Windows Update Error - How To Troubleshoot (2024 Update)

keep getting Windows update notification but always fail to install the update in this video we will walk you through how to fix error encounter in Windows 10 or Windows 11 firstly we will check for Windows update now you can see error encountered with error code 0 by8 to 0706 for3 okay we will solve this problem step by step let's start with method one press Windows key plus r and then type services.msc press enter or click okay go to Windows update right click and select properties and choose automatic apply and okay right click and select restart next go to background intelligent transfer service right click and select properties and choose automatic apply and okay right click and select restart next step is open File Explorer at the left hand side where we have this PC so please click on that then we need to go to C drive now here in C drive we need to go to Windows folder and here in Windows you need to scroll down and you will find a folder named software distribution select all and shift delete let's go to Next Step press Windows key and click setting and then choose update and security go to troubleshoot go to additional tral Shooters at the right hand side go to Windows update and click run the troubleshooter when troubleshooting has completed click close the troubleshooter finally restart your computer after restart go to update computer if the problems still exist try method 2 press Windows key and type CMD click run as administrator click to paste this you can copy this command at the descriptions when the operaton completed successfully you can type exit next step is sfc scanner when you complete it you can exit and restart your computer after restart go to update computer if the problem still exist you can try method three we can also reset Windows 10 using a script to dobat script in Windows is portion of the video is optional you don't need to do this or try this but it could be useful just download the script from Below in the video's description so we have the script here right click hand run as administrator e press any key to continue press any key to restart your computer after start we can try to update now wow my windows is up to date thanks for [Music] [Applause] watching
