Wheel Picks My Nail Art *shocking*

let's hope they don't fall off well hallo everyone it's me christine again not that long ago i let you guys my subscribers pick my nail art i asked you guys to vote through polls on twitter what the different steps of my nail art would be and most of you helped me out with your decision-making though some of you tried to [ __ ] with me but in the end i would say my nails turned out looking pretty good so i thought it would be fun to do something similar again where my manicure is determined for me but this time i want to do it with an element of randomness so today we're gonna play [Music] what is we love nail art my friends it means that i spin a wheel on which i've written a bunch of options for nail art and it's gonna decide for me so first things first I got to take off this manicure so we can start fresh you know what that means it's time for some porn we ain't got any options repeal boy I have to take this off it looks so nice though it's the hollow taco man you carry is this really random if I'm the one who gets to choose all the outcomes on the wheel but then again is anything ever really truly random you know who's a mathematician and literally has their PhD in math men don't get jealous I'm calling your brother hello there how are you doing I'm good but I have a question I don't know the answer to it what is randomness is there an equation for randomness I just go in Excel and I write equals R and between parentheses one to fifty close parentheses and then you get the number of boyfriends that you need to get through to find a band there is this thing that [ __ ] do and they're like I'm totally random sometimes I pick chicken for lunch and sometimes I pick fish so how do they calculate that here um say [ __ ] is so funny still confused can you ever make something truly random so what you're saying is my wheel is okay we've got the scientific approval thanks Matt if you're looking for more answers to your nerdy questions you can follow abstract matt on instagram and ask him them yourself so first up basecoat we've got a ridge filling base coat that I'm still testing we've got a peel off base coat prototypes and a long lasting base coat but I think I'll also include the no base coat option just to make things more challenging because this is a game and we playing with fire so I've got 14 slots and four options and that does not reduce to an even number these three and a half will be Rindge filler peel-off nun peel-off it's an old prototype bottle it was never just gonna say hollow we were just testing the hollow foil you know I could have just used one of those random wheel generators from the internet but no I had to get a real wheel didn't I I haven't seen one of these things since like grade six like what am I gonna do with this after this video maybe I will use it to help me decide what I should eat for lunch actually since we've got some time what candy will it be today oh it's gonna be chatty oh there you go a lot easier now for the base color how about I just use the colors that are already on the wheel yellow alright yellow it is then watch out watch will this manicure be only the wheel of nail art nose and we shall see you know I didn't even have to put this color on coz my nails are already yellow original subscribers know I almost drank that I meant to drink this now we got to figure out what type of nail art I'm gonna do and for that we got to go to the nail art catalog also known as simply analogical 2015 and 16 on YouTube so we've got gradients and nail by nose well I did those last day crosshatch um that was cool seafoam sponging I remember that so I'm gonna draw from my old videos and write a couple of these very specific nail art ideas as my options spelled gradient is first because it was the first nail art I ever did on YouTube how about a classic glitter gradient perfect for prom New Year's Eve or any day actually crosshatch is tricky but let's see how the wheel feels today definitely gonna put seafoam sponging on back in the day I also did a lot of freehand swirls with like these Japanese nail art brushes so we're just gonna put freehand swirls up here and pray that it doesn't lend on this color blocking okay yep a glitter placement yes so we've got seven different nail art techniques from old-school simply illogical days I just remembered I have this yellow base so whatever the option is this might be ugly [Music] it's unskilled okay we're going right back to 2014 instead of using the wheels colors to determine the second color and the scale gradient I'm gonna pre pick some colors just so it doesn't look that ugly all right ready let's hope they don't fall off blue guess I'll have to make do before I can get started I need to know what shape the scale gradient is so we need to pick a nail vinyl so we've got single Chevron's zigzag crunch tip curb wave shape straight line staircase shapes and semicircles this thing is definitely going to break oh my god waves [ __ ] so I've done wave scaled gradient nail art before actually it is very tricky to do that kind of gradient especially with colors that don't really blend well together Oh what am I done I mean what have you done wheel wheel of fortune' my ass more like wheel of misfortune so before we get to gradient ink first things first you're gonna apply some liquid latex also I just want to mention that I think some of the beauty gurus have done this before yes it was ELISA Ashley who did my wheel chooses my makeup and then there were other people who used a wheel to do other things but today I'm using a wheel to pick my nail art that's what we love to watch on YouTube right people embarrassing themselves by letting a wheel make decisions for think I'm gonna go blue from the cuticle to yellow cuz in that way when I put the vinyl over it from the middle of the nail I'll do blue to yellow again should I call Ben's brother back I'm just poking fun of myself okay the truth is I really did enjoy doing these kind of very complicated gradients back in the day it was just a big mind you know like figuring out [ __ ] how am I gonna make this work if I have to put this layer on top of this layer but which directions should the colors go kind of fun it's like a puzzle for your brain or for your nails I mean these days I just have less space in my brain for such puzzles so instead I've been keeping things simple by painting of five-year-olds nails so the other trick was kale gradients is making a very small gradient path the blue and yellow gradient needs to fit on my nail twice so I have to make each gradient very narrow if that makes sense I mean having longer nails also helps with doing scale gradients but you're not really here for this tutorial are you do a little practice it's been a while something I actually don't blend together to be that ugly kinda looks like an ocean that's been urinated in but it's fine did you guys ever watch game shows growing up as a kid or are you a kid right now who watches game shows our game show still even on TV these days do people even watch TV I don't really watch much TV except 90-day fiance yeah I watch that trash good fresh fade that kid save these days when they cut their hair a fresh fade right I wouldn't know I don't cut my hair she feels familiar she feels good now that I have hollow taco I might be more inspired to do nail art with it just because it's kind of fun like using your own stuff I did make a hollow taco YouTube channel actually there's nothing on it right now but just in case I felt like you know doing some hollow taco nail art that didn't make sense to upload on my main channel anymore because that's not what this channel is for anymore but I don't know if I'll have time to be honest I would love to make some like quick easy voiceover nail arts for Halle taco or some demos but I'm working too many jobs at the moment [Music] alright now that we're nice and cleaned up we got to add a glossy taco cuz we're gonna add navai nose name [ __ ] okay let me explain before you put a nail vinyl on a base color you want to make sure that that base color is nicely sealed in and very dry so that when you peel off the nail vinyl it doesn't rip all your hard work off so we're gonna use this thick quick dry glossy taco prototype so it's not just a nice thick glossy taco you want when working with nail vinyls it really has to be a quick dry because we don't want any premature peel porn no I know by the end of this manna here I'm gonna heavily nine coats of nail polish but I don't know thick nails never really bother me I don't mind but you know maybe even my co-workers do when I'm typing on my keyboard okay now we're gonna let that dry cue the cat clock that you cannot see because the wheel is so rudely in the way just gonna grab this little guy I'm gonna lay the vinyl down right in the middle just got to make sure the vinyls nice and secure down on the drive now wait what's that on my other hand it's hollow flaky taco over one code black what else would it be hey this is the first time I've been sitting filming in this room since hollow taco launched it's kind of surreal to be like oh hey look it's actually here and you guys already know about it I kind of selfishly had a really fun time keeping it all a secret for so long though every time I use something from hala taco I was testing in my mind I was just like no one knows but now I guess it's not a secret anymore I'm just gonna protect the rest of my nail here with liquid latex so that when I sponge on the gradient on the top end of the nail it doesn't ruin my bottom layer gradient at the other end of the nail alright here we go again I'm just using the other edge of the sponge so it's nice and fresh this wave vinyl is very tricky how did I do this before to the watch your own video pristine [Music] all right we dry let's go get it let's get it let's gradient them now doing a scaled gradient is one of the trickier nail arts I'd say because you just don't know if it's gonna turn out well until you're actually done when you peel off the final layer if you [ __ ] then you have to start over back at square one maybe that's part of what first drew me to scaled gradients living life on the edge not knowing if I was gonna fall up don't breathe don't breathe oh my god it worked holy [ __ ] whoa oh my god would you look at that I I didn't find up man I gotta start having more confidence in myself all right we're done the nail art now I know it's probably really predictable that yes I do want to ask the wheel if we should put on a hallow taco I'm also gonna give the will the option of not putting on a hollow taco flaky linear' scattered Matt like Ben's brother no pollo taco let's just add shimmer as an option and how about some iridescent ladies sure why not okay special effects taco what'll it be [Music] Thank You Haleh taco one of my favorite good job wheels sometimes you just want to use what you love and and I love what I made so I'm using it just gonna add a very thin sparse coat so you can still see our beautiful little swirl scaled gradient under any kind of reminds me of the ocean and these little Hall of flakies are like the pollution now the last step is not up for debate because we're adding a nice thick coat of glossy quick dry taco whether the wheel likes it or not as no matter what your manicure you should always seal it in with the mastic coat the glas.t taco this way we can keep it on longer and have my co-workers wonder what the [ __ ] am I thinking I
