Why Did I Buy This ??? (Worst Shotgun Ever)

oh my gosh that was a mistake that was a big mistake [Music] what's up everybody my name is scott and you're watching kentucky ballistics we're back on the range and today i have a very unique shotgun to show you i'm really excited to try this thing out so let's go get set up and get started so today i have a colbray terminator 12 gauge shotgun and a lot of people say this is the worst 12 gauge shotgun ever made and today we're gonna find out if that's true i want to tell you a little bit about it real quick these things are actually pretty rare only 1500 of these were made in the late 80s i believe somewhere between like 86 or 87 to 90. it's a 12-gauge shotgun you've got a wire stock here and it's really unique because of the way it fires it's open bolt i open it up and it's on safe so with most shotguns you load a shell in hammer hits the firing pin and it goes bang with this your firing pin is right there you put your round right here into the barrel then when you pull the trigger the whole barrel shifts backwards and slams the shotgun shell into that stationary firing pin now what keeps the barrel from going back up this little thing right here it's spring-loaded and so once that barrel goes back it extends out and locks the barrel from what i understand the biggest problem with this gun is sometimes it doesn't work and that's from the shell not being slammed hard enough into the stationary firing pin and it won't go off i have not shot this one yet i'm really excited to try it out since this is called the terminator i thought i'd break out the scottinator t-shirt if see if this thing even works so i got some bird shot and some double light buck safety off kind of having some flashbacks all right let's see if it works oh it worked that's pretty cool okay it did it didn't pull it out that could be a problem there it goes here we go ready working out okay so far see what this feels like from the shoulder they say it's pretty unpleasant that's not that bad it's got a pretty wide butt plate so i mean it actually doesn't feel too bad high brass double lock buck definitely kicked a little bit harder now let's try it from the shoulder it's not that bad i'm also not someone you should talk to about recoil because i don't feel like i'm a very good judge of it but i don't think it's that bad all right it's time to blast some stuff and today we're going to start those pickles pickle flew all the way over there well the ones that got hit with double lot buck uh they kind of flew everywhere i think the bird shot did a very good job there you go my sticker's holding up all right naturally i feel like the next thing to shoot is nacho cheese now i don't want to hear any lip out of any one of you you know what kind of cheese this is actually did a pretty good job the biggest problem i'm having with this is ejecting double outback oh [Applause] nacho cheese and pickles together smells awful [Music] oh the bird shot surprisingly did quite a bit of damage to that can i wasn't expecting that uh oh my sticker's coming off the table it doesn't look like it was nacho cheese proof up next i'm gonna shoot some eggplants because nobody likes eggplant oh bird shot point blank does pretty good against eggplants up next i'm going to shoot one gallon of miracle whip point blank i'm going to regret this decision [Laughter] oh my gosh that was a mistake that was a big mistake my [Laughter] gun it's really hard to get open my fingers are so slippery i think i've ruined my skylater shirt okay my wife is gonna be really confused all right i got the gun cleaned off but you know what i think i'm done i'm soaked i'm ready to go home and on top of all that look what time it is all right we're going to finish up with a 5 gallon water jug i'm already soaked and this gun needs to be cleansed anyways [Laughter] actually did a pretty good job of cleaning that off come on eject the shell get out of there the cobra terminator i know ow freaking horsefly let's try that again the cobra terminator is it the worst shotgun ever made i don't know that's up for debate but i like it and it worked every single time today just ejecting shells was kind of difficult other than that i think that's a pretty cool little shotgun so i got this new hatchet made by scallywag knives and uh i need to try it out and i think i know just the thing yeah oh that's
