it returns welcome back to awful super nintendo [Music] these are the worst of the worst of the super nintendo [Music] this is a segment that will give you permanent brain damage on your mark get specs [Applause] yep it's guts again everybody so much of this game makes zero sense the animations may be good but as a game it fails on every level i hate it i hate it so much and there's no way to exit once you're in you get pause no menus what's the objective you want to get the aggro crag i guess that's about it um chat remind me i just wanna just wanna be reminded what did i play in guts last time i played it [Music] so we just did the attack um obstacle course the platforming one which one is that [Music] is it tornado run i guess we're gonna find out right [Music] that now mocks me on your mark get set i can imagine people watching part two and then they're like oh thank god that guts game was over [Music] spain damage thank god the guts game was over now i can watch some new terrible super nintendo games nope [Music] permanent spine damage permanent spine damage [Music] [Music] oh no i didn't finish this part i didn't know how to splain damage i'd like to draw your attention to the crowd there is someone that is a sock puppet without the sock this right here who who is this lad it's just a hand from the side it's meat oh definitely is meat-esque all right jokes aside though uh this is terrible and i want to check out more of it because remember there is more than just one guts there's a couple different gut games that you can play there's um so we did the run stimpy games well for anyone who didn't catch part two just as a little bit more bonus materials for those who did uh here is an attempted 3d racing game on the super nintendo in other words this is what it looks like when you set off several nukes at the same time in fireworks mania and this is without the super fx chip remember that so yeah it's terrible um it's you know the technology just didn't exist at this point for this sort of thing trying to shift i don't know i mean it's attempting to be there's like a lot of things to keep track of and i don't i can't even shift it doesn't matter let's play ren and stimpy fire dogs now i had one of these games or at least i rented one a lot but um almost every ren and stimpy game was a huge disappointment and as a running stimpy fan growing up [Music] i really wanted these games to be good i think i had videos which is also on here [Music] don't whiz [Music] sure is some great great music sounds [Music] this which is worse this or the beavis and butthead game i guess we're gonna find out i don't really remember [Music] what is what is this [Music] i am baffled [Music] i mean the only thing it kind of has going for it is that a unicorn not a blade runner reference is it no [Music] keep in mind that stimpy okay so oh it's log keep in mind that this is a business plan so that they can make money by pretending ren is a mouse and yet stimpy is still ren's real enemy like simpy i mean that's kind of in character for show stimpy but he has no problem smacking the [ __ ] out of ren to hurt him also note that there are many stimpys there's not one stimpy [Music] it's another one of these um repeating backgrounds games [Music] home alone looks like this [Music] oh my god so so many of these games yeah then you're back at the beginning but so many of these licensed games end up being just like this it's just like one type of area and then it's pasted over and over and over again [Music] as if the bad controls weren't enough though truthfully this has got way better controls than that previous run and simply game are you sure this isn't just looping i don't know it might be [Music] [Music] [Music] what [Music] i thought i must have been miserable after renting this what are you supposed to do collect money and [Music] avoid and i guess yeah wait for the timer wait for the timer [Music] yeah uh you get an hang on we need to go back to the menu before we find out okay it looks like a backwards cap but it's actually a surgical cap there is like corrupted looking blood vein diarrhea on the screen it's he's gonna shrink and go inside of a person isn't he yep it's gonna be inner space it's gonna be that [ __ ] red and stimpy map we just watched or level [Music] all right every cartoon in the late 80s and 90s had an episode of shrinking and going into like a human body all right um jake westborough thought he had it all a successful sales career with blackburn tobacco company a beautiful wife a great car tobacco company jake started smoking when he was 15 but now he's dying all caps from smoking the cigarettes he once sold [Music] jake's only hope is dr rex ronan a brilliant experimental surgeon dr ronan will shrink himself to the near microscopic size enter jake's body to fight jake's diseases blackburn tobacco companies afraid that jake lives if he lives he'll tell the world how dangerous smoking is they will do anything to stop dr ronan time is running out dr ronin must hurry i didn't read that bottom stuff there hang on so this was made by like this is like an anti-smoking thing like captain novolin is take your insulin this is don't smoke it's educational tar deposits cover the teeth a thick white patch of leukoplakia lines the throat jake's teeth are stained and decayed gums are puffy remove tar and leukoplakia it received support from the us agency for health care research and quality okay [Music] oh god oh my oh god [Music] so you got to get all this off but it it [ __ ] sucks to actually play the game yeah i thought it was going to be a shmup as well the only thing i love the the faces in the top left are pretty amazing there's some like emote meme material up there happening [Music] oh god shoot smart bombs to activate it's educational again [Music] true statement destroys enemies [Music] smoking stains your teeth yellow [Music] honestly this game is so bad it probably would have made me start smoking just to rebel like if you're gonna do i mean i did but uh yeah it wasn't because of this game false statement causes damage oh you actually have to like answer trivia questions while you're playing the game oh my god listen i appreciate the sentiment jokes aside like seriously there's a lot of stuff i wish i could go back in time and just not smoke because it took years for my lungs to get back to light capacity and truthfully i don't think they'll ever fully be but you know it's just what happened so [Music] uh it gave you a cool singing voice though yeah but i've learned i could do that anyway without smoking like freddie mercury smoked because he liked the way his voice sounded but and that was like my excuse because i was just too lazy to try to quit and it is hard as [ __ ] to quit smoking so [Music] but i don't know if maybe i just have the muscle memory for it but if i work a little bit at it and i just you know spend some time practicing i can get my voice back to what that was i just don't enjoy singing like that i actually enjoy singing more the way i do now oh [ __ ] but um why is his throat obstructed by nickelodeon slime familiar sound effect can't place it but but i do appreciate the sentiment and smoking definitely is something that i kind of regret and it wasn't as cool as i thought it was and when you quit as soon as you quit you begin to realize how [ __ ] stinky you are like you you don't realize because when you're smoking you just are that and your senses get kind of numb to it but then like when you stop you notice it a whole lot more on people and places it's kind of it's kind of nasty actually but such is life though i'd never fault anyone for saying that they wanted to smoke because of stress relief or because they're stressed out it helps but the only reason it really helps in my opinion is because you're craving nicotine so it helps just get rid of the cravings okay so vinnie's preaching lesson time is over sorry about that but what i do want to say is i appreciate the sentiment of like don't smoke and let's educate kids on you know what this stuff does to you and what it is [Music] but you got to deliver with the product most of these educational games are really [ __ ] bad [Music] also look at how far you have to be like why do i need to see that far behind my character that is like one of the worst things you can do in a side-scrolling video game like this is have the camera show that much behind the main character [Music] so they're just robots [Music] this game is disgusting [Music] these are the nano machines that snake warned us about smoking gives you robots in your lungs i i guess yeah it does but i guess you could say like [Music] minus the metal all life forms are robots but it makes no sense whatsoever [Music] would that say nobody can make you start smoking yeah now the the portrait damage graphics are incredible [Music] oh oh well again if these educational games weren't so [ __ ] lame [Music] maybe people would have paid more attention to them this one's called road riot 4wd [Music] those cats are driving fast it says okay would cut the resolution or like the screen space to save the on performance but it's split screen and it's displaying the track twice so that can't be the case yeah we could get like a full 8 fps if wrong nothing i could do about that this is walker mode principle mode of the mbs there's a chance i rented this game because i wanted another star fox i remember renting a really bad super fx chip game [Music] this could be it travel through the vortex akido system oh okay yeah i don't think this was the uh oh yeah it is i did play this i'm pretty sure i remember the lasers i was like oh it's like star fox turns out it's not that easy to get a good star fox thing going you have to actually put effort into it this is just uh go along the dotted lines and shoot the things that show up these devs developed the super fx chip for nintendo well the one thing i will say if that's true the frame rates are good [Music] it's not terrible [Music] before you say frame rates are good go into training mode okay frame rates go down in later levels a lot okay yeah the music is good um the lasers look cool you're a mech uh you can go one way you go the other way and i think i'm supposed to collect this nope oh dear lord i'm very confused now okay vinnie transform i don't think you can transform in space also you have different weapons so you have oh yeah you can you can you can kind of what can you do as hard shell hard shellmen huh oh wow okay so if you hold l you become different things i mean it looks a lot like star fox no wonder i rented this i just i have no recollection other than the fact that it was a mech with star fox esque lasers [Music] i just shot a bomb level design folks uh yeah it's it's at least i mean for a lot of games that attempted 3d on the super nintendo it's just really difficult to look at at least this game has some frame rates um i'm probably going to ruin that illusion by checking out the training mode but we'll we'll take a look [Music] well star fox i think just the tech was made and then nintendo did the rest right seriously try the training mode how does one do that oh uh oh oh no [Music] well it's still better than that [ __ ] racing game i played and you can become hard shell and land burner [Music] you you can kind of jump and get stuck vinnie argonaut developed star fox so did nintendo have any yeah they had some hand in it right i mean this came out after star fox it developed under miyamoto's guidance miyamoto drew a cartoon fox okay that explains that [Music] i mean it's not great but it's it's not like one of the worst super nintendo games i've played it it's better than probably every other game on this list doesn't mean i'd want to play the full game actually maybe that might explain it it looks cool as a tech demo it looks cool as a tech demo i don't think i'd want to play the whole game because the more i play this the more i'm like yeah i'm good oh especially here though um i don't remember if i liked this when i rented it and with the n64 not very far away it's like not too long after this came out there would be like actual playable 3d that would um you know that would actually show how viable 3d stuff was because even playstation 1 had a little bit of a late start when i eventually picked up my first place well when i picked up ps1 it was late it was several years after it came out and i remember playing a number of early like demo discs in early games and they were okay i think it just took a while for devs to figure out what to do with 3d there are some good early ps1 games for sure but mario 64 for me was the game changer that was like holy [ __ ] and then i played star star war shadows of the empire and i was like is this good it has to be because it's got star wars in it and wayne's world presented by thq you'll notice a trend if you pay really close attention to all of the developers that show up in um any of these awful snes game parts you'll notice a lot of thq okay because rock and roll is best bagpipes bad i understand thank you game yeah i probably have played this in the past as well but it's a good thing i don't even remember what i played two weeks ago garth have to rescue someone or you know get the guitar of destiny or i guess that's tenacious d it's like no they're just fighting bagpipes and kazoos that have they got sucked into a game i didn't read sorry i don't know how to read yeah a lot of these things like the rocketeer had a great movie terrible game and this is why so many movie games got a bad rap and then goldeneye came along and changed that and then we just kind of don't get movie games anymore you notice that [Music] i mean there will be like an avengers game like a marvel game of course but you know i'm not seeing everything everywhere all of the time i'm not seeing the game for that or the northmen even like top gun 2 which is like the perfect candidate at most just got some dlc for flight simulator and ace combat which i guess makes more sense i guess they go to the mobile game world but it's usually just the like comic book stuff like even james bond barely like a seri the james bond games were extremely um like even before goldeneye there were james bond games now there's like barely anything development costs finally got too high for it to break even yeah i guess that makes sense but then again when you're just like this is shovelware pretty much this technically is shovelware showcase if you think about it and truthfully like good if they're not going to attempt to make you know games that actually sell on their own merit and not just because it's a movie tie-in then [ __ ] it io is making a james bond game oh really we are getting a james bond game remember the rumored goldeneye re-release or remake that we got um we were supposed to get like a couple months ago it's like there's achievements on the xbox goldeneye is definitely definitely happening folks no i guess jurassic park got the park management but that's also a reskin of their excellent um i forget what company that was that made that but it's a reskin of their engine that they already have which is smart truthfully [Music] frontier planet coaster yeah so that's where i kind of think um hitman developers are doing gold in a another james bond game that's that makes sense yeah like if you oh god that's the idol animations i think it makes more sense to take a pre-existing engine or property or developer that knows how to do something and just give it to them and reskin their engine it worked with jurassic world and again uh ace combat is already like the perfect flight game for jets so yeah throw some tom cruise [ __ ] in there why not vinny continue playing this game please nope or you can get a game like that mummy game what the [ __ ] was it the mummy ds game [Music] no wait wait wait wait there was a 3ds game or d-mastered the mummy d-master which is apparently really good it was on tuesday of next week there will be a charity event it is just a one day thing i'm gonna be checking out um it's a game jam hosted once again by a2b2 and uh it's a number of games the theme was corruption there will be a tiltify and uh there's gonna be some some good stuff and i think let me just make double sure what we are donating for because i have an idea but i don't want to say it unless i know 100 for sure what we're doing um beat cancer today so that's the campaign and it is a charity that has been looked into and uh it is on tiltify so if you you know we've used it before and it is a good it is a good thing basically it's on a mission cure cancer is on a mission to make this la the last generation to die from cancer funding the next generation of cancer researchers from all over the world who are working across all cancer types in all areas of cancer research so over the past 55 years cure cancer has raised over 83 million dollars to support 540 life-saving research grants across all cancer types so this is a little bit more general than pcrf but still a good cause and that's what we'll be raising money for i mean it's not something necessarily that you you know it's like how do you not agree with this like it's a good cause but you know i think as someone who's had family members pass away from cancer someone who's had uh cancer sadly in my family that's one of the reasons why we went with pcrf in the first place all those years ago i think this is a good cause too obviously and i would appreciate if you would stop by even if you can only donate a couple bucks and i'll be playing some games that are going to be very weird and corruption themed so yeah that's tuesday um and uh hang on let me just make sure let me just make triple 100
