For over a thousand generations, the Jedi Knights were the guardians of peace and justice in the Old Republic. Before the dark times. Before the Empire. How did my father die? Vader was seduced by the Dark Side of the Force. Now the Jedi are all but extinct.

The dark history of the star wars universe is one of the biggest draws. It added drama and dimension to what so often was so kid focused. cough jar jar cough. That's why Rogue One is still my favorite, hit the war tone so well.

Wow, that was awesome!! I was nine years old when my older brother Louis asked me to go to the movies with him downtown Wheaton Illinois with his friends. “ what! Me your little brother get to hang out with the older guys!!” $1.25 is all it cost to see a New Hope with a large Coke and a bucket of popcorn. I remember when I saw the star cruiser come into frame ... my first thoughts were “we are in space?” Little did I know that I would become a huge fan of Star Wars my whole life, like so many other people. Now in my 50s I cried like a little nine-year-old boy when Han Solo was killed. I almost got up in the theater and left, I was heartbroken. To whoever edited this video thank you so much for that truly ... it was awesome to watch, it brought back so many memories keep up the good work!! toNy Bobbin
