Why choose a career in Deloitte and Risk Advisory?

[Music] the reason I chose to come to Deloitte was mainly thanks to the people I met her in the mid-ground everyone was so welcoming and friendly and happy to answer any questions I had the reason I chose to come to internal audit was it's soft between external audit and consulting it had the best of both worlds and I was still able to complete my accountancy exams so while I was studying physics in college I was looking for a job that wasn't to focus in the science area I want you to use my quantitative background so had friends I worked in Deloitte they spoke greatly about the working culture here so when I looked at the different graduate opportunities I saw that risk advisory had the most dynamic background I would be able to learn and refine my skills by working there I joined as a senior consultant in Joyce when I first started looking I had many friends who worked across different departments and always talked very highly of the culture and opportunities to develop your career and what first attracted me to risk advisory is that I've always had an interest in risk management from my previous experience and Deloitte were one of the leading providers of the service in Ireland I first started in generation 2013 as part of my placement experience program within the university I interned with joy children in the risk advisory department for 7 months and during my internship I got extensive experience across all the service lines the risk advisory and specifically operational risk and assurance I was offered a three-year contract to come back as a trainee after my final year in college and where I would gain the necessary experience to set my certified information systems on their exam our background in finance and IT and one to persevere carrier which complement my skills and knowledge among ministry players I found Deloitte has a great mix of opportunities which involves application of cutting edge technology in various service lines today only things were supposed to be as perfect blend of engagements and challenges which gave the garage an opportunity to explore long interval of creative solutions I chose to Lodge because the firm stood out to me in the fact that it had a dedicated data privacy team within the risk advisory department it showed that to no share at the forefront of innovation and ahead of the curve and since working in the risk advisory department I have also been afforded the opportunity to work with the biggest clients both Ireland and globally [Music] you
