What WAS That Business on Cato Neimoidia

[Music] in revenge of the sith anakin mentioned saving obi-wan's life ten times but obi-wan claims that business on kato nemoya doesn't doesn't count today i'm going to do a quick throwback to the star wars minute days all about what that business actually was we currently don't have a canon answer but for legends we can look to the book labyrinth of evil which takes place very closely before the events of episode 3. obi-wan and anakin travel to cato nemoya to capture newt gunray obi-wan drops his rebreather which anakin later finds while they're separated obi-wan encounters a large group of battle droids and is simultaneously gassed with a substance that basically makes him drunk anakin catches up to obi-wan and gives him his rebreather so he can recover all anakin really does in that moment is help him sober up with the rebreather obi-wan does all the actual work so i would side with kenobi on this one that doesn't count although fighting while basically drunk could have led to some problems down the line so i can see anakin demanding that as the 10th time he saved obi-wan's life that's the basic story unfortunately canon hasn't give us an alternate version trailers for the siege of mandalore in the final season of the clone wars briefly gave us hope but the bridged planet turned out to be yerbana instead what's more is the siege of mandalore basically overwrites the events of labyrinth of evil the book goes right up until the attack on coruscant and revenge of the sith and of course the siege of mandalore does the same showing us exactly what obi-wan and anakin were up to at that point in time so we may never know what truly happened between kenobi and skywalker on keto nemoidia or whether or not it counted but for now i'm going to trust obi-wan but based on your own speculation let me know if you think it counts in the comments did anakin save obi-wan 9 or 10 times if you haven't already please like this video subscribe to the channel follow us on twitch twitter instagram and facebook and consider checking out our patreon page as always thanks for watching and may the force be with you
