how are you doing from we watched a movie you're watching all three blair witch movies this is one of the weirdest franchises ever it is blair which 1999 is my number one favorite horror movie i've never met a blair witch originalist before until tonight i'm jealous you guys were old enough to see it i was like eight i saw it years later and we were counting down the days for those of you that are younger if you're watching this like fan footage didn't exist then there was no so me as a kid i'm thinking this is real but when i saw it i was so disappointed man i had such high hopes i left the theater i just kept waiting i wanted to see the witch if you made a list of rules of cinema rule number one never talk about fight club rule number two never talk about fight club rule number three never show the witch i think that if they had gone if they tried to show the witch in some fashion i know this is this is blasphemy to you well we won't talk about it now because we're going to get there but yeah we'll win we'll get to 2016. which is in days gone by were roasted just like my vienna sausage how do you feel about vienna sausages the tiny little weenies in the can i don't know if i've ever had them you've never had those jesus lord you should try them sometimes it's disgusting but it's good it's this nice thing but it's good tiny watery bolognese in a can it's like yeah and there are piles of rocks outside of our toast it's just [ __ ] stacked rocks yeah you know you know what was in my mind as a kid though i was thinking like man that witch outside the tent while you were sleeping but how easy would have been for them to screw that up because if they came out there and like drip blood everywhere it's like i will eat your soul or something basic like that it wouldn't have been scary it would have been so obvious it's threatening that someone was outside of it right that's what scary and is now not here come on seriously if you have the map i just want i just want to know that you have it one of my favorite parts of the whole movie the laziest bird ever flipped it's all it's all bent up and [ __ ] i find it very cool that i get laughed at because my shoes are wet for the rest of the day i find that [ __ ] hilarious josh looks like every uh metal drummer i've ever seen it was useless i kicked that [ __ ] into the creek it was your friend and we were on like a backpacks trip give me dinner yeah that [ __ ] be dead all over the place there it is holy [ __ ] oh yeah here we go that's iconic i'm the gingerbread man yeah it is such an iconic [ __ ] really good everybody immediately knows what it is it's like there's no question go [ __ ] go oh here we go this is the big one she didn't turn the camera in the right way to catch it but they were there and they had they were there like white morphs right running through the woods yes for real oh my god what the [ __ ] is that jesus it's literally the director's like he's just helicoptering his dick in the woods is great the witch is back there like this motherfucker's spitting josh you know what i imagine when i was a kid like imagine like the witch dragging him through the woods like and just like trying to like pull them to him i've got the witch yelling in his voice oh [ __ ] yeah that's where my mind goes thank you for the choice i just i just yeah did you get a chill i did i just imagine her just going like this and she's like like not moving and she's just like standing almost and and like a sentence oh my god thank you for years of therapy from now on that was great you know all the different theories of what people think happened like do you ever look into that no so there's the one obvious of course is that there's a witch okay in the woods another one is that then they mention it they even say in the movie they're like even if it's not a witch if there's some [ __ ] hillbillies [ __ ] with us that's [ __ ] scary too like you know one of them says it josh i think says it the final one is that josh and mike got [ __ ] pissed off at heather and her [ __ ] with her you never heard about that no i've never heard that yeah that's that's that really does set it up on its head though at the same time if it was real if the footage just was found and these people were missing the authorities are never going to admit that oh it must have been that [ __ ] weird must have been you know so the story in the news would be okay the story would be either these days or something right right yeah yeah that's what they would go with so the [ __ ] cops were going to hold a [ __ ] press conference at cnn they'd be like the witch came out from the creek oh this is it give it to me do it tell me what we want josh here we go hey not only is it the first round footage it's also the first unboxing video it's the dark web unboxing [ __ ] i guess i owe him 10 bucks from the tooth fairy just keep that thing at least under your pillow it's a big-ass camera how do you work this god damn oh man the blair witch process when that happened everybody in the theater right now is going is it is that is it is it is that and there was no marvel like post for credit sequence so like that you know of but we're gonna keep watching it's weird to have a movie that the movie didn't scare you but the lead up scared you worse than any movie you've ever [ __ ] seen so for me it's still like it's still got it so i say we get into blair witch 2. what's it called book of shadows book of shadows colon blair witch 2. yeah dude right away let's get in there remember uh it at all like i remember a zany [ __ ] house real world versus road rules challenge around a bonfire clear which edition before i saw it in full long [ __ ] time ago i caught a tiny little bit of it on tv and there was one shot that terrified me it's a shot on a bridge and i think it's played in reverse i know what you're talking about as a kid yeah that's scary as [ __ ] dude oh i'm not crazy is it actually no it really does wait am i going to get scared dude i wish that they had used a fictitious town and possibly thought ahead correct me if i'm wrong but book of shadows has the ultimate oh yeah it does yeah goth chick oh yeah my lord is picturing a girl like like in a cemetery there is no goddamn glare away michael myers or blair witch first covet test yeah and this is quarantine for everyone yeah 30 watching this is exactly what it was a good movie yeah so 1999 is the original blair witch when do you think this movie came out i'm gonna say oh two i'm gonna go two like blade runner 2049 blair witch 2049 i think comic-con was happening and i think it was called the woods or some [ __ ] like that i think it played i think people went in for the woods yeah and when they left the theater the entire lobby had been redesigned with blair witches right pretty sure that's what it was some of the footage shot by james's sister was later found so this is the original movie the final moments of it showed her going into a house really loved seeing it in 16x9 the way it was meant to be seen if the opening scene of 2016 blair witch is josh and mike on trial for killing heather dude that would be insanely good i didn't get it i know that would be them like now like they've been in jail but like they're up for parole right because it's not because you've said it in the present were they were they claiming innocence the entire time absolutely josh doesn't remember anything okay and mike witnessed all of that but was left alive right heather's the only one that's dead and they say there was a lot for as long as i've been friends with james he's wondered what happened to her i think this movie's garbage did you guys like it i like it we're flipping it around perfect do we all agree blair witch 2 is the best one i like this movie and again this goes back to me being in 1999 or whatever [ __ ] sitting in a movie theater and being pissed off they showed the [ __ ] witch and i needed to see that goddamn witch and i saw him do you know about that by the way that it's not supposed to be the witch i didn't know i'll tell you about that oh my god just move back a little bit oh are they gonna do a tick tock okay here we go how far does it go oh no like 100 meters is the max i think i want to point out the drone itself i was like man you guys are going to take this [ __ ] drone footage and you guys are going to give like a huge scare you guys are going to do something crazy with it that you didn't do jack [ __ ] with it it gets caught in a [ __ ] tree when the drone goes up in the air does anyone else's butthole feel weird let me check let me check yeah your butthole feels a little weird when i get into heights my butthole feels weird and when that drone went up my butthole felt weird all these granola bars in the background no bottles that's a [ __ ] shot where's the bottle of water very similar to how a lot of movies have been doing star wars the force awakens you know i was like a retread of the of a new hope exactly jurassic world right it's one of those like what are they called a requel yes it's a sequel but it's kind of a reboot are they doing vienna sausages no those are too big to be the enemies yeah you're right there is a recall going on here how do you guys feel honestly though like the fact that you know they're doing this found footage kind of thing but it's so [ __ ] clean they could have recreated that blair witch fuel which is like a shitty camera so like they could have gone like the blair witch 2 and done something completely new what if you did a hardcore prequel and you went like back in the [ __ ] like mid-1800s well you go back to the 1700s when it happened didn't they say was in the 1700s what's his name yeah yeah all the way through not a found footage movie because the [ __ ] cameras tell me where you are hey get a shot of this there we go the finger the faker rate the birds in the blair witch franchise number three original number two this one number one the owl that's the second one when was the last time you saw us i kind of dig the time travel part yes so that's the only one interesting i did too it's been five days since we saw you that's [ __ ] awesome that's awesome wait yeah ready ready you know this one the sun is not coming up that's [ __ ] great that is building and expanding upon a concept from the first movie and i like it you're there forever you never escape there is no way out you're going in circles scary i expected watching this movie when they did the time thing when he said we've been five days that part from that moment on for the rest of the movie i thought time doesn't exist right it's the 90s it's the 2000s it's the 2010s they roll up and they see a campsite in the distance as they get closer they you hear literally you hear dialogue from the first movie not from the first movie they're running through the woods and you hear heather go what the [ __ ] is that it's them with their drones and [ __ ] cause in the 90s they wouldn't know what a drone was yeah because of the 90s oh [Applause] he's wearing a camera while he sleeps in his ear you know what i'm saying that's how it works there it is like right there [ __ ] my ass no the little [ __ ] girl the little [ __ ] girl [Applause] i'm gonna put makeup on my four-year-old tomorrow and send you a picture of it and she will look scarier than that girl on the bridge from playwrights too that's you dude that was good though what's wrong with that she changed forms she could be anything right like so okay in the woods she was white i don't know in the woods she was white and now she said what he said she's like and now she's what she can change races she's a witch the writer of the movie responding to someone on twitter asking why they showed the witch go ahead read this out loud and you don't see the witch on screen that's someone else who the [ __ ] oh [ __ ] a minute you know what happened is like they showed the witch and then people like that [ __ ] sucks and then he was like that's not the witch though there ain't no goddamn player that's funny she's a [ __ ] alien wait does it really end the same as the first one okay so that was it that's what that was the end this movie had none of the goodness of the original blair witch movie none of it but they did have one thing that movie didn't have which is a tiny bit of payoff showing some so like years later when you watch you're like i can appreciate that i'm into it but when you watch them back to back which is the first time i've ever done that i'm like oh man you missed all the nuance of the area yeah blair with abs there's absolutely zero nuance yeah you missed it all i'll be at
