one I love that so so cool I love that little illustration and then we've got little advertising here at the back as well love that book and then this um I also this is a little piece of advertising for Grandma's coffee here on the back but I just loved it kind of gives me Halloween Vibes um with the owls they're sitting on the moon I loved the graphic on that and then this tiny little pansy also um a little piece of advertising but it's a tiny little Ed calendar from 1894 how stinking cute is that I believe all the pages are still there too and then let's talk about the year with the fairies book I have seen this book one time it it's been a long time since I've seen a copy of it um and it's a very valuable book so I was very happy to come across this and uh the lady gave me like an even better deal than it was marked um in her Booth so this is fantastic and I do want to show you some of it in here it is from 1914 I mean just the graphics on the inside cover alone give you any indication of what's in here it's so so good so I'm going to try and be gentle with it because it does have some age um but the illustrations in here remind me so much of the uh look at that um the Elizabeth Gordon Illustrated books um um so like if you like Elizabeth Gordon like you will love the illustrations in this book um it's in Fairly good condition for its age I mean not a whole lot of issues with it but just amazing um and of course there's a little and this also reminds me of Elizabeth Gordon there's a little poem or a little story that goes along with each illust ation as well so I I think that might be that might be my favorite find from the show for sure and then let's go over to the jewelry I did pick up a little bit of jewelry at the show this time um this is a newer 60s kind of style um micro Mosaic but I did like the coloring in it the dark turquoise background and everything and uh it's not stamped Italy here on the back typically they would be here um right in the center uh but I do know it's it's an Italy one for sure and it has kind of the safety pin little clasp there on the back um this little itty bitty pose doll um little brooch she was super cute on her original card darling I loved that and then the little teeny tiny meow meow uh little Bobble they do have little bobble heads um both of those little pearly kitties and then this gorgeousness um came from Beth keer Booth um Beth I love to visit her Booth she's so nice and kind um she always has a great variety of things in her Booth too and then this lovely one um my gosh that's pretty uh just gives me really pretty fall um kind of Vibes with that one and then these fun record coasters that uh the guy told me that like he he doesn't destroy Good Records he only destroys the ones that are really warped or they have a chipping or really scratched um to make the records he had so many cool ones I did have kind of a hard time picking out uh which ones I have the little cork to keep them from skitting along on the table I did pick these up for Gavin at Grady group's vintage recording definitely go give his YouTube channel a follow if you love to listen to great music head on over there and give him a subscribe and then Santa I didn't find too much uh Christmas this was the only Christmas piece that I picked up at the show this time not a lot of people brought it which surprises me because usually a lot of people bring it year round or to all three shows anyway um but fun plushy Santa he does have a little metal um belt buckle there ho ho ho um so he was he was fun to find for sure and then down here we do have a little bit of kitch I didn't find a ton of Ceramics uh this time but uh a little single norest owl he's he's a he's just a single little Shaker guy um darn cute I love how they do the Little Flower kind of stylizing around the eyes a little green Mouse on this cute little turtle that's posing for uh senior photos it looks like so cute um two little sugar kitties meow meow um this one came from Beth the little mouse came from Beth too and um this one's a little arnart a little sugar Kitty now there's some paint issues on the bow I am going to touch that up um and I feel like I can bring it back to life cuz that's really the only issue with it is the paint on the bow there and oh my uh these were one of the last things that I picked up at the show now um these are from a board game called Skittle and these are the plastic version this is a Halloween game and um these are plastic with a plastic base and I will say if you guys ever run across any of the cardboard with wood base Skittle Halloween game pieces they are worth hundreds of dollars now I believe that these plastic ones um are likely I'm not sure when they would have switch to plastic but probably 40s maybe 50s is when they decided to switch to the plastic versions but so cool to find those I always look for vintage Halloween stuff because it's so hard to find mind so that was really really fun and then these tin litho little children's dishes they are little nursery rhymes they are made by Ohio art and this one here um is Hansel and gredle and then this one here is Little Red Riding Hood so those were super cool to find both of those in the same booth CutiePie little English um puppy tin I've never run across this one before it's not a George horer um I don't believe it's not marked uh like the George hornton typically are um but I love the little puppy graphic there then we've got a Fostoria flying fish vase do you see how it's an angel fish and there there's the straight on with the mouth and the two eyes in the purple that also so came from Beth Ker's Booth I love that and this awesome ceramic fish uh planter really good condition on that nice coloring I love the seaweed um accents on that piece also found this really cool py um Japan I it's an ashtray um but I I thought that it would be cool for something else I loved the colors in that um this is a tiny little Fenton uh blue in the stretch a little bud V it is Fenton um so that was fun to find so yeah I did get some glass which I typically don't do but if it's something I haven't seen in a while or if it's really special then I do pick it up and then the last thing is this little green deer planter also from Beth camper um he's going to be turned into one of my vintage uh pin cushions so I love that color um all right
