they're better than they were one year ago you see the Saks / games that's a little down but the yards allowed per game this season is better nobody wants to listen to her it was kind of hard to listen to it right after you lose guys like Wilkins and Lawrence and Pharrell Brian then you lose both inside linebackers in tre Lamar and Kendall Joseph who lose a corner and Trayvon well I'm gonna be better well but they're playing better team defense it's Terrell Jana on the receiving end Darion Kendrick makes the stop gate a five-time you don't lose five defensive lineman that's why none of us did listen but the different looks upfront especially and then the secondary plate Perkins will run forward for a few it's all about Brent Venables you know it's very simple he's the best if not the best defensive coordinator in all the college football and he knows it and all the offenses that go against him know it and he's done an unbelievable job this season with these young players playing especially the linebacker position skal ski and Chad Smith have been out stand on third down and three it is caught it's Dubois for the gain of seven and a first down it is amazing when you look at Clemson's defense last year with that NFL one they were 17th in the country in explosive plays the lab that's 20 or more yards and this year they're fourth from the kingdom the country with a better back 70 clearly not as good [Applause] sideline jab spin forced him out gain of 15 so Tanner beautiful season but he's got beat once already in this game and now he misses this tackle right there and not a great start for Muse he's been outstanding throughout the course of the season he's been a solid dependable tackler and coverage man in the backend but he's got to you see it back line and backs and tying in for Virginia are picking up the pressures from Brent Venables as rush pick up a nice pocket for Perkins to throw from see if Turner's a little banged up but he made the interception in the back of the endzone on the first Virginia possession he'll watch for a bit for how important these first downs and time of possession is for Virginia she's keeping their defense off the fool Perkins got some pressure able to escape out of it we get to see him slide down about 32 by Chad Smith for a gain of five dan was it we see it you see you watch him but he is so dangerous you can't leave a safety like blunt one-on-one man-to-man ten yards off without a reroute off the line of scrimmage that's just asking for these guys to run downfield it's tough it's difficult right didn't even start the game but he became the most explosive player for Clemson in the playoffs and ended up over a thousand yards we see and to have complete possession of the ball and with that catch
