[Music] so it all started in jamaica i was there representing switzerland at the world junior championship for track and field i got noticed by some u.s coaches who wanted me to represent their university and also get an opportunity to get a university degree shortly after that i got my first offer with deloitte in the miami office i stayed there for about two years then i moved back to switzerland uh started in the zurich office for about three years and then moved back to geneva for four years i had a great run at deloitte but at some point i felt like i needed to get more credibility on the market so i started looking around and as i was no longer looking for a new position i got contacted by a bank a private bank in switzerland engineer so this private bank offered me to be the group ceo it was a newly created role and i took on the challenge for about four years as i was enjoying my role as the group ceo of that private bank i started to look for new challenges i was in touch with a lot of colleagues from deloitte who kept praising me about how well things were going there and how some things had changed and i started that to feel like i needed to give it a shot so i got in touch with a couple of partners had lunches lengthy discussion with them and they convinced me that this was the right move so i decided to come back to deloitte [Music] so today my role at deloitte i'm a director in risk advisory i'm basically covering all serb service line of risk advisory whether it's cyber security where my deep expertise lies and operational risk strategic risk financial risk the beauty of that role is that i can connect the dots right i can bring the right people to the right engagement i can bring the right expertise whether it's in zurich basel geneva or elsewhere in the world to the team to best serve the clients [Music] working at deloitte is great you can be accepted for who you are especially respected from what you're bringing to the table your expertise your drive and your willingness to succeed another thing that's great about working with deloitte is the huge network of people that either work or have worked for deloitte and it's great possibilities when you look for another opportunity when you look for information you can always reach out to somebody that you know or somebody that's worked with deloitte and if you ever come across somebody that has worked with deloitte they would always be friendly they would always be helpful being a father of four daughters makes me even more proud to work for deloitte for a company that values so much diversity and that it's working so hard to level the playing field and who knows maybe one day all my daughters will work at deloitte [Music]
