all right folks we are locked and loaded here today we've got our rods ready to go we've got our ego backpack ready to rock we're back on the tracker today what is up my dudes welcome to another video we are back in milton florida today we're gonna hit up the blackwater river we're doing us a little catch and cook okay so we are going out and we're going to try to catch something edible right here out of this boat right here something that we can bring home because if you didn't see my last cook video i may have failed just a little bit i may have brought back something from the fish market i don't want to do that again we're going to have to catch us something edible today oh what just happened okay all right we're good we're good appreciate it sir yeah that made it makes it a lot easier to stop here but i saw a bunch of bait flipping on top i'm going to start with this husky jerk that i got from carl's bait and tackle because it is middle of the day i want something that suspends so i've got a husky jerk tied on i've also got a voodoo shrimp tied on and so i'm probably gonna just go with those two right now see what happens see if i could there's bait flipping in here so maybe i'll uh maybe i've got like striped bass potential big trout potential i got it i need a keeper fish man so i can bring home i really do i can tell you one thing that looks a lot better is the water oh there's a freaking nice fish dude first freaking second cast okay not the first cast oh my gosh dude i had no idea that got me excited nice little trout man look at here guys sick i threw the husky jerk and then i got to this dock close to this dock and i was like man i'm gonna throw the uh the little shrimp the voodoo shrimp up here he may be a keeper actually let's see oh he is a keeper he is a keeper wow that did not take long at all man that took like a minute like just a minute all right let's get a another cast in there that was uh pretty encouraging if i do say so myself all right and i you know i probably jinxed myself i'm probably not gonna get another keeper oh just what the crud what am i hung on out there dude that's freaking limb brim good gosh i thought i just hooked a beast okay i really did that's the hardest i've set the hook on a stump in my entire life ah dang it i don't think it's coming man i don't think we're i don't know man this is not looking good shoot had to break it dang it that is freaking disappointing we've just had a plethora of up and downs the first few minutes of this trip like i'm freaking look at this now i got a hook stuck in the bottom of my shoe and i can't get it out like it's stuck in there good too dude like who does this brent get your get your life together all right guys we're going with the salt native skelly shrimp now that i got out of my mystery tackle box we're gonna see we know there's fish in here there's also stumps apparently that i didn't know we're here which is all right anyways y'all remember this spot right here this is where i uh it's where i put the kill shot on beach bum that time we went 1v1 oh it's a red it's and there's more with him there's more with him i don't know guys this may be the winner this may be the winner oh dude i don't know yes sir we're like yes sir this is going to be so close oh my gosh we're like coming out of the freaking wire you can't pull it out of your butt like this hand me the measuring stick busting out a slot red in the uh in the fourth quarter two minute warning it's when champions are made i usually catch a fish here there's a lot of structure here i like to stop for five minutes this is a five-minute stop like eight to ten casts if i get them good if not we move god how many times am i going to hook a freaking stop today crap this is way out here too man i'm not even like throwing on the structure well after a semi hot start catching a fish on the first cast i've been a little bit of a googan i am staying optimistic that i am not going to hang any more logs guys there is just acres of mullet in here just acres it's super shallow so there's a good chance that my boat's stuck but that's okay that is okay lots of freaking mullet baby there's gonna be red fish in here i'm just telling you so many freaking mullet in here it is not even funny oh there he is there's a fish there's a fish come here baby what are we working with oh it's a little red pretty little red fish look at here pretty little red fish look at all the spots on this little guy dude look at there oh man this is the first time this year that i have seen just an insane amount of mullet in here and we've already know there's little reds in here so if there's little ones that means in theory i would think there'd be all different sized ones maybe i don't know what's happening okay gotcha by the time i noticed it there was so much water in the hole okay let the engine quit so i'm waiting to get it i just about got it to where i can try to start it again gotcha thank you i'd appreciate it if maybe you could just hang out for a sec is that okay sure even know if it's gonna start so let me kind of break down what's going on here okay i'm sitting there fishing and i look over and i literally see these people bailing water out of their boats i'm like man this is gonna gonna be a rescue mission like i had to go over there immediately and so i go over there and he had blown a gasket and his hull was literally filling up with water to where he couldn't start his boat and his bilge pump went out all right bad bad situation so your your bilge quit working yeah the gasket underneath the water pump right here that's right on top of water when i started gotcha it's still circulating so it's still cool in the engine but sure i just gotta get it get it going so i can get it back up so here's what ended up happening all right i thought the safest option at that point was for them to jump on my boat and me take them back to back to shore because uh that boat was like it was taking on lots of water well they elected not to do that they wanted to stay with their boat and i couldn't tow them because their hole was filled up with water and i don't i didn't have a powerful enough boat to tow that boat filled up with water and so they elected to stay with their boat and call ceto so i hung around for a little while and fished kind of like a quarter mile away from them just to make sure that like they got out of there okay it was just boats are just crazy like you know they say like the best two days of your life for the day you buy a boat the day you sell a boat there's a fish oh he just popped it come on i got it i got him i got him i knew there was fish right there that was a trout that may be a knife keeper that may be a keeper what dude all right let's measure him and see he's about the same size as the other one so he's 15 inches we're gonna let him go because i think the regulations are 16 right now i don't know man i really don't know nonetheless i've made two casts right here and i've got two pretty good hits oh there he is there he is we are definitely on a good school right here guys oh that's a decent too man that's a decent little fish come here come here all right another man they're all the same size right now man they're cold that water must be cold dude y'all chilly i don't know chuckles chilly ow thank you very much dude we'll see you i think we've we're on a little pattern right here i really do there he is oh he just popped it oh come i on my lure messed up it shaw did he pulled my skirt down dude can't be doing all that there he is there he is oh that's i think that's a better fish there man this is a good fish unless he's foul hooked i don't know man he's fighting really weird i mean really weird oh yeah that's a nice one there that's a 16 17 incher just so confused right now i'm gonna call dad i'm gonna call dad hey um you don't know what the trout regulations are now i thought they went up and i'm catching a bunch of 15 and a half inchers and i was just gonna see if i could keep them i thought so too but somebody told me they went to 16 and you never know with these stupid regulations so i was just checking to see if you'd heard anything okay all right we'll see all right we're going to take the trout ski home right now and i'll cook it up all right well we got us a nice little trout ski ready to cook up right here and as you can see we're doing a whole trout so all i did was just like scale it gut it chop his head off we're gonna fry it on the stovetop it's gonna be a fresh trout now melanie regrets to inform you guys that she will not be in the video because she has to work but she does have a big surprise coming for you we do gosh i can't even talk in the near future so y'all be looking forward to that and guys i'm just gonna chat with you while i'm cooking this fish up here okay i do have a serious question if anybody knows any land-based fishing spots in the tampa boy on you know every now and then i like to test out my cooking skills okay i haven't cooked in a while i actually think this is gonna be okay well there's a good-looking trout right there but i think i did an okay job shoot me a thumbs up for the effort anyways we're going whoops we're going to throw a little lemon juice on here and time to dig in all right let's give her a go here this is a uh i think i did a pretty good job man i am i'm not upset with this that's really good that's actually way better than i thought it was gonna be like that is super fresh if i had some tartar sauce it years back i did get a boat for youtube i was in a different place in my life then all right i was the charter business was my main source of income that in real estate and so uh i didn't have time to use that boat like i thought i would and so i gave it back to the factory it just wasn't worth you know i just couldn't promote that boat like they wanted me to and so um i gave it back to factory it just what it didn't work out then if i had it now it'd be a totally different story but um i just wasn't in a place to use the boat properly back then so i did give that one back okay last question is
