Why Did They Throw All Of This Away?! Ep. 329

ah peer pressure strikes again i hear my neighbor up there is weed whacking my neighbor over there is cutting the grass i mowed the lawn yesterday as you can see not looking too hot right now it uh you mow this lawn when it's wet i'll tell you right now over there you can kind of see it's probably a little bit darker or brighter actually i can't even cut that that's how what it is it's been like what a week two weeks two and a half weeks since that uh that tropical storm rolled through so that's a problem with this property is everything just gets soaking wet never get around to kind of grass now you fall behind and gets too large speaking of large hopefully you find a large collection of treasure today uh let's go out there we have a couple stops we have to make towards the end of the video most likely and we'll see how this one goes try find some treasure let's do it that's one nice dresser it's definitely new it's still a nice dresser but it's definitely new i don't do all those surround sounds this is kind of nice a little tray thing those were like bows bran snagging them actually at the flea market last time i had sony's did so holy oh how's it going all right just grabbing some scrap metal thanks so oh it does okay i didn't know if something happened got a flood or something with all the rain okay perfect so so so shhh [Music] so good so so you this is really cool all right take care nope that's where i heard it ah pods i don't know if this is oh it might be a juicer that's it yep that's a juicer all right it's a serious juicer oh nope there were a there was a trash bag right where uh rivalry usually is a couple pieces of metal if metal is there still cruising in the first town i do have to make a pit stop in the third town uh driving through the second town i did see some metal out i don't know if he might have well the second town essentially where i found that kid's bike um i don't know if for some reason they might have their metal day today possibly who knows what to see when we drive through there again all right i've seen some things out here fire as i say a watering bowl might be the filters for something here there's empty boxes so brenda the flea market always buys these off me and she says if you ever get those drawer things pick them up i know our daughter uses not today mr always look both ways i know her daughter uses them that's actually really nice this is the first one i've ever picked up that's not destroyed salsa and i are going to be roasting marshmallows hmm oh this might be water in my van so oh man how are you going to do this in an ideal situation i just like to lift this up and place it right there but this thing weighs probably two of me two of these which might not be a lot some people that's a lot to me hmm so the only way to do is flip it it's too tall i can't flip it this is more pride thing right now rather than i need this thing oh man so ah freebies take this one i don't really need more glassware as of i just took the stuff that i know i can donate or do something with all right so that was talent two in a nutshell that grill probably shouldn't have grabbed that thing took its toll on me but we got that recycle everything we could possibly recycle uh but man that thing even stinks it smells like uh smells like bad steak just rotting steak and like swampy water it's a weird mix but on to town three hopefully i'll still have a little bit of room for that one spot if not we have to come back again tomorrow on the town three all right at the destination so i have to go in there there's a bunch in there we have all this over here there's no way i'm gonna be able to get everything so i gotta come back tomorrow i guess i'll grab i don't know what i want to grab i can't grab that huge ac thing i probably would want to take it apart ex i can see the coil here that's probably like well you gotta rip it apart it's probably 20 bucks just in your copper aluminum radiator now grant that's going to take a little bit of work but sunglasses away uh that's why this thing stinks this thing's just leaking like i legit smell so bad right now and i literally i'm so happy there's no one around me because that would not be fun just not the best so all right he also gave me access to a couple things here i know there's one sign there it's actually a nice sign uh he's keeping that but he said anything else in here i can take so when i grab the wind turbines i think that's what they're called the air vent wind turbines i think and a couple odds and ends i think these are closed so if they're men's clothes i'll take them right now like donations are like impossible like it's like impossible to donate clothes um in one of those drop off bins thrift store is a little bit different i don't know the next time i'm going to go to a thrift store but i think i'm going to try selling these things because i'd hate to scrap them they're probably like two or three bucks in scrap and i know those things are not cheap by any means all right so i ended up taking the clothes i like ripped open the bag and then like the bag just started like to get really brittle i was like well i don't want to be a jerk about it i just want to take a little peek it looks like a lot of this stuff is just linens it's like just at least from the top it's linens but linens do sell i don't know if they're vintage linens i don't know what's in there i don't think i can get to the other building today so maybe tomorrow run back here i know i definitely can't grab this patio sneakers so i scooped up a bunch of this garage oh that's cool oh it's all metal that's a trick or rusk if i've ever seen one sadly i have no space for it this thing feels loaded i can open it i love a mystery box if i can get down this road tomorrow morning i might have to grab that all righty so i would open up the back door to a van but uh i i took a bucket out of that garage and i placed it down and the whole thing shattered um so we'll just look in the side but you can see this thing is pretty packed i definitely you know i can say like oh you could have fit it here because i couldn't have lifted that thing and put it here could definitely not fit up there knowing how low this door is i tried actually flipping that over because i was going to be the easiest way probably the safest way the best way on my back and when i flipped it it was too wide so it wouldn't fit through a doorway um and it barely barely fit just sideways in here so probably gotta limit myself with these grills and smokers they're they're bruisers um oh yeah we didn't want to see what was in this box it honestly feels like a filled out of concrete and this thing is stupidly heavy well that was uneventful got a hunk of brass there that might even be aluminum that just yeah it looks like aluminum doesn't even look like brass um everything else in there looks like just scrap metal these sometimes sell and they sell well online are these klein this one looks like a klein this one's i don't know what brand that is this one is climb so i've had when i first started doing ebay i've had a bunch of these um klein tool pouches there's tool bags there's caddies but klein tools is a really good brand i think a lot of linemen use it to flip this guy back over it was a nice box kind of sad you know this thing was probably in the garage forever as you see how rusty it was on the inside but you know it's an old piece and you know i hate scrapping it just i don't know if anyone would buy it but then again if i do scrap it it gets recycled into something else uh it was in the trash so i guess at the end of the day it's still better than you know where it was um but overall very very fun day we got a lot of great things i think my favorite find aside from doing the clean out and there's a bunch of little smalls and stuff i see a double handed or a double bit axe down there just the the head of the axe probably my favorite fighting is i think that was a budweiser sign it was in the first part that's on the other side these bins i stacked it up back there but other than that this is a crazy score there's a lot of metal in here a lot of stuff getting recycled i saw a lot of piles um i think i'm going to try to get to the scrapyard as early as possible and get rid of stuff and try to try to check out there's any more piles i can look at before the garbage trucks pick it up in the morning right now the scrapyard's closed so can't take it over now um but yeah hopefully
