hey guys in this video I wanted to discuss the possibility of a spell hands Shaman build for Phase 2 and Beyond so what most people will probably do is go into deep enhancement to get storm strike but uh here's what I suspect may be better it may not be better but this is what I wanted to to uh to discuss and I want you guys to take on this as well cuz with the new runes that we're getting we're getting m from web we have lava burst which is a guaranteed spell crit right we have uh overload which procs 50% of the time we have all the Mana we can ever need like it's a innovate or or you could say an evocation on a one minute cool down to get your full Mana I suggest this this talents back here so you actually as an enhancement you would be going into Elemental and this is for level 40 so we can actually get this and of course it will be better at level 50 I'll I'll elaborate on why uh in a second but this is the the the spec that I was thinking might actually be better than going full enhancement because mainly because of two talents first one is Elemental Devastation and the second is Elemental Fury which increases the damage you do with your pretty much all your spells uh if they crit by 100% And Elemental Devastation every time you crit you get 9% more critical strength chance in M for 10 seconds and this you can actually keep going forever cuz laa burst is a guaranteed crit if you have flame shock on the target cast lava burst that's a guaranteed crit it has 8C cool down so you can keep constant up time of Elemental Devastation and this crits every time meaning that Elemental Fury you benefit a lot from this and you'll get instant lava bursts so you don't have to stop and you don't you don't have to reset your swing timer because of a mstom weapon and I even reckon that that before the 8 seconds you'll have another instant cast um if you have enough hit on your weapons then this should proc a lot uh melstrom weapon should proc a lot and with the overload so if you get like say two procs you first first proc is lava burst and then this one procs again you get the five stacks and you can do another instant cast or maybe just four or three stacks would be enough then probably your your swing timer will reset but if you're doing say you're um fighting uh four or three or four mops in a in a raid environment and you you use your chain lightning this will chain out and then there is a 50% chance that your chain lighting will proc again so that's going to be a ton of um AOE damage and just looking at what are you missing out in the enhancement tree well you're missing out on flurry and that's why I'm I'm I'm not sure if it's going to be the play going spell enhancement going into Elemental and getting Devastation and Elemental Fury but you're also getting a few other things you're getting you could get Call of Thunder or you could go with reverberation I'm guessing if you can get if you can get two spells off before your lava burst is ready again call of thunder cuz that's a 6% extra Critical Strike chance on your chain lightning which has a chance to proc two times chaining to uh a lot of targets right and um if not then reverberation might be the play cuz all of your shock spells of course they have a chance to crit as well which in turn also will give proc Elemental Devastation and um they lower the cool down the more shock spells and um the more damage of course but also the more uh opportunities to proc Elemental Devastation even though it should fall off at all cuz if you have once again flame shock on your Target and you use lava burst on cool down this should be up 100% of the time so this this should never even be an issue keeping it Elemental Devastation going and you are getting thundering strikes so you're getting the extra kit what you're missing out on is 30% uh more attack speed which of course is a lot and then you could say well Elemental Weapons I don't really think this is a lot of of extra damage then 10% more damage from weapon Mastery and then storm strike but storm strike is on a 20 second cool down I I'm not sure this would actually be a lot of extra damage um going with with storm strike but of course it will have to be tested and for runes You could argue dual wheel specialization cuz the more hit you have and this is also spell hit keep this in mind this is also spell hit you don't want to miss your spells so keeping uh using this Rune instead will will help you proc melr weapon more um so you're just going to figure out which of these two runes will be the most DPS for you in your specific situation cuz if you're gr spell hands and you're growing with um spell power on your gear then this might be the more damage um and it really depends on how fast this melstrom weapon I think will stack up to those five times so you got those instant chain lightning procs cuz if you can get both a lava burst and a chain lightning before your lava burst comes back online then I think overload will will be the play but um and then you'll have to get the extra hit from from from your gear instead but with all the new gear that shouldn't really be much of an issue maybe it uh of course 10 hit is a lot of hit chance but maybe you can get at least five or six hit from items if you're uh with the new professional items and and drops from uh Goman I've seen a lot of of items with hit from in there and there might also be the possibility of going with the two-handed uh weapon Mastery instead cuz then you actually you are you are getting then um the 30% extra attack speed and you're getting around the issue or the problem with hit chance cuz whenever you you equip two weapons you actually lowering your hit Chance by I think 177% or something crazy is a lot of extra hit chance that you need to have successful Auto attacks when dual wielding compared to when you're using a one-handed weapon or a two-handed weapon and if two-handed Mastery works just as well with melstrom weapon because maybe if they do something with whenever you have a two-handed weapon then there is a much higher proc chance on on your mstom weapon that could actually be uh the play then a lot of theory crafting here a lot of experimentation um has to go into this to figure out which is the best and as promised I wanted to elaborate on um on the level 50 so for level 50 you are actually getting getting flurry you can get the two-handed uh Maze and uh axis and of course you cannot get two-handed uh weapon specialization and also get elemental Fury so in this case when it comes to twoand weapon Mastery you have to be using staffs or staves that's the only I think this is the only weapon that enhancement shamman can use as a two-handed weapon um even though um they don't have two-hand X and uh and mace Talent so now you're getting the I'd say most of the benefits from the enhancement tree as well as the elemental tree so uh for level 50 I I'd reckon this will be the play cuz you're not going to get down and get element Elemental Devastation uh if you're going if you're going full enhancement and you're of course not getting Elemental Fury and for PvP with this spec I'd go for uh a shield or you could go no you can't actually go way of Earth cuz that requires Rock biter weapon and of course uh I think uh that um what's it called windshire weapon will be the superior play here so and this would force you to use Rock bider on your main hand so N I don't know but then if you have spell power this scales with spell power I think 47 uh spell power coefficient as as far as I've tested at least maybe a little bit less than that um but with the more spell power you have the higher the the the health you're going to get back and I've tested this in PvP versus way of Earth and actually find the Earth Shield to be U far superior but yeah of course for a PVE you want to go shamanistic rage for the extra Mana keep your Mana up going constantly and for the new runes for defeat if say you wanted to support your raate uh a little bit more then Spirit of the alpha will probably be the play here um but either of these could yeah this is just whatever this is mainly for PVP feed of the tire that will direct that will redirect the next melee or range the tack made against the target yeah this I don't think it actually counts on on your party members or does it maybe if if this could be used for party members then it will be crazy crazy right cuz if everyone in your party gets immunity to move menar effects or if just any melee or ranged attack gets soaked by the totem instead of a a tank then you could save the tank from a a big hit but this is just um this is just my take I know you're missing out on flurry the big ones are flurry elemental weapons and weapon Mastery in my opinion of course that's a lot of damage but you're also gaining 9% crit and you're gaining uh Elemental Fury you're also getting a little bit extra from your fire totem so that that will be your fire NOA totem likely to play but guys let me know what you think in the comments down below I'm really interested in hearing your guys thoughts and opinion on this nine extra crit 100% uh extra damage on your crits on your spell crits and your totems that's also fire NOA so that's a lot of AOE damage as well and for PVP you could go improv ghost wolf or something else leave your thoughts and uh Theory crafting speculations in the comments below I'm really eager to to hear what you guys thoughts are about this if this is actually going to be
