Vietnam River Cruise

we left the horse behind and we have now arrived at the sole reason for why I booked his tour to begin with I wanted to be in a little boat and paddle down a little River like this so this is the highlight of the day well thus far it's been very I mean very touristy to tourist trap this tour of course but the only way to to go down here and the Mekong Delta in one day was to join this tour pretty much so things are finally looking up let me see if I can walk down these steps without Oh without oh yeah it's as I thought this mod is very very slippery oh yeah I cannot stand here okay we're gonna have to wait until I am I mean in the boat to feel what the water is like may even temp to swim later on we'll see anyway the group is right up here yes the adventure begins it's just uh hello a traditional hat yes all right put it on okay nice now I'm rolling like a local and I'm gonna get your hair and I'm gonna speed things up put you on the tripod guys all right that was five strokes I'm tired 15 minutes they said we're gonna be on on this little you know what to call it tributary to the MEC home I guess do you ever see some animals here some monitor lizard some snakes nothing you take this boat every day you come here oh it's beautiful Wow look at this mega tour group I don't dare to paddle because we're gonna I don't know who's in control the listing what's that water coconut yes you can Smith with we can try to eat that later alright I have to try that later then well look at he's speeding up up front well so what can I say thus far a bit or it's been pretty what you'd expect from any group tour that you do it's a lot of yeah it's very different from the house in the Haitians you guys normally see me do what as I said before I boarded this boat I wanted to come here and travel at these boats and I believe that it was worth spending I think it's five hours since I left to come here actually just to try this because it's really interesting I'm on the lookout for Burmese pythons and monitor lizards because that's what you would see if you were doing this in in Thailand hello there Bonjour do they know that they're metro sucks I let them I'll leave it for now Oh very skilled right gonna give you that's arrest and I'm gonna get to work I'm gonna get to paddling been paddling for ten minutes now and still there are no monitor lizards here no snakes they say there's just too many people too many tourists paddling up and down here every day for them to show themselves there may be some here but they're not gonna they're not gonna roam around here so we can see them you will show me the water coconuts great great water coconuts growing here she says yeah of course of course different what's going on here they're in lodging uh you know you place and yoga all right guys we're being overtaken here so we need to speed things up we're never gonna catch up too far ahead it's impossible at least I gave it a go but that woman up there she's just too powerful they that boat was behind us but now they are overtaking us they're all they're all coming Vietnamese women very strong is that true strong women yes this we've been overtaken again we started we were in first place now we're in fourth hey come on back there what's happening leave we can see how they operate with the rudder controls better feet drunk driving on the river outrageous he's drunk alright we're neck-in-neck here we have 10 metres to go come on I believe in you come on all right I'll help I think the will to win was not there I wanted it but the woman at the back didn't want it enough I give up well the shame so we need an engine like this guy so we're not gonna we're not gonna paddle back this our speedboat is up here but we go into restaurant two for some food and then I'm not sure where we are going I can't expect that we're we're gonna go to some kind of markets similar to what they have in in Thailand floating market that I guess we're not I guess this is this is it fresh bananas you didn't pay her you forgot to pay her okay all right I thought we were last okay we didn't lose we're in fourth place is fifth and sixth so one more I'll the shame is gone so I'm just gonna be interesting off with a hat right you're leaving that here there's gonna be a bit chaotic let's hope someone Falls for entertainment value and abuse trying hard not to talk about a certain metro all right this way this way it is for an order of power looks like it's been answered our room our boat is up there the speedboat I guess see somebody pulls it now it's not gonna be me home sweet home okay everyone who is a boat ride [Music] but three o'clock now so eight hours since this journey began and we can see the city over there in the distance another 30 minutes it looks like we have arrived back where we started the whole journey took seven hours [Music] very very on very good guides by the way both guides knowledgeable spoke great English and jovial and eager to to share their knowledge about the place anyway come back now the Sun Lion Hotel and I still fight for some more tacos at the same joints where you saw the other video from and I'm going to end the video here do I recommend this tour 5050 if you don't have time to go to the Mekong Delta and spend three days you know making your way there staying there sure do the tour if you have that time don't do the tour
