That brave woman made that call and escaped in 2016. This is an incident that happened in 2010:
I feel like anytime I hear a 911 call, the dispatcher has a slight attitude.
Ok but did a woman whisper for help to 911?
As soon as I heard the police shouting at the guy, my first thought was "they caught you mother fucker!".
I know I'm paying too close attention to the details, but this video becomes significantly creepier when you notice the dispatcher and caller traded bodies at 1:14.
If you're hiding from someone like this, can your text 911 instead of calling? I understand that calling allied them to get info for your location and such, but are 911 dispatch set up to receive "emergency texts"?
Always wonder how many times a dispatch gets called with someone pretending to order a pizza to get help.
I was just getting ready to go to bed. It's not happening now. I'm not sure if she was in shock, or just really had her wits about her, but she did phenomenally.
Minor nitpick, but the CNN people got the people reversed at 1:17 in their subtitles.
