the buckle cost $10,000 because also platinum miami with kevin o'leary written thank you again i just love hanging with you you're such a crazy trip i'll take it I'll take it so last time we chatted about watches as investments I don't want to totally shift to just great watchmakers maybe not in the same lying in terms of collectability but still this fantastic houses but I appreciate that because I'm happy to go on the journey with you I mean I think together a formidable force in terms of our knowledge but I don't know everything so if you're gonna show me some new houses new Maysles new brands I'm very interested and I've always looking through the eyes of a collector so you can find me something interesting I'd say you never know what's gonna happen so Teddy you're like a concierge today oh man you're way up here but we have none of your personal watch shopper how about that all right I laid out some pieces at all these different stops I like you do wanna get into it I want you you've done the heavy lifting now show me what you got and you never know what's gonna happen I see what they got all right [Music] all right so our first stop mr. wonderful one of my favorite brands jlc yeah so let me I think you have a genuine reversal I did I have a gold reversal I bought in Geneva it's such an iconic classic watch and obviously very functional when you travel a lot to different time zones I really use it for that quite often but if there's ever watch in my collection that people just get a buzz off it's a reversal when you show it to them they just can't even comprehend what's going on when you flip it over so I have a question I think the Reverso is the best conversation starter in all of watchmaking would you agree or disagree I would agree with you because most people can't comprehend how the movement is structured to do that they are expecting the back of a watch and they see another in my case it's a different colored dial and so it's just stunning and it's a double take every time you flip it over and what I find so fantastic about it is it's really truly a functional piece you live in New York you land in LA you flip your watch over three-hour difference and boom on the way back and I think a design like that is timeless and certainly if you think about this maze all it probably represents it in a way that'll always be associated of course you know yeah I mean you know jlc and the reverse so they are very timeless yeah from 1931 and it started from polo players so I have two different variations that I thought might be interesting to you one is of course because of the red so this is the tribute small seconds and I do really can't translate I translate this on screen but seeing that red you know just in the light it's it is a release it's a beautiful dial there's no question now is this steel or is this a stainless steel yeah Sammis steel which is is so on trend these days and of course the classic square that is known with this maison has been for decades and decades so I got a question from my facebook group cuz I always like asking questions they ask a question for you talking engraving on the back of a reversal yeah I think that's one of the opportunities you it sounds like you have a dual face right actually we'll also get to that yeah what would you engrave in if you can engrave anything on the reversal mr. wonderful what I would be doing you know is I usually buy watches around some major event in business for me so I can remember the deal with the watch all of my watches are associated with a specific deal so I would probably engrave that the date the deal I remember when my own shares was just starting out my exchange my etf company I think we raised our first 50 million we issued watch us with that amount and date on it and of course they they become part of my collection and I've always remember that time I mean 50 million today is nothing in that industry but at that time it was a big deal and it's so I would probably do that to watch like this I mean this is you know it's a it's a beautiful beautiful I just love that red and I know you're a fan of red or something everybody knows but we also have this tribute moon which I think it's beautiful in yes so that's that to me is more about what the psyche of the Reverso is your I want to I want to experience a new you know dial on the other side this is great and also a classic but this is what I think Reverso is it's it's to be surprised to have a whole new experience a whole new watch by just flipping it I agree I agree that that's why I think it works and you mention it with the dual I mean you have a trigger up top yeah so you could - time zones great travel watch - well that's what I mean I mean that is that as a classic - and it's just so recognizable about recognize because you're all about you know seeing on the wrist on TV you know what you do need to accept a larger format in terms of its its its stockier in that sense this is so beautiful because it's so lean and mean mm-hmm that is a spectacular piece - I mean these are two beautiful pieces I love the reversal one of my favorites so I have a couple other I'd say more out of the box from jlc yeah one is from their master collection right here right which this is a new release this is a blue enamel dial with Iturbi on yeah stay away yeah that's I mean blue look blue is smoking hot now a whole bunch of reasons I mean people have gone nuts for blue I like it I don't love it you know it's it's not it's not ripping my heart out like these pieces are but it's a beautiful piece but it's not do you enter beyond I do I do you know there's a there's a huge debate going on about turbulence are they really functional for wristwatches because they were made for pocket watches correctional air and and so they don't really belong in a wristwatch today they're unnecessary from that perspective and there's a whole class of collector that won't buy them for that reason I on the other hand think it's part of the watches appeal to fixate on a movement like this almost hypnotically and so I'm okay with it but it's not Universal because often you're going to be you know spending between a hundred two hundred two fifty depending on what you're buying the amount of effort to make this is a serious amount of work from the from the artistry this is a particularly beautiful one it's really mesmerizing I'm just watching it now but there you have that constituency saying why are you doing that but what is the point there is no functional reason for that to be in the watch and you're paying for it in terms of the width of the watch and a whole bunch of other things but having said that I still I appreciate the art of making these and I poopoo those that say well it's just it all has to be about function [ __ ] because we can take a step back and say all this is not necessary or I should not use your phone will give you the time but that's to me that's I'd rather live in hell then you know use a phone to tell the time or any electronic consumer thing it's you know I'm warming up to this face because I have to say the light plays beautifully on it it's one of those you know it does grow on you a bit this is actually my first time seeing one of these blue nails in person so just released do we have a loop here can I can I any closer look yeah I do want to see what's going on I think that I think what they've done is they've put an etching into that face yes isn't great oh my goodness yes you know that's pretty nice you don't notice it when you until you start to look at that so they also did they release the blue enamel across the master collection a few different models now this is one of the Terr beyond they also did one with the moon phase this one I think with any what's the price point in this one I'm actually not sure I'm actually not sure what the price is I'm gonna guess I think this is a price on request type of wine well we're gonna request let's find out 85 okay we just requested it's not bad butter beyond me that's a perpetual so this is a dual matte and it has the tenth of the second that's a sixth of a second so yours yours is a hundredth of a second yeah I'm on your wrist I know you kind of like this yeah so this is this is the real artistry let's go back here yes to this blue dial because oh yeah this is etched in a spectacular sunburst way did you get a close-up of this watch for the meet me at some axis we have some macro photos and this is [ __ ] beautiful there's no question about it you don't know this too you actually hold it for a while yeah that is really something else I don't remember that dial like this from jlc before they've really stepped up their game a bit here I think they've always been on their game but the blue enamel is for what I know I'm a Newark dial variation I've seen the last few years from them so you know the more I'm hanging with this watch the more I'm liking it it's a just a limited run yes how many anyone made fifty really see those make them very valuable I prefer to buy pieces like that so what are your thoughts on limited editions I've you know I've come full circle I've always thought it was a [ __ ] marketing strategy yeah to make more money but now I realize when you start to collect that you covet small runs because you're doing a lot of work to find out what you love then you have to do all the work to get the piece the maze all sometimes only wants to sell those limited runs to collectors it is a reward for you know supporting the March onward and historically they have held up better ten twenty thirty years later so you can't I can't find a weakness in the strategy well the only thing is take a limited run of ten and you've got a hundred buyers you're pissing off 90% of your constituency under a hundred to me makes sense you know if look at grant cycle they've done 150 and called them limited runs it's just getting to the outer edge mm-hmm but I mean you know 50 that's that's a limited run for sure so doing that acts very similar to six to the second six to the second yeah at the six o'clock yeah also getting but it's it's perpetually running you don't stop it that's right so how it operates okay so is that's interesting that's interesting so that's what happens they kind of acts like a chronograph yeah but it's all from the one crown so you pull out first position right it's gonna stop got it let me pull it out what this is gonna do watch that Center seconds pass back so but you're doing everything the center center crimes no reset button yes and then there's two barrels on the back it's a little controversial yeah two barrels on the back so you have perfect entered energy distribution across the hands so once powering looks like things you see on the dial then was powering that second hands a beautiful beautiful detailing on the finish a lot of watches this week Wow this very well finished yeah that's really something else and you can see the whole gear train yeah a lot better than some other very nice no I really appreciate the finish you know kiss me if you're going to buy a piece like this gorgeous so this is you had to pick one you got to pick one if I had to pick one let's go back and get this face back oh my goodness you know I mean yeah see I'm and I'm not talking at price at this point yes you're just looking at where your eyes take yet where I think let let money not be an object and frankly when you're buying pieces like this you have to treat it that way because if you're gonna get you can't be a stickler you've got to be ready to write a check but I have that disease so I'm not worried about WoW sits off one because when I actually saw them for the first time my I went to this because of this beautiful rich classic look and the red is fantastic but having hung out with this watch for a few minutes now I got to tell you this is a really tough one it's it's between these two but I I hate to say it I'd go with the turbulent right because the dial is you want 180 on that I know I know but that just shows you that's how strong a piece it is if it can win you over by hanging out with it and getting to know it a little bit and forming a relationship you know the dial is spectacular huh it's beautiful it's just it's unique its unique they've really whoever whoever designed this dial is a rock star because that you know the way the center comes together fetching is you know next to impossible it goes to infinity that's why they called you'll see the watchmakers watchmaker yeah yeah yeah this is this is all for everybody yeah I think I hope you've got great close-ups of this I mean you I hope so because this is a rare rare piece Tonya's a rare rare piece and the light is look that is that it's just I mean look there these are the two in order of of what I love here it's this okay but this is this is the winner really yes I would have thought pop that over here that would have been yeah it was at the beginning for sure because it's so classic but you know if you love watches and and you have friends that collect and that's what is so much fun about buying a piece like this is bringing it into your into your circle of friends they would go nuts on that dial that dial is that's a I haven't seen dials like that and I've seen a lot of dials you're gonna see more dolls yeah you know we got we have three other South we're going to know I get it but that that is for this Mazal yeah one of the best pieces they've ever made in my view no high praise yeah no it's and you know I call it like it is we all know that we all know you call it I can still find the watchmaker that made that way [Music] all right Kevin stop number two yep bachelor 1 constant answer this is one of my favourite brands you don't have a match I don't but you know I know this Maison and I have my whole life because I you know my stepfather is from Switzerland he's a Swiss citizen this is a brand that is omnipresent on the streets of Switzerland it's advertised it's a really really well-known European house a brand that everybody knows if you could in your land in Geneva Airport or Zurich Airport it's a different world than the ad you see there and but but this this is sort of a one of the great three main zones when you think about it so it's not like I don't know the mark but you're right I haven't started collecting it yet it's been a while since I actually walked through one of their boutiques and looked at what's new so I'm glad we're here so the watches that I picked out our two of my favorites but also to that I think might resonate with you so the first that I wanted to look at which i think is just so unique and it's one of my favorites is the American 1921 so this is part of their history collection and it's kind of the history around this watches it's a traditional drive model so during the 1920s when you know everybody's coming back from the war you know although all the veterans are now living as day to day citizens they have cars they're trying to break into this part Deco styling movement that's also going on so they came out with a few pieces that resembled this kind of design but I run it back recently so they rotated dial it's beautiful launch the Arabic numerals no I have not seen this before this is new to me because when I used to cruise the boutique 20 years ago I'm not sure this was offered so this was late to thousands of they brought this back within the history but I will say something it's a real conversation starter which I love about any piece because you're asking yourself why is it asked you why is that 12 not where it should be and why is it off 30 degrees and I get it if you're driving this very sense and in fact that's what makes this watch work and it's thin very thin yeah we're under 10 millimeters in thickness you're hitting a nice which is also when pairing it with that kind of rounded cushion style case you don't see that very often the dial is also there attractive I mean it's it's uh I've certainly got a every year that goes by I get more and more intrigued by looking at the dial and how it's designed and and then the colors used or the enamel or whatever is being used to finish it sometimes it's a etched this is very clean and just when you do get close up to those numerals you see just the plotting of the numerals and how yeah they're actually raised yeah yes and you really can't appreciate it unless you're looking at as close as I am and you are right now they're significantly raised they really have their own personality in the light which you know that's the kind of thing I really appreciate this watch is beautiful it's a classic I can tell so and this is very iconic for master on in terms of just an iconic design yeah and they also paired this for a red strap here so this does not come on a red strap this is custom well you from your rivals I love that I love that one actually works right it works on this gold as well it works with the dial it is your black raised numerals mm-hmm yeah I'm gonna give this high marks because it's really no but I see a piece that you don't see anywhere else it starts at eight eight out of ten then as you get to look at it I really think that dial spectacular unlike anything I've seen I think when on Shark Tank you always want to see what it was come really wear on it that's a watch that I thought made a lot of sense it does it's now did this come and steal or plot Android comes in platinum as well yeah blue new you see to me that would even be better if it was platinum with blue that is going to be a smoking hot look I have yet to see that one a person but a lot of people have seen it they did love it yes I would I would say I would like it better in that format because it would really pop and right now blue is so on trend and I don't think it's going to go away I mean it blue is has become very popular for a good reason it looks fantastic and it works as a sport look and also very you know if you want to be casual great but if you're very formal the tux it also works it doesn't it's a personal color the other watches that I wanted to showcase were from the overseas collections it does know I know the over I mean with this brand that is a huge yeah so it descends from there to to two models from 1970 so these came out same areas you know the royal it's not know it is a nautilus Royal Oak jumbo kind of competitor and also from one of the great three houses so is and I know this is a merry bullet ached and make but I personally from my own personal tastes all things included the overseas design is always just I've liked it more personally well it's certainly you know it's classic it's it's both sporty what I love what they've done here having a chance to see these removable bands this is very cool because you can turn this into a weekend watch with a rubber band you can go leather you can go back to seal I think that's brilliant I really do it's very easy to change that yeah all of us I mean all the overseas models are incredible with they're able to me if you know if I'm comparing yes this is this is a you thinking well I'm thinking right now this overseas is just so classic it's just spectacular that's what the black dial the blue is their bestseller of course of course would be and if I was gonna buy one it would be the blue I'm sure there's a nice waiting list for yeah but but it's a black you know black is also good I mean it's it's nicely it looks good I think they've really done a heck of a job in making it a fashion piece with all of this optionality on the bracelet which i think is so good because you know when you're going through your collection in the morning saying what do I want to do today and you have the option to change the band too easily so clearly they've got some good designers at work here at the top of my list and things that I want brands to start doing is more customization options with straps as well as bracelets yeah well you're into the strip Teddy you're into this yeah I am and you know I'm my thing about red but that doesn't mean I don't want the original strap it came with or the steal for weekends when I shoot television I have to wear red band that's just because I've been doing it for 11 years and it produces more continuity in the look but I also have a huge collection of bands so I don't have to wear red on a weekend when I'm trying to do something else I'm not always shooting television but it seems that way like I always say camera yeah you're right so we have that we have that's a standard there's about 13,000 for that and then we also have some more higher-end piece of scope our C's collection so bring out the top drive we're going top gun then we have to first start with butter beyond so this is that same blue dial that you would get with yeah so that that gives you an idea of how well they've mastered blue so that what I like about this blue dial is it's blue it's black it's shimmering it's not whatever they've done here this is mastery in dial making and which I'm focusing on so much these days I really drill down into dials to say what have they done to move up the game how they stepped it up this is absolutely stunning see how it's black it's beautiful now its ability yeah the light I mean it's just I'm gonna give this a hundred out of 100 yeah and then flipping it over is not too bad either here's looking at the front well I mean I haven't even talked about the turbulent to me the turbulence is how eye catching is the movement how mazuma rising is it because there's many termios on the market this clearly has you know a jewel right at the center which tracks your eyes but there's a lot going on underneath there what I love from the display on the back is just how they utilize that rotor so a lot of automatic turbines it's almost an injustice I see a full rotor on the back but you can't see it master either that's really so you could really see that torreón escape yeah yeah beautiful that's a heck of a piece so that that's a high-end one we also been talking about price on this one 95 yeah that would make sense but a good investment in my view I mean that's gonna be forever a spectacular I mean you know the blue on the steel with these with these you know the white on the dial it's just so clean and stunning mm-hmm that's the top pick right there it's not big I think she looked at although I know but it's so far okay so all right everyone's getting better I see that's a problem this gold perpetual yeah overseas interests couple things that go out right away so you're getting right up here at the top so you're having every year but look at how they display the the months yes so that it's a four year quadrant and each is broken down into fourths I need the loop I got a little bit closed up give me those up yeah we're gonna you'll see that there's a little L dictating where the leap hears that and that's good till 2099 that's really good work in terms of the each of the sub dials are beautifully etched in circles concentric circles that's really something else this thing that was a unique way of showing the perpetual with the four years very nice you're right and also just the thinness of it yeah the best raw I mean the the look of this Maltese Cross vibe that comes on in the front of the dial is you know it's so iconic for the brand so last time we talked so much about watches investments what else allows you to just get drawn into a watch what do you see it's to me it's to me it's the story I mean do people stop and say what is that because for me when I'm wearing watching television I want people to ask what is he wearing because that's for men what else do you got you got cufflinks you've got your watch it's about it maybe the pannier you're writing with but I like us a watch that really draws the eye to it and so that's why these Blues on steel are fantastic I mean this watch is is gorgeous but it doesn't grab me the same way that this turbulent does because it's so unique in the way it's been put together in the blue this is a you see this with many many houses many makers have a watch that emulates this look it's got lots of complications it's a perpetual I like it I mean I've got a piece it look like this I have you know the text that look like this there's not much you can do to blow yourself different in a perpetual you've got all this information you've limited real estate you know the vestrana moon phase thing is that that look is that's been the same look for decades with these guys with the Maltese Cross I mean that is what makes the watch do you know what it is yeah and they integrate it so well yeah within the bracelet I mean the bracelet you can kind of see there's small little human you know some make some collectors have to have the perpetual of each house they buy so there's nothing wrong with this it's both sporty it's both very fashionable very high-end I'm not a big lover of gold this would look spectacular plot and if they make it that way more white going to read though yeah I like the band idea mm-hmm it's nice it's not take it's not ready it's not pulling my heart out of my chest now that that is a overseas real time oh my goodness okay that's crazy all of handles for the one crown carry so this is one this is an iconic piece in every way oh wow you know they don't they've done the blue thing you like your blue don't you yeah I've seen a trend here but look but look at how that works mm-hmm all right so that's in the running - that's in the running so I you know I'm gonna tell you here's the way I look at it here's how I'm looking at these watches what do you think you know I'm thinking Rankin I'm gonna rank him good again this turbulent the blue face is is just a number one of many watches like this is this is a if you were competing globally this would be up there in the top five I mean that is love the over season blue yeah it is really really beautiful balanced the brand is evident the Maltese Cross is there it's well proportioned it's easy to read the time the turbulence magic in terms of eye-catching mesmerize ation yeah it's a winner that's number one number one okay number two because I haven't really my eye keeps going back to this crazy watch this is Alice in Wonderland that's what my girlfriend says she said Alice Alice Alice in Wonderland yes and for that reason deserves to be in a collection you know it should be in there somewhere because you're not going to get this anywhere else shade under 34,000 for that yeah it but I also think now this has blue an option with blue as a platinum does now that's where I would go mm-hmm because these numbers these raised numbers with it with a platinum that's a heck of a piece I mean it's just see that that deserves to be in a collection so it's number two this is itself the most beautiful watch in this store right now this is number two and could be number one but it should be in the collection because who has that nobody has that Alice in Wonderland's number two or two all right this is I mean look that's wrong make some great watches mmm-hmm that's number three all right this is obviously number one without the you want the blue with the blue that's another one yeah it shoots up yeah without the turbulence yeah that's also nice and then to me look there's nothing wrong with this but I mean yellow gold have you ever I have with a gold bracelet and we have gold no I don't you know the thing the thing with all gold bracelets is it's a certain statement it makes it's not me you know I mean I just dripping in gold for me is not it's it's a little over the top you know when people trick out a watch cover it in stones and diamonds and all this stuff they're taking the soul right out of the piece that's what I think and it's too garish I'm not saying this is some people like gold I like I want people to look at the dial I love a band but I wanted to be the secondary elements of what's going on you're looking at the dial you're saying what is that what brand is that what is that watch to me that's what matters and in all my watches because I only wear red bands it's everybody knows the red band then they say what's the watch and and these watches are really mean this brand is going on you when's the last time you take a closer look at master I haven't in a while which is why I'm glad we're doing this today Teddy because it's really you know I know I know I think what I have to do is I'm gonna go to this in blue without the terbium because I got turbulence and I like them but you know I've always said you don't need watch it's there to add style but the this this in blue is going to be a that's going to be that's my that is that is the jumbo that is the Nautilus that's the third soldier you know yeah there it is 15 meters water-resistant so you know to me to me if this was blue it would be number one over the terbium okay but these are all spectac I mean look I'm having a hard time with this now because I'm saying Alice in Wonderland's fantastic it's just this was a tough call Teddy these are so you're impressed yeah I am I am I you know what you've done is you pulled me back into a brand that I haven't been with in years and I don't know why I don't have it in my collection that's really something to think about definitely definitely okay great yeah it's fantastic thank you awesome I think we're ready to go to cause me a lot of stress now Teddy a lot of stress I'm really because it's gonna be an Eightfold font no but now I have to really start thinking about this because I'm asking where so why don't I have one of these that's a good question it's actually a really good question ask you're honest I need an overseas or 1921 I think both of them would look yeah so you really got me thinking alright next stops we do it I think what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna put an order in for this in blue that's it there we go we're going you're buying record buying today we're gonna buy stop number three coming yep so we went from Switzerland Switzerland to Germany yes yeah along in Zona yeah you have not purchased anything else on a Swiss one have you you've owned the Swiss well that's that's not true because of late you know in the beginning that as I started my first collections having grown up as a teenager on the streets of Geneva with a Swiss father it it was naturally going to the major houses there and when your Swiss there's only one place watches are made in Switzerland that's not true the fact is now that I've become a global collectors the Japanese started high watchmaking in the 1800s gran Seiko is is where some of the most incredible movements were made long before the swiss even had a watch industry nobody ever talks about that but it's true and so once you realize that and you really expand your collection to honor all watchmakers you have to go back to japan and you have to start buying a few of the grand psychos which gets you into this maze all because the right the rivalry of watchmaking between the Germans and the Swiss is its legendary okay and there are collectors and I know this and I was looking forward to coming here with today with today Teddy with you these are considered by some collectors that are friends of mine to be the the uber watch yes the the ultimate timepiece the most incredibly crafted and yet others say I can't buy because no Swiss and can you imagine that I could I could never decide I mean a lot of that do they have a weighted point in my decision yeah where it's from I could never first of all you need a fortitude of capital to get involved with this industry so what we're looking at today yeah and of course and I've always said this about collecting watches you have you have to set the money aside for a moment as you contemplate what you're doing in adding to your collection because you know you don't sell these pieces you buy them and they and they come into your collection and they live with you for the rest of your that's the way you should honor watch like this because the only reason you would buy this is you understand the craftsmanship of what this represents and many people don't even know this brand that's what some remarkable but I think that verse allows them to be successful because I mean they fall underneath the Richemont group which we were just at bachelor on NALC which are also Richemont brands but right they operate very very similar to independently with their their production I mean they're under five thousand a year so it's it's in that range it's it's that kind of I put them in the FPS yarn aura of one piece at a time incredible craftsmanship it's it's a disease and you start collecting these because you can either buy a house put your kids to university or buy one watch mm-hmm that's that's quite serious of what we're looking so let's go through it okay so I wanted to again take watches that I think you would like but also any represent the brand so one of the watches that come to mind right away when I think of longa and for my personal taste what I love is the longer one I think everything about the longer one is just fantastic it's beautiful there's really it is the iconic watch is it not I mean that in the data graph I think are the two ones that I would consider for long of being the best representation of the brand and just the Germanic design yeah but everything about this so the big date and this is the 25 year anniversary so this is honoring 25 years since the longer woman's release this is a big year for longest he have 1999 was the data graph so we have 20 years on there you have 25 with the longer ones a big year so two different ones they have in platinum as well over here for the moon phase which is fantastic and the cool thing is you see these big date function on it which i think is so cool you see in action on just make sure you can that is the hallmark of this brand it is it's incredible you can read it from far away so you gotta start behind it it must be somebody couldn't see well in the Opera House in Dresden Opera House there is above the stage a clock and the way the date mechanism or the time Naknek mechanism works the same as how it works in these watches that was the inspiration for these pieces I mean when there's history going back to 18 mid 18 hunters of the way the date works yes yes mid 1800s but it was that date causes you to make a much thicker watch that's going on it does and I think it's also just the type of casing that you're gonna be seeing on these watches it's it's true to Germanic design this is this is this is Germany this isn't Switzerland yeah how they do it now let's talk about that for a second where do you fit in that debate where do I fit I am a huge lover galanga I'm a huge lover of all watch brands in terms of where they're from grant cycle you mention grants ego many of the people watching right now I would say if you're an enthusiast you don't care where best value of your dollar there's no question when I when I went to buy a piece that was a limited hundred fifty I heard about it by another collector and I was in Los Angeles and I went and bought two that day because there's such fantastic value I haven't stepped into this world yet of longa because I'm trying to get through the whole German thing which I have no problem with because I'm willing to buy a Japanese watches but when you get afflicted with this disease mm-hmm you're talking about a serious amount of capital oh these are some of the most expensive watches on earth yes yes so we should discuss that yes and so in terms of the pieces though I mean if I was just coming in for the first time I mean that is a incredible watch moon phase is my personal feeling on one phase yeah is my the blue that just it just pops the way they do you know I'm always you see these raised this is an incredible dial the amount of work that went into this thing is crazy see those raised yes if I didn't see their beautiful well that's a that's a beautiful watch what is the price of this pre-sex range look bad 54,000 I say Oh sixty to sixty two thousand I understand the buckle cost $10,000 because also platinum whoa okay the buckles platinum speaking of platinum buckles we also have another one over there so just just to give you a sense y'all have you that it's just lift that up yeah now this this watch is taking advantage of a trend for very very large dial size this is reason there's a reason for this I want to see something here this you're gonna see something okay so this is a minute repeater great work minute night work first launched about ten years ago and this is their minute repeater sits about $500,000 watch to get this make sure we have enough power reserve so that red bar right there prom with a lot of mini repeaters that goes past you can really damage the movement so that little red dot and that powers are at the 12 it's letting us know we have enough juice five hundred thousand yes so this is a decimal minute repeater so you'll find what most minute repeaters it's the quarters so every fifteen that second chime is every fifteen minutes yeah this one is every ten minutes but it's stunning it's a stunning watch it's a very large piece I mean it's it's spectacular there's also the standard sight work that's yeah also available it does have a I mean I thinner I think as you collect your way into this brand that's where you go after you've collected some of these RS because I mean this is also spectacular that's the twenty-fifth anniversary thing they only made 250 of those this year so 250 yeah and the price of this forty seven thousand forty seven that's not bad yeah that's reasonable well let's go over here so if you wanna look at the other pillar yeah data graph interest in 1999 so that was a thirty nine millimeter case this is a forty one millimeter case and this is called the up-down that also includes you'll see at the six o'clock the powers or but just looking at the movement if it's absolutely stunning yeah that is also an incredible piece I'm going to say though interfering and we rank it I mean alike now remember I'm not I'm not worried about capital at this point I'm just looking at here we're coming into the brand it's your first time you want something that really really represents what this maze all is all about I think it's this watch I really do because you're not gonna see that anywhere else that classic you know date it's plus you got you've got enough complications there to make it really interesting it's a heck of a conversation piece but you know it's there is no other watch that looks like that and that's why you want to buy one to add to your collection saying well that's different than anything else these two are amazing it was up to me that would be where I think you should stay right here start going it makes sense yeah or what do you have for a chronograph what else do you have for crony yeah I know you have the Daytona's yeah I mean this yeah you know it's true that's pretty well it so then you can also make an argument for that because well FP has this true you know it's it's beautiful well great seems like three successful trip so far right so yeah well I think you really stepped it up here Teddy you're getting into some very both classic and must-haves from a collector's point of view and I wanted to change the conversation from last time so I think this is you're right we've kind of left Switzerland now you have lessons going global here we're gonna go back though because we have one final stop should we do it let's do it let's go I'm really enjoying today I'm wearing as many as three watches today I'm doing a morning watch I'm doing the lunch watch and I'm doing the evening watching you're gonna see a lot of why [Music]
