We Met Up...

i'm gonna be honest i have no idea what i'm doing [Music] [Music] yo uh it's actually me from the past today is sunday so about two or three days before i leave and you guys might be wondering why am i going to las vegas that was that was pretty random what is this all about as some of you may know my friend jake jake toronto has been entered in this hyperx contest and the winner actually gets flowed out to las vegas for a promotional video promotional shoot and like just this hyperx event and as part of that event he actually gets to bring a plus one and you know guess who that plus one is so with this uh you know crazy experience i thought it would be a good idea to vlog it i actually did just get a new camera i don't know if you can see it this is the camera right here this actually wouldn't be my first ever vlog i have filmed some previous vlogs but it's probably the first one you've seen from me so you know as i said earlier today is a sunday so there's still about two or three days until i leave but the start of the trip isn't when you get to the airport it's all about the preparation and we do have a lot to prepare allow me to uh explain here um i don't know if you've been keeping up with some of my streams lately at twitch.tv antony chen by the way but my hair has been getting extremely long uh and i am not about to pull up to las vegas to a convention looking like this so today we're going to do the first step and i will be using this i'm going to give myself a haircut you know i've never act actually no that's not true i have given myself a haircut uh once twice okay maybe maybe like three times but never like a full-on legitimate hair okay it's always been like a trim per usual i'm going to be trying to do my regular hairstyle which is an undercut with a middle part so i'll probably trim the top but this is going to be my first time using clippers on myself i have been watching um i don't know if you can see this video yeah i've i've uh i think i'm fully prepared you know with these uh with these videos uh tutorials youtube be a blessing but uh this should be interesting let's see how it goes [Music] i'm gonna be honest i have no idea what i'm doing [Music] is are you going to try to have it like taper on the back like we'll see i mean better than paying like forty dollars for them to probably make your girls back it's fun yeah especially because all right so far so good i haven't made any fatal mistakes yet thank god we still got a little more to go though i don't know how i'm gonna cut the back and shoot it fun [Music] all right um it doesn't look that bad actually it looks pretty good considering i've never cut my hair before but i would recommend just messing up the forty dollars to get a haircut uh probably would not do this again myself so the right side it looks it actually looks good i am i am pleased with how the right side looks the problem is can't hold clippers with my left hand so i i definitely myself up on this side but it's fine then the issue of the back let me just can can you see that oh my god yeah i don't know how i'm going to do this all right let's go get someone to help me do this back part dude because yikes not happening is that a bald spot uh yo it is me a few hours later uh so thankfully it was not actually a bald spot uh i did have to get my friend to help me fix the back a little bit but overall we are good i think a rather successful diy haircut i also realized that a lot of you may have never seen me in glasses and if this is your first time seeing me in glasses yeah i do wear glasses most of the time i do just wear contacts but i'm just i'm just a little lazy today so we're wearing glasses yeah the whole reason i even decided to do a diy haircut is because haircuts here we have one salon like a single salon and it is 40 dollars to get a haircut and you know me being the rather thrifty individual that i am i was like you know how hard could a haircut really be i i watched some youtube videos i have had my hair cut you know plenty of times it can't be that hard uh turns out it's it's pretty hard it is pretty hard uh but i i take this as a good learning experience and here let me just just show you the full cut if you if you were interested so yeah the back is a little messed up but it's fine like it's shorter that's what i wanted and it'll be all right it'll be all right hair grows back guys anyways i do still have a ton of prep to finish uh before we actually fly out to las vegas because believe it or not uh missing three days of school and just flying out to las vegas in the uh middle of the week is not the uh not the greatest for a school schedule but just gotta finish all my homework schedule some stuff answer some emails and hopefully after that we will be on our way to las vegas see you guys there [Music] [Music] so [Music] dude i got the absolute worst night arrest last night i think i slept like two hours for the actual travel expenses they gave me 250 uh in uber credit that's how i'm supposed to like get around but turns out live in the middle of nowhere so actually no ubers are going right now thankfully fitness fitness by uh fitness by andrew right it will link in the description down below yes check out the fitness account my voice on the comeback i have like a 12 hour travel time until i reach las vegas all right it's 8 a.m right now we leave and i arrive 6 p.m pst so that's 9 p.m should be fun [Music] [Music] [Music] appreciate it [Music] [Music] all right it is currently uh 10 o'clock am and my flight begins boarding in about 50 minutes so we do have some time to kill you know one thing i never actually realized about filming in public is how loud it is it is so loud at this airport i wonder how much my camera is actually picking up but yeah it is extremely loud and also just speaking in public in general uh pretty uncomfortable but you know that's why we're vlogging we're trying to get better we're trying we're trying to improve at it so this is also going to be my very first time sitting in first class yes that is right uh they did get us first class tickets so i'm excited to see what it's like although i'm pretty sure first class just means you sit at the front of the plane right yeah so it is 10 a.m so in about nine hours we will be at our destination and hopefully uh make it to las vegas in one piece can't wait [Music] comes through [Music] these things bro so the one charger that i brought does not work my phone's at 30 and i've been at the airport for four hours now my flight just got delayed by an hour so we're gonna be here for a little bit longer i've literally just been sitting here i tried uploading a video didn't really work uh airport wi-fi is kind of dog wasted like 60 percent of my battery reading webtoons i like walked around for two hours i don't know a pretty productive day i would say but oh my god i cannot wait to get on this plane and get
