Why Do I Keep Seeing Number Signs? Ep 149 - Your Prophetic Journey with Shawn Bolz

hey you guys i love that we live in a generation where my phone is actually also my bible because i read out of it all the time i get to take it with me everywhere and i was reading out of jeremiah 33 3 call to me and i will answer you i'll tell you marvelous and wondrous things that you could never figure out on your own and i was thinking about how many of you guys are having number signs i know we did a video on number signs and signs and we had so much response to that and i was thinking about a lot of times we have number signs i'm going to tell some of my own personal journey with this one we have number signs because god's trying to speak something so deeply that it roots differently in us than if he told us directly so jeremiah 33 3 my first experience with this was when i was 19 years old and god spoke to me out of verse 333 i kept seeing 333 all over the place and it was so much and i had read jeremiah before and i even had known friends who were like that's my favorite number of 33 3 and jeremiah but it never had gone into me like it wasn't my story it was their story and i could tell you their story but it wasn't my story and god was trying to get something into me and i actually didn't correlate maybe because i was young jeremiah 33 3 with 333 yet but i kept saying 333 all over and i was being haunted by i would have you know like go to a hotel and i would have the room thirty three three i would you know see it on a receipt that would be printed out i would sit on license plates a lot like all over the place i ended up working in a theater department at a theater downtown in kansas city when i lived there and they had the 333 club inside of the theater which meant people could go there like who had a vip membership to the theater where they'd show like fan of the opera and all the 80s and 90s musicals and and uh they could go to this club beforehand like this holding club and there's a 3-3-3 club and when i first worked i worked in that club it was so weird like so many things that i've done connected to 333 and i didn't really understand i was like god i see 333 it's about the trinity because 3 has the number of the trinity 3 is the number of a lot of things and again you could look at law of first mentioned the bible all kinds of stuff but i want to tell you the story versus teaching you the mechanical principles and then i'll give you some insight so during that time it was probably about a four year period i saw it all the time and eventually i found again for myself jeremiah 33 3 and i said okay god you want me to call to you and you're going to answer me and so i started to make big calls out to god i was saying here's what i'm crying out for god i want to know purpose i'm going to know like at the time i was working and starting to believe for some things with the poor i was believing for some things in the ministry we're involved with and i started to call out and ask him for huge marvelous things that i wouldn't have known on my own lord show me some things about the people and the people groups that i love that i could have never known based on my own education my own life experience or my own network of friends and he started to educate me in some ways some of it came through actual natural education where i would take a class or some of it came through conversations with people who are well versed in certain things that i've never even heard of before some of it came through messages i heard from different amazing pastors and people were involved with subjects that i'd never even considered before but god began to show me some things just like he said in 33 3 that i would have never known as i called out to him and said god here i am i will never know what you want me to know in my lifetime without you coming and presenting to me your story and your version because my version of how i can gain intelligence spiritual awareness these kinds of things is this big but your version is the whole universe and everything beyond so i was so excited during that season and i kept seeing everybody knew 33 3 was my number because i kept seeing it so much and i talked about it all the time at one point i met this man who's a businessman and he said sean can i tell you a story it was after a meeting and he said can i tell you a story i said yeah and he started telling me about jeremiah 33 3 and what it meant to him and you guys when i heard his story it took my stories and it made it so small not insignificant but so small compared to what god had done in his story in his version of 33 3 and how god had proven this number and had had him make major financial decisions it was so funny at the end of that meeting he said sean god wants to brand you with the fact that he's going to do things in your lifetime that you cannot be self-made in and that he wants to do things in your lifetime that as you call it to them they're so much more marvelous than you can imagine and hope for today it's ephesians 3 20. and he goes i want to give you a check and he gave me a check for 333 which doesn't sound like a lot to some of you some of you it sounds like a lot but it was the number being installed in that season of my life in a financial way where he took a little bit of his money and sacrificed it and said sean god's going to invest into you this way in powerful ways resources to bring about his dream in your life now why am i telling you all this because many of you are getting number signs and as they start to culminate into the greater message god has for you not only are they going to activate for you but just like this man you'll give them away to other people you'll give away to other people who are on that same kind of journey where you felt alone you'll meet somebody and you'll say oh i got to share my story of this with you and i want to invest into you not only my story but my resources or i want to father you or nurture you in this place of revelation because a lot of us that weren't fathered or nurtured in some of the revelation we had and so it's that moment where god's saying i'm going to give through you in ways that are rich and abundant to other people around you and during maybe two more years of this i had so many financial gifts that had the number three denomination or 33 in them that it was ridiculous it was like god was pursuing me with this and i had to remember two things number one is you're speaking to me in ways that i can't understand four things that i'm going to do that i don't have awareness of yet number two you want me to sew in other people's journeys who are also being spoken to this way they're crying out to you and you're saying i'm going to speak to you in ways you can't perceive right now and you're going to have me be a part of that equation and so there's both of those it's not just about you it's about the body of christ it's about jesus and so it's very important to always remember that when you get revelation and so 33 3 became kind of one of those cornerstones in my life where it wasn't just about the revelation that god wants to give me mysteries and it wasn't just about the revelation that you know god was pursuing the signs was learning how to operate and understanding his signs it also was the mystery that when god gives you this kind of revelation and he pursues you with signs that he's also going to have you sow into other people who are getting those signs and you're going to become a benefactor you're going to become a person who positions other people's faith to be on their spiritual journey and you're a part of their journey and so we call this your prophetic journey well you're going to be a part of so many other people's prophetic journeys as you obey god as you give out of your finances as you give out of your time as you give out of your resource to other people's spiritual journey it's just going to multiply them and it's going to multiply the same kind of things that god's done for you in their life and it's good ground to do that in and so 33 3 today for me is not just those things but it's turned into a whole nother series of stories which i'd love to tell you one day but i love how revelation is progressive that god never intends to give you a revelation that stops but it always keeps revealing his nature to you so when god does something in your testimony if he delivers you from drugs he's probably going to use that to deliver other people from drugs he's going to use that to help their families have emotional intelligence of how to relate to addicts because you'll be able to share your story it'll help people to have faith who are believing for other family members the revelation god gives you is going to keep multiplying around you and i want to encourage you that that's what revelation is it's a progressive journey and so again the the theme of jeremiah 33 3 is very specific today but it's also speaking of the progressiveness of god's revelation that's going to birth so much for so many other people and it's going to grow so many other fruit trees in their lives as well
