WE ARE NOT GOING TO A SEMIFINAL.. *BACK TO AUSTRALIA?*

[Music] now welcome to another daily vlog that's i gotta i gotta learn this where did you even get daily vlogs from i think that's what youtube is saying welcome to another episode of the tiered channel i don't know if it's very fitting to call yourself a youtuber no that's what you we're on youtube we are on youtube but i don't know should we classify him as a youtuber if you could if i get if someone if we could just get one person a comment say yeah shane's a youtuber i'll take it okay whatever please mom mom comment below okay okay uh so guys what we want to go through if we can if you've got the time for us we would love to talk about uh the road what's going on and what's coming up and if you stay tuned to the very end we're going to save somebody no we're going to give you a hot tip for you'll have to wait till the end okay so um on wednesday so a few days ago i got an email saying congratulations based on your performance in the quarterfinals you don't drink one like that i feel like you anyways you have earned a spot in the 2021 noble crossfit games semi-finals for some of you that aren't familiar with the season of the crossfit games there is now a semi-finals it's kind of like regionals um and my semi-finals should be in australia but due to covert and travel restrictions and quarantine for two weeks we'll go into that a little bit later on um i actually have an opportunity to do an online competition so your semi-final event will be online the crossfit atlas games now is time to register and learn more details about the next stage of competition and so i had to decl uh decline or accept this before tuesday may 4th may the force be with you um at 5 00 pm pacific time so that competition will be held on friday june 18th through to sunday june 20th i believe that's the last week of the semi-finals was that russian yeah yep last weekend of june yeah so they'll have over four oh man i don't even know how many competitions but basically around the world over four weeks they'll have one two three four five six seven eight nine ten is there a ten semi-finals anyways i was meant to and originally meant to compete on the very first week at the taurean pro in brisbane australia because my passport is australian and that is the continent that i'm from is that right is that what they is that what the record uh no no but that's what the rules were so because of covert um now we like exhausted all of our resources we inquired about doing at-home quarantine so that when we traveled back to australia we could go home and then we could still train and my fitness wouldn't be affected so that was going to cost us 250 000 then that was obviously out of the question then we tried to you're actually hurting my arm um then i actually asked to do a vip like what would a vip um quarantining look like and that was like a hotel room with um like a kitchen and a balcony so and that was going to cost us 30 000 so that was also out of the question because it didn't really give us a gym or anything and then the other option was just to pay the the typical five thousand dollars for two weeks and quarantine in just a generic hotel room um so we can't get out of that or we couldn't get around that um and then uh traveling and actually booking flights to get back into australia was extremely difficult as well so due to those um complications getting back into the country and obviously the reason we're going back to australia would be to compete so you know having a two week quarantine being stuck in a hotel room for two weeks would jeopardize my um performance and i think it would jeopardize my fitness and stuff so crossfit have honored and allowed us to compete online which we're very grateful for um they've actually taken away the catch-all event because some people were actually able to travel to uh their their home country um i think i'm the only one that can't get back to australia is that right oh no and emma there's a lady called um emma campbell i don't know oh well anyways so that is what's been going on lately and an update in terms of the semi-finals that we really just figured out would you like to elaborate too yeah i'd love to um i think he didn't listen to what i just said i was thinking what were you thinking about i think so so moving forward so based off all that and what crossfit have provided we're certainly going to go ahead with that event i mean i'm sure the crossfit will revisit a lot of these in-house issues relating with spots to the games at the moment we're only focusing on what we can control and what crossfit has guided us we laid out our concerns and then this is the result which they have given um did an online event certainly tear i'd rather do an in-person event but and especially to go back home yeah because we haven't been home since 2019 yeah i would love it would have been cool to do the touring [Music] yeah sorry i always say crossfit and their guidelines and everything yeah so since crossfit have given us guidelines and about that we've just played within them i'm not sure i was talking about you should tell them what are you going to tell them for the end of the video i'm intrigued to find out too oh yeah so there isn't much for me to tell you on this one you certainly have to watch the next video i apologize i just wanted a little bit of click bait i don't know if it worked it's not clickbait well it depends on what the clickbait or what the title of this video will be okay but that is rough i hate when videos you watch all the way to the end and then there's nothing that's so disappointing okay so well that case what can we do then let's give out um let's give out a uh what can we do i'm thinking you're through yourself if you could think of write a number on your laptop please on your phone whatever quickly we need to get this we need to get this on if you could if from a number from one to uh what is it just so i'm not going to say 10 no okay one to a thousand once will show me the number just so we know it's legit type it up show me it okay if you could think of a number from one to one thousand you
