When City Planning in Cities Skylines requires Hexagon Islands

even if you're not familiar with Catan you can get a very clear idea of how this actually works it's a great bass city and they have all these highways done too so we don't need to worry about most of the road network because like it's already made for us I want to keep this city as clean as possible I do not want to damage ruin the how the roads are laid out though I'm just gonna start by connecting all of these to each other very organized sophisticated city layout here and what we'll do to start is we'll just fill in with houses the river direction is a bit funky because of hexagonal layout I think it should be okay yeah we don't have infinite money or anything too so I gotta play this legit an additional thing here so only legit natural means for our city it's fine I like this little bridge effect it's a shame it clips into the train tracks but that's fun and we will connect them all with water we've ran out of money already I shouldn't have expanded so quickly and the power isn't anywhere near them all let's just restart we're gonna control ourselves this time we're not gonna link every single bit of road so once we get a functioning city on the first tile we can then expand out we can relocate everything like I want one of these to be just a commercial tile I want another one to just be industry power island where it's literally just like wind turbines everywhere garbage island so this middle one's gonna be a bit of everything just as we get started but we don't completely ruin the bill which island has come to be the one from lost Oh No and then we pop all the services along this street here a bit far away from presidential but that's okay pop it here on the corner see it that those two guys are happy I wish I had enough to afford to school but we're still kind of in the red they're taking their sweet time to move in or whine to walk for hours to get to the school oh no you just you just drive around the ring little Timmy you can get in a Prius and go to school like I'm sure it's okay health care is costing a pretty penny I might just have to shut this place down they don't have enough electricity currently oh I guess it doesn't matter too much this is a city skyline so you finally appease the OCD for now at least oh don't worry I'll mess up the design somewhere along the way okay there's a lot of crime now we're gonna we'll crack down on that soon we don't have enough money just yet but maybe a bouncy castle park will just appease you guys yep yep there's so much happier already cool just don't commit any crimes for a moment or two on a wise little government doing and stop the fire so where's the fire there's no fires here like listen here like don't complain about the fires when it's raining there's nothing wrong with the city apart from the rampant crime Jesus Christ guys rare balls where thanks for those thousand bits less you do the more you get pause the game goes silent and you'll surely get millions of bits I just don't do anything Kwami content I can be one of those like streamers that's way too involved in the game and completely neglects actually saying anything it just like is 100% focused and like maybe after half an hour they'll like make like a small little come to the stream cry or it's like think I miss that jump and that's all you get until another half-hour passes yep let's sort the crime with all the money that's been coming in because this is getting out of hand so we'll pop this down next to the school okay rip that street that up that's fine I'm sorry I planned this kind of poorly they apologize to anyone we wanted this to look a bit nicer you know tanks of Road Anarchy at least I can just drive straight truth attempt it technically is a road you just got to drive over all the garbage and hop the wall we have literally every service next to each other pretty good well you can drop the kids off to school go visit your doctor report the criminal even living on your street put out the fire and then drop off your older kids at school everything you need and is even a big bite here and go get some food just don't mind the sirens will even put trow in a bouncy castle here comes with a free tree in the middle of the road yeah I think the pipe looks wonky because this pipe isn't central and now it's just gonna be really off for this side of the hexagon but you know we got the entire area covered so I'm sure it doesn't matter too much just gonna fiercely upset a lot of people let's just pop an electrical piling that doesn't exist down okay - don't line the hanging campus they were almost finished the first grid in the city we just have like 25 more to do it looks amazing from the air it's just a shame so many people are dying and there's so much pollution of air but you know we'll sort this we'll have like a better system I was thinking that it's like a beautiful lie kind of pile with the lake that can be the industry quarter hey Don have been able to catch your streams last few days and I felt so sad about your dementia giggles - it the lake is gone that makes things a lot easier it is going to flood here for a while cuz we displaced all that water but we can just wait for that to settle it's only some partial flood ok it's not that bad there's glue this is truck and literally stuck in this guy's house it's it's ok I'll have like a ring road around the roundabout so that it's not chaos that's also not centered it's fine oh that's gonna upset so many people fix it you stupid excuse of a man I cost money to do go on install life I've never heard that one before be a wile I think like we haven't even touched most of the grid yet we have one tile complete and then we're working on the industry tile I'm tempted to get mods both the turn on the mod for demand should I do it and we'll just make this like a super city very quickly yeah well at least they can't complain about there being enough work they are all having a worker shortage though oh yeah okay yeah we need to up the population drastically then cuz this is gonna be real problematic in a minute the roads are getting a bit choppy I apologize for that but why these guys living in the middle of the road [Applause] God Almighty noise pollution would be terrible there yeah the power problems are sorted sewage is fine that rivers not looking too good but that's okay a lot of industry is closed not enough buyers for products oh my god we have no commercial still okay we need to get on that okay just just stay inside it's not that bad just gotta get the shops open come on lightning fast sales just by now get them while they're hot a lot of buildings are on fire now but we're making a lot more money so I think we solved the problem if anything they're still complaining about rubbish that's fine the industry is still complaining about the NOAA beating sell goods we have more people coming in this will solve the problem all of the shops closed okay well you know that doesn't matter because the demand is so high that like unify just bulldoze the line of these new shops will take their place look no one really cared who is symmetrical anyway I think it's grind that's lovely like arches the Orlan now get the hospital soon just have to get a handle on the garbage those people are dead anyway so we can just pull those were homes for dumps now enough educated workers Oh Mike I was afraid of this that guy he just built his house on the dump okay guess the land is quite cheap if you think about it it's just impossible to find the balance between these hexagons I want this to be industry Island but then apparently garbage is piled up literally everywhere residential item keeps getting sick because we have to put more dumps here to actually deal with the garbage shop Island just apparently can't find shoppers and then new residential island everyone is just dying not enough customers that's because they all died on this island meteorologists had issued a column where jobs residents should seek shelter immediately it's not what we need right now as long as it doesn't like stars 20 squares down in the area there's the shelter immediately if any is available Oh God that don't even do anything oh yeah no it's just there we go I tried guys [Music] you [Music]
