[Introduction]
Since I want to build a portfolio of things I want to get animated on the channel, I’m
going to bring this idea to the table because it’s one that many things that I’ll get
asked to do. What if Dio won? Dio had many battles throughout his life,
but we’ll be going about the most important ones. Consider subscribing if you’ve been on the
channel. [Scenario 1]
Now, for the first scenario, we’re going to be going to the battle where Jonathan and
Dio had fought. The mindset that Dio had during this fight
is a more cynical and violent one, to where he essentially just wanted to rule the world. His more nuanced wants don’t happen yet
in this scenario as he will not be underwater reflecting on his approach to the world. So, Dio wins! The Hamon clan present in the castle go down
along with Jonathan Joestar and Speedwagon. Now what’s next? Well, Dio should now be pursuing his conquest
of power. Which realistically should not be that hard
considering he did it in Stardust Crusaders fairly well. The problem with Phantom Blood Dio, is that
I imagine we’re going to have a lot more zombies. But I don’t think he’ll just be disassembling
civilizations by turning them into zombies. When you consider that a Zombie created by
Dio was able to gain political power, it’ll probably be more so on that route. While Dio is claiming his territory in the
world, he’s most likely looking to making him stronger entirely. Since this conquest would predate the mining
teams that found the arrow, gravity should bring Dio to the arrows sooner or later. I think he would like to not be weak to the
sun more than anything, but I think that he’d get a stand before he tries to beat the sun
since we saw how well he worked on avoiding the sun in Part 3. So, sooner or later he gets a stand. I think it wouldn’t take Dio too long to
get control of the world and get a stand, but just to make a call to George Joestar
II, let’s say he gets it in 1921. Since this would predate Diavolo finding the
arrows, and Enya getting the arrow to give to Dio, Dio would have to go about testing
the arrows himself. After playing as Hawkeye and making some people
into some stand users, he’d stab himself. So now, we have Dio being stronger than ever,
his world conquest is doing amazing and has no competition. He won, but what else can he do now? He can try to fix the whole “weak to the
sun” problem and pursue the answers on how to beat it. Or, he’ll just enjoy his time ruling, but
there will be a problem in the near future. But let’s cover both scenarios. If Dio doesn’t attempt his goal, then when
the Pillar Men get out, they’d be roaming the world looking for the Red Stone of Aja. If Dio was to disperse the arrows to his henchmen,
then there’s potential that the Pillar Men could get stands before they get the Red Stone,
and that would help them a lot. And if we’re keeping it a stack, all three
of the Pillar Men with a stand versus Dio? That doesn’t sound safe for Dio. But it does sound more in character than trying
to fix his sun weakness. So, what I see happening would be the Pillar
Men reclaiming the earth that Dio once conquered. Now, if Dio tries to find out how to beat
the sun, that’s where it gets interesting. [Scenario 1 Scene]
This is how I’d set the scene. Dio is in the resting place of the Pillar
Men. After inspecting the ruins and seeing what
looks to be statues of men, a minion of Dio most likely triggers some sort of trap which
leads into the awakening of the Pillar Men. Dio would most likely be shocked to see this
stuff, but still try to communicate with the Pillar Men. He’d preface that he’s Dio, the greatest
thing to happen to the earth, and he’d probably go straight to asking about defeating the
sun. Because what’s the point in asking about
who they are when he doesn’t care. Kars wouldn’t like this, and Esidisi would
probably tell Wamuu to take care of this. Wamuu would try to rush Dio, but has The World,
so he could dodge him easily and bash him in the head. After enough of pummeling of Wamuu, Esidisi
would want to jump in next, but Kars would stop him from doing so. Kars would slowly explain that to defeat the
sun, he needs the Red Stone of Aja and a stone mask with the slot for it. In this time, Esidisi is slowly walking around
so that as a team, him, Wamuu, and Kars, surround Dio in a triangle formation. How I’d have Kars finish it up would be
something like, “But this information doesn’t matter to you. Because you’ll never get to it.” And in this moment Kars, Esidisi, and Wamuu
would lunge full-speed into Dio. Dio would laugh and it would be something
like when he was in the middle of the 20-meter Emerald Splash. “Ahahaha, you fools! You don’t know what true power is, when
you have conviction. THE WORLD!” And then he stops time. He monologues a bit. “Dio is who stands at the top, Dio is who
is the strongest in the world! Hinjaku, hinjaku!” And then he “stand barrages” the three
of them. After time resumes, the three fly backwards,
but they catch themselves before slamming into the walls. They’re picking up what’s going on. And since Dio doesn’t have any hamon, the
damage they’re taking is easy to come back from. Dio takes notice of the situation as he is
some sort of uncomfortable given the circumstances. He assures them he’s not running away, but
instead going to the Red Stone of Aja since he has it in his possession, just not on him. He stops time one last time, and disappears. Now, Dio has a lot of important possessions
across the world because of the people he controls, so it’s most likely going to take
a bit to find out as to where he was keeping the Red Stone. The Pillar Men are going to be right behind
him in searching for it too. Dio is going to send his “stand users”,
the Pillar Men will fight, and win against most, because consider the time we’re in,
most of the “stand users” we know in Part 3 wouldn’t even be around now. We can have a huge climatic ending, but Dio
is going to get the Red Stone and become the Ultimate Life form before Kars could. After becoming the Ultimate Life form, Dio
could make the Pillar Men bow to his power or die. And considering Kars’ power complex, they
might just die trying to take him down. Now, when this whole story arc is over, what
is Dio doing then? He can mature over time and then pursue the
idea of Heaven, and then that would trail off into an Eyes of Heaven type of story,
but we knew how that went. [Scenario 2]
Scenario 2, Dio wipes the Joestar bloodline on the boat. He was still defeated on the castle, but this
time he just had better luck on the boat, and everyone got taken care of. Since Dio is going to wait at the bottom of
the ocean until the fishermen are supposed to pull him out in 1983, then that means a
lot is going to be happening on the overworld. For one, there is no Joestar lineage to help
Speedwagon and the remaining Zeppeli’s against the Pillar Men. Since that’s the case, that means Dio might
not even come back since the world would be ran by Ultimate Kars. How is Dio supposed to be fished out of the
ocean when there’s nobody to do it? If Dio was to truly defeat the Joestar bloodline
on the ship, he would end up losing in the worst way possible. Instead of Kars being pronounced brain dead
in space, you would have Dio going the same route but just in the ocean. That’s truly terrifying. Because really, what do you know about rolling
down in the deep when your brain goes… Someone please help me. [Scenario 3]
Scenario 3! Dio beating Jotaro. Now, considering that this scenario is the
basis of the JoJo game, Eyes of Heaven, that should be enough, ideally. Especially since this was an original story
supervised by Araki, but I’ve been asked for my input on it for years. So, here’s what I think. Dio pursues heaven with Pucci, obviously. He becomes Heaven Ascension Dio, but I’d
like to change a couple of the things about his abilities. For one, it’s abilities are not limited
The World’s hands. I think it was a choice made to make sense
and give him the ability to be beaten, but it’s possible to get around that. Given Dio a radius for his reality manipulation,
similar to his time stop. He can still do anything that he wants to,
but my only change is that he can’t beat Giorno with it. An aware and well connected Giorno is required
to defeat Dio. What I want is a Joestar barrage beating both
Dio and Pucci, but as to get it and how it can make sense, that’s the odd part. Because we can just end the scenario with
Dio running up into Italy at the wrong time, and Giorno does the both of them in, but that’s
not as fun. So, as a fun, but not exactly the most practical
thing. Imagine they were to go to the coordinates
directly, in a different universe, at the same time as Pucci was supposed to do it originally. You can go to a New Moon day at any time really,
they happen like clockwork, but they go to when Pucci was supposed to do it because they
want him to get Made in Heaven mad easy. It just so happens that the universe they
went to so they could steal from that universe’s Pucci, is the same universe where Giorno and
Josuke showed up to help defeat Pucci with Jotaro and Jolyne. So now, there’s two Pucci’s and one Heaven
Ascension Dio. Huge battle, grandiose battle even, but they
all join together to do a whole Joestar barrage to take out everyone. Big ole happy ending, Dio is stopped. Our friends aren’t brought back, which sucks,
but our experiences help mold us into the people we are now, so maybe we just enjoy
what had been and what is rather than what could’ve. I don’t know, something, something philosophy. Thank you all for watching, hopefully I’ll
see you all in the next one. Until then, peace out and God speed.
