What Happened To Ceeday?

[Music] we haven't heard the voice of c day on the youtube platform since his final live stream on the 1st of december 2020. that was over six months ago now and if we ignore this short live stream his last actual video was posted approximately 16 months ago cd has well and truly smoke bombed out of one of the most successful fortnite channels in the history of youtube creating a question regarding his current whereabouts and furthermore his motive for quitting despite there being hoaxes as crazy as c day literally dying this doesn't seem to be the case as various pieces of recent evidence gathered from around the internet suggest otherwise this video will explain every single event leading up to sea day's disappearance so we can ultimately answer the question of what happened to c day despite fortnite being the game sea day became most known for it wouldn't actually be the game on which sea day would begin his youtube journey that game actually happened to be destiny and despite having deleted videos dating back to the 24th of april 2016 the earliest video still available on cday's channel is titled asylum trials highlights and loot cd's early videos didn't really have anything within them that made him stand out from the crowd they were somewhat similar to the many other montages available at the time a simple compilation of impressive kills with a bit of background music the simplicity of these videos reduced the likelihood for them to gain traction on the youtube algorithm however it wouldn't be long before the simple nature of his videos would begin to change and see they would see his first signs of a growing loyal audience in early 2017 ceda would begin to place various sound effects and memes within his compilations giving them a unique flavor comparative to the rest of the destiny videos on youtube oh he just gave me the right left that bro on top of adding memes to his destiny content ceda would also begin setting himself arbitrary challenges to complete within the videos such as the ultimate hand cannon challenge what's up guys it's today and today we're going to attempt the hardest challenge on destiny these unique elements within the videos caused cd's subscriber count to reach its first relatively big milestone of 10 000 subscribers approximately one year after uploading his first video and considering this video style was clearly working the uploads would continue cd continually advanced his editing and video making skills in the process the quality of my videos are going to increase i could finally record in 1080 also updating his thumbnail so they were in line with the style of many others at the time only a year after reaching 10 000 subscribers say they would hit a hundred thousand subscribers uploading a video titled thank you celebrating the achievement you guys have no idea and i mean it like you literally don't know just how thankful i am and while a hundred thousand subscribers was extremely exciting there were some minor problems appreciating the accomplishment and to top it off how slowly we've been gaining subs did not help this at all cd's subscriber growth had dropped off fairly significantly he had steady growth leading up to around 90 000 subscribers then borderline stagnation the reason for this well the popularity of destiny had dropped off significantly which caused a flow-on effect for sea day's destiny videos but cd seemed to make the realization that his editing and video making skills could be transferred to a new game if he wanted to try uploading some alternate content this would come into fruition on a day when the destiny 2 servers happened to be down and cd would upload a video appropriately titled when the destiny 2 servers are down playing fortnite battle royale by the way feeling about some epic fortnight gameplay of gameplay for sea day as after numerous games he was unable to win a match ultimately resulting in him declaring well that'll do for the first and last fortnight video i will ever upload however hilariously only three days later ceda would break this statement by uploading a video titled escritt csdfmd in which he would return to fortnite attempting to win his first victory royale for the channel well well well we're back despite the sea day being fairly average at the game viewers took a liking to his personality and editing style ultimately breaking the drought for sea day subscriber growth also reaffirming that he should continue uploading fortnite content only one month after hitting a hundred thousand subscribers cd would hit two hundred thousand and while two hundred thousand subscribers was somewhat impressive if you were to tell c day that within only another two more months he'd have two million subscribers he might have just laughed however this is exactly what happened cd's unique videos in conjunction with the exploding popularity of fortnite led his subscriber growth to reach into the stratosphere 60 days after hitting a hundred thousand subscribers cd would hit 1 million just a couple months ago we hit 100k and i felt really accomplished ever since then this channel has been blowing up on a scale that is literally beyond me and only 90 days after hitting 1 million c day would hit 3 million and while 3 million subscribers over a period of only five months was impressive perhaps sea day became complacent with the growth because it would be at around the same time that cede would take his first break from content creation in mid-2018 c-day would disappear for one week then two weeks then three weeks without uploading a video resulting in a vast quantity of questions from his fanbase who else keeps checking on his channel or community to see if he's uploaded or said something is it me or do days feel longer without a sea day video it's day 875 without a sea day video i've lost all signs of hope tell my family i love them after a full month without uploading cd would post a video titled i survived ligma in which would explain that the reason he hadn't been uploading was because he was moving house i've seen a lot of people tell me that moving does not take this long and you're right it really shouldn't have but i've had a lot of [ __ ] ups let's just put it that way and while everyone was stoked to see the return of c day it still displayed his capacity for taking time off without updating his fans regardless see they got back to uploading regularly following this hiatus and the subscriber growth continued further passing 5 million by december 2018 at which point ceda would come up with a new idea to expand his name into the mainstream ironic rivalries with other big creators i'll 1v1 c day and i'll use a pickaxe only i'm down you'll probably be down to for the content on the 4th of december 2018 cd would upload a video titled a message to tfu in which you would respond to the previously displayed video creating the sea day verse tfu rivalry tifu would respond to the video stating bring it on dude with the potential event boosting each creator further into the mainstream sea day never would end up fighting tifu the idea simply fizzled out however it seemed to reveal to ceda that these fake rivalries were a good method for getting extra eyes to his channel so he would go ahead and create another this time with a different creator who would actually respond to his so-called beef i accept the challenge noah but to make sure you can't run away like tifu did i'll be picking the time indeed noah's noah and ceda were two creators who had videos of similar style so it was almost like they had this fridge hum feeling of rivalry from the very beginning however their youtube beef would become official when noah's now would upload a video titled a message to sea day in the exact same style as c day's message to t few so c day this is me officially calling you out for a 1v1 this beef would boost the subscriber growth of ceday massively passing 6.5 million subscribers by early 2020. his video making skills had increased dramatically once again and he would drop bangers such as season x's cancelled season 2020 seasoned and mythical c day then completely disappear off the internet this man was really like when the world needed him most he vanished my man really folded on his youtube career see you next year he wasn't joking after uploading mythical sea day in february 2020 a month would pass then two months then three months it would only be after six months of complete silence that cena would post an instagram story explaining his lack of uploads can confirm this will 100 be my last fortnight video this game died at the black hole epic has proven time and time again that they don't give a [ __ ] nothing matters but adds lmfao they got cardi b on the radio broth and cardi b can't wait to stream four guys though if there's anything you ever wanted to see me do on fort this is the last chance and while this story promised at least one final fortnight video it would never be released a mythical sea day remains as the final video uploaded to the sea day channel following this instagram story another four months of silence would pass without any update on his location it had gotten to the point where people were questioning whether or not c day was dead and it seemed as though cd was gone and might not ever be returning however this wouldn't be the case and in december 2020 we'd finally see a reappearance from sea day on the youtube platform after 10 months of silence since his prior upload cd would randomly begin a youtube live stream to record his reaction to the galactus event at the end of chapter 2 season 4. his view is terrible i can't see anything he's too big to keep in view besides some hilarious comments from noah regarding cda's disappearance everyone's convinced like i've been getting non-stop comments saying i've had you captive in my basement this stream would turn out to be somewhat mediocre and unnoteworthy however in the final minutes of the stream cd would importantly explain why he hadn't been uploading in his own words i don't know depends on what they do with season five because besides fortnite there's there aren't any other games that are fun enough to you know make content on so we'll see as mentioned cd explained that he'd lost interest in playing fortnite and there simply hadn't been any other games he deemed suitable for making videos on as a result perhaps his motivation dipped dramatically because at the end of the day if he didn't enjoy playing the game he's not going to enjoy making the videos for many other creators we've covered in our what happened series their final moments appear to be somewhat foggy and speculation is required to figure out what happened to them however when we posed the question of what happened to c day we've been blessed to have an almost word-for-word reasoning for his disappearance he simply lost interest in the game he was playing and as a result the content had ceased cd would end the live stream by stating that for the future of me uploading it's looking grim showing that ceda didn't expect to make a genuine comeback anytime soon besides the possibility that he might livestream the next big fortnight event to be honest i might i might um i might stream the next one i don't see why not this answers the question of why c day hasn't been uploading but it doesn't really answer the question of what happened to c day or specifically what he's doing with his life right now this question is best answered by a video uploaded by noah's noah only one week ago in a video titled where is sea day i get this question about a hundred times a second where is he after joking about how cedar was in noah's basement he would reveal that cd had simply been chilling out and playing destiny i should break the news about where he really is and the truth he's in his house he's doing nothing he's playing destiny right now the game he had originally started his youtube journey with c-day's final live stream as well as this update from noah's noah ends our story on somewhat of a pessimistic note but we also have to note that the last time we heard from sea day was around six months ago and when posed with the question of what's a normal day for for you so so what do you do when you wake up that's what everyone wants to know he would answer with feed my dog eat breakfast while living a somewhat retired lifestyle at the age of 22 sounds awesome in theory it's only going to be so long before the boredom gets to sea day and it could be out of this boredom that his desire to return to content creation may [Music] arise
