Vespa Ripper OTF (Wuhan Ripper)

hey how's it going everybody um i don't usually do any of these videos matter of fact i've never done them but uh pretty pumped i just got this new uh new vespa ripper straight from the wuhan province and i uh you know doing like a little show-and-tell there because i notice there really isn't that many videos on these things um but uh yeah so just like all the other ones you have seen case little tool because it's got these little proprietary screws you probably came across them i went and checked mine um they were all tight this one here i was able to get a fraction of a turn um but the but the rest of them are tight um i guess if you want to keep your bat skinner polished up you can use this rag on it you know but uh i'm not going to be doing any skinning um extra spring weird only comes with with one but the thing rips i mean i'm used to the this is the first this is the nicest knife around i guess i ought to say that uh i'm used to the go i don't blade play or what is it called now get those lightnings and lightnings and whatever these are which are nice knives um i got i've had probably this one i busted i've had it for a couple years i finally decided that to spend you know they usually get these on sale 40 bucks 30 bucks this one here is a couple years old i finally managed not to lose one i've went through so many of these i finally managed not to lose when i said i'll step up and get this uh they just say it's better than microtech i've handled a few micro techs but without having one here i can't compare but man i can't imagine it getting much better these things are all right here you just just uh put it there for a little comparison um blade out up forgot broke that one screws came out of it i do i am used to this grip tape getting used to not having the grip tape on this uh this is genuine carbon fiber you know it's got the real deal real deal i don't know if you can see because i got the lights on that's that's tritium that glows on that handle that's cool you know i don't know why you really need but it's cool uh it's got the genuine it's got the marking on there too i i've seen where they actually sell one of these out for testing this is a legit m390 stainless it's pretty sharp um you know you ain't gonna be uh skinny it's it's i i i i'd like to put a better edge on it i have to tell if anybody's watching this and can recommend a good a good sharpener i'm always running these cheapos man i run this through the old kitchen sharpener you know i don't have anything it's uh you know i hear m390 stainless is hard to get an edge on but it's supposed to hold it um you know i don't know you know you probably skin a bat with it but i wouldn't get into anything bigger because it'll just it's just not sharp enough something thin skin like thin skin game like a bat that would do it um this would work flawlessly but all along all kinds of side of this sharp it's a lot sharper than this these things go dull quick um but yeah hey if somebody's got a link to something great this is going to be my new daily ripper right here i mean i i use these for work every day you can see these are beat i use them every day uh you know i do a lot of work work on ladders um stuff like that in an industrial environment and so there's a lot of you're carrying equipment with one hand and i need to just bust this thing out cut some cut i but i'll tell you what ninety percent of stuff i cut his electrical tape would it but yeah gotta hold an edge for that though yeah it looks good um perfect it rips i mean you compare it to these these are have a good action as far as i'm concerned but oh yeah and now that now that i now that i'm going back and forth back to back i mean this thing blows it away blade play minimal i i do remember having was that a micro tech scarab i was monkeying around with one of them once and uh this you know there's way less blade play on this this thing's got there's there's there's none going this way at all none and i might go here i just just uh talk about if you know what these are these are always the same you're talking a fraction of bladeplay on this versus that um it's crazy though i mean the thing rips it's got one little spring if you ever to open these up you know there's two pretty hefty looking springs i've seen this little spring i thought to myself well it doesn't look good but this is the extra you know there's only one in here but i haven't opened this up yet but i'll tell you what it's ripped way harder than these old junkers um even when they're new you know you so um oh yeah i ordered it you know direct on i think i used uh i know i use the aliexpress a little bit cheaper um than the dhgate option uh for me anyway you can right around 170 bucks or something shipped um i ordered it let's see this is going on with cove at 19 going on right now may 5th or is it say the fifth or sixth or something it's it's the sixth sixth of may um i probably ordered this uh middle april it's here three weeks um it's faster than what it said on the on the quote i was worried because you know i didn't know we were banning shipping from china or you know wuhan virus and all that so but yeah i mean it i was shocked whenever i just showed up in the mail today so yeah i highly recommend this this is excellent i am very excited like a kid in a candy store it's like like i said i'm doing a show and tell i never even never even had a something a knife is nice and usually too cheap but anybody's got a good uh recommend something nice quick and easy because we can put a good edge on this let me know thanks guys
