morning so it is Easter weekend meaning Finley's first Easter so check this out we got a beautiful day out today it's Saturday and we are about to go to our favorite breakfast place and they just reopened for the year because they were closed all winter long and we actually went yesterday and we're going again today because we like it so much but what I'm going to say is we are actually having a Sunday Easter Sunday pop-up yard sale we haven't advertised for the sale yet we haven't set anything up but we're throwing down tomorrow so we're gonna see how this works by putting up signs posting on Craigslist posting on Facebook and to see if we can have a successful yard sale only one day in advance first breakfast and then we're gonna hatch the plan so stick join us today it's going to be a nice family Vlog uh plus some other stuff the dream is real out here all right check this out we got the Easter bean the Easter bean are you getting excited so we're gonna go to the bracky place and then Bean's gonna go in her big girl stroller the big girl wow it's cold tell us what we're doing here it's been uh first official time in her big girl seat look at this look how cute she is she's what you doing down down here you have to go to the breaking place no way girlfriend and get some avocados and Eggies Bean loves the food here I mean I grew her on this every day when I was pregnant after looking at the taxes she ain't kidding all these different Earthly Cafe expenses on there and I was wondering how many times we went there we went there a lot it's creepy duffel bag in the trash it's funner so you can see everything right they were claiming three months that you can put her in here eight months now they're claim you could put a three month old if they could sit up in there and I was just thinking crazy maybe it helps them sit up yeah but she already did that on her head yeah time for some cream um yeah what are you looking at and if our kids can't learn to um you know quick set boundaries with us they're never going to learn how to set batteries whatever exactly so we kind of have to guide them and teach them because if they never learned and they're gonna let people walk all over them exactly right Mama's gotta get better with that so I guess that's an example I'm still learning yeah like it's so hard to do especially when you're like a nice person you don't want to hurt anyone's feelings pancakes we'll do more of a better angle from here I should have broke her seat honestly next time mad tomorrow let's do it now she's stuck and ready for another bite it's not even gonna let Mama eat today she didn't yesterday either so you're trying to take it out of my mouth quick bring some snacks no no no nothing trust me that's not a good call there it is no on the next block right all right just got our breakfast it was delish now we're going for a little Family Walk since we're here right by the Bay Somers Point Beach Street look at this place the tavern on the bed it's called probably spooky it's definitely haunted in there no I think you can rent those rooms up there I've seen them online all right here's gonna be the bulk of the setup so starting basically from here and then to the driveway this area is going to be the main yard sale area [Music] here's all the stuff we have for it so it's basically a pop-up sale but we have a lot of good stuff all these are filled with good goodies Die Cast trucks vintage stuffed animals other vintage toys more diecast more vintage toys other gold in there like like there's Lego in here and everything else in here that we can put out and then we're gonna have like you know really good prices on some stuff but then other stuff like the GI Joe stuff you know this is worth at least probably 15. hopefully we'll try to get you know better prices on some stuff that's worth more we got it look at this guy this is probably like maybe the coolest thing in here I think I might keep him hang on figures pieces look at this BMW bike that's cool alien so there's probably like well also like vintage he's changed the leg on that guy GI Joes but there could be little weapons and pieces that go to the figures in here like that's probably from like a ninja turtle toy literally this could be a vintage toy collectors dream treasure hunt in this box could be dude you love vintage toys or you sell them I do a little bit of both I've been doing it honestly since I was probably still playing with them so figure out for your whole life pretty much she has a little hobby you know it's worth what some of that stuff well it's become uh almost like I would say like mainstream more than people just love that stuff now oh yeah yeah because I'm sure it wasn't always like that right no because it was so plentiful everybody had them and now now it's like my Volkswagen everybody wants to get everybody thinks it's so cool we used to buy them all day long for 500 hours a piece now it's like eight grand for one that just is completely rusted out yeah it depends on what it is because there's some stuff that's like collecting Avon bottles and Beanie Babies yeah exactly and then you know everybody's you want Star Wars yeah yeah well actually that'll never it wasn't it wasn't anything like real crazy but this same stuff storage unit that I got this stuff from there was a bunch of the 90s Star Wars stuff in there and that's kind of that's it's not really worth much yeah it's anything the carted stuff that's still like you bought it off the hanger is still selling for what it sold for trouble that's all you dude wow you need that so the 90s Star Wars stuff is no because mainly because in the 90s in the early 90s there was this turn of it's no longer a toy it's a collectible yeah and then everybody just kept it to collect it so its Rarity became obsolete everybody's got hanging on the wall nobody wants it dude I drive it and you know what too a lot of this stuff was still in the box and I started scanning it on eBay and I was like wait a second this is only worth ten dollars it's from 1990 it's older than me because that's what everybody by the 90s was Beanie Babies Hess trucks and other things like that and comic books with all their different hundreds of different covers became a collectible and not the item that it was made to be that makes sense actually I never actually heard it said like that but now that you said it makes a lot of sense I drive a 66 foot split window across VW bus yeah when I was 16 they were all over the place you could buy them for 500 hours now I've turned down 40K for my boss not being boastful I'm just leading into the conversation we need cats is that I remember the days where when they stopped running you just leave them you would leave them on the road man in the 70s now they they covered that thing they you know they to me it's still just the vehicle it's it's hip it's vintage but look look at how uh look at how time but look what time that time has done to your attitude yeah the attitudes change I mean out on the west coast they'll steal your child uh or to train your child for your bus you know for a vintage VW man yeah which by the way do you want to do a trade I don't need the bus that bad this girl she's worth more than those bosses look at this girl right here ah good morning little baby was like all across it was crazy looking a lot of time in it they didn't even do the event I found out they had one covet hit they had canceled the entire event so when they put the stuff in storage it actually had never been used for anything they just bought all that stuff for no reason well yeah it must be nice to have money a marketing budget the size of theirs is probably well they're into like marketing and banking they're in all kinds of stuff now I really imagine the amount of money they spent just to look who it is look at this guy dude look at that hat no way how'd you do that know what you know what it's called yeah I just sent it to a guy here you go it's called the Wildwood sports car show but sports cars toys comics and collectibles June 30th to July 2nd that actually sounds cool to just check it out it's because you can buy a table let's say you buy it well a six foot table for like 150 bucks and then you can just bring whatever you can bring whatever [ __ ] comes off you put them right back out there so I did my first car show a few weeks ago because I got I mostly collect cards yeah um and like Pokemons and it was a great outcome um so I see that you have a lot of stuff like those comic books they'll go great on a um on a card show and again like you know pricing is different from a yard sale too of course yeah yeah because people are there specifically for that exactly so check it out man there's always ones and there's there's uh shows in Woodbridge there's shows in manahawking they want a Wildwood sounds cool is it at the convention center uh yeah yeah okay that's a nice spot down there yeah it's one of the biggest ones in our area okay I might go to that are you gonna go to that one I have not gone into it okay it'll be my first one so but right there look we got some more we got shout out to the wolf we got some more customers and the sale is popping off all right making the sales now the clothes is starting to sell so we just sold a bundle is there a squirrel over here why is there a hole right here with isn't that weird like doesn't this look like that's what I'm saying what do you mean that's a bunny's Nest or something a bunny it looks like it yeah that's what I was wondering like this just thank you they bought a bag a whole bag of stuff she bought a TV and it's still going look at this some somebody's making a pile here getting the gold it is 1107 so we're about 40 percent maybe through the day of the yard sale so we start at 8am we had about 40 people show up to the sale so far and we sold so the thing is a lot of the people they come they buy you know five dollars ten dollars eight dollars worth of stuff but there was two people that spent a hundred and then a bunch of other people that spent like 20 or 30 or even 40. so it does add up pretty quick we just posted about the Sal last night and put up the signs last night like yeah like six last night and I didn't post the Craigslist ad until like nine or ten at night so another thing I did today though is I took pictures of the sale happening posted them to Facebook and a lot of people are messaging for the address and just showing up so I think that we have another whole half of the day to go and to sell a whole bunch more stuff so huge success so far and I'm just gonna start bringing out stuff that maybe I would have just either thrown out or scrapped and see if it sells who's the Easter bun buddy she's the Easter who's the Easter bun uh who's the real Easter Bunny here though look at him look at him foggy so mad cause everybody out here and he's inside amazing why does pop-up kid to come out here but I don't damn Lobster she got dandruff look at it all over her or is that just dirt oh but you want to come out she's like I was looking chill look at this check it out I got this from the trash if you guys saw the video now I wonder what's in these boxes it's a TV it says do I even dare take this so I had two TVs I opened one the other one I never opened until now look at this the remote HDMI cord and that's the remote for the other TV look at this baby perfect that's money right there Samsung you got to be kidding me this is pure gold how much you think 20. 20 30 maybe 40. because they got everything what is that remote Here We Go There It Is 30 bucks maybe would be a great deal for someone yeah it's no scratches nothing right no it's good for real brand new that's why I knew it was good because I knew they put it in the box and made it nice so I thought that it would definitely be good perfect looking check it out dude all right have fun with them the kid he was hanging out here looking at all the toys for like 15 minutes and I know his mom was getting impatient so I just we told him to take five uh five of the toys hey maybe well we can test it out right here I'll put it on this table I don't know if it works I'm gonna have to see my grandkids today uh a big enough is this for a keyboard this charger yeah I use it for the Yamaha one I have a Yamaha one that sampling yeah but we just tried three different ones and none of them are working uh that was a different one that was a different one oh it's not I'm gonna give it to him I don't know what the movie is I never actually saw the movie Bliss it's called from 1997 but the case is all the Nostalgia ever let's give it to him I'll surprise him dude EHT actually so he got a pretty lucky find but yeah this is really cool this is so cool dude thank you I saved that for you oh dude you guys are freaking awesome thank you the boy got the Blockbuster I knew that all right that's the end of the sale so we're just wrapping up the rest of it here we got a curb alert to the curb a whole bunch of Legos miscellaneous toys that are broken this might be this is the end of the toy selection basically but we got all the leftover clothes we're gonna donate to the thrift store that's actually like a church giveaway thrift store in Woodbine and we've seen them just like give food it's like a food bank and a thrift store and it's actually for the community so we know the clothes will go to a good place uh we do have this left over which I was gonna donate or throw away but she said she might want to use this instead here being instead of what we have in the TV so just break the tent down that's the clothes that we may keep slash try to use again and this might not be everyone's ideal Easter Sunday but uh for us this was amazing and we got to sell stuff have a yard sale and hang out as a family all day can't beat it so happy Easter everyone
