hello boys and girls we've got a very special show planned for you today I'm Larry the Cucumber worried ouch wow did you do all this yep elves are good at decorating you're the elf well I brought some lights you always need more lights Larry the cameras on yep say hello to the boys and girls boys and girls I didn't know we were doing a show today well we weren't but then I thought wouldn't it be great as a Christmas present to the kids to tell the boys and girls a Christmas story that's a great idea let's do a Christmas carol I'd love to play the tomato of Christmas present nope not that one hey Bob have you found the lights Wow well called in the elf brigade you're looking at him why are you on the floor elves are a little better at decorating than balancing we're doing a show a Christmas show how about the Nutcracker I could do better with the Mouse King nope nothing Nutcracker I used to it no one told me we were doing a show Larry says we're doing a Christmas show do the Gift of the Magi it's a very inward piece but I'm sure I'd be brilliant at it nope not the Gift of the Magi then what story are we doing Larry the one where I'm an elf and mr. Lunt works for Bob who's the owner of a lighting business who's hired to decorate a mall and by the king of the mall played by Archibald here wait I work for him the king of the mall I like the sound of that where's my scepter Wow Larry this looks nice you're a great christmas decorator thanks Bob but there's a lot more to Christmas than just decorations like helping and giving that smells like a segue I hope you like your present kids Merry Christmas down in our day apparel falala lalala lalala rolling with the youthful Carol fall along a line well yes sir it's Christmas in Spring Valley Mall once again what's that what you mean you've never heard of Spring Valley Mall well surely you must have heard of Mary Leigh and mr. oh you have a my best rectifier that's it's yes and immediately hey buckle up you young bumpkins you're in for a tall tale it's gonna start with them boys right there in that truck these boys are in show business well sorry I can't believe we got a kid decorating a whole mold for the holidays ever since I was a little tomato all I ever wanted to do was make Christmas glitter and glow when it is ain't no birthday party we're in the big leagues now think we can handle it are you kidding all right we'll knock their socks off they don't call me a rock and roadie ready for lovin that's just what you call yourself well if we do this right they're gonna call you mr. Christmas mr. Christmas do you think so anyway you just passed it yes sir rebar shining bike was Phillips bitten hey it was his passion I'm talking about his Georgia fever you might say he's gonna find out quicker than a cockroach that there's more than one way to shine at Christmastime let's hit him with everything we've got I'll get the smoke machines how's business Emma could be better but I can't complain things will turn around nobody's got a better nose for sanding canvas than you thank you George [Applause] Sam you overcharge that thing again morning Macy's Nagar mom George keep an eye on Sam please I don't want him hurt I need to see you in Ziploc for a staff meeting now Spring Valley Mall used to be a popular place hey I'm telling you it was like a fair a carnival and a poop party all rolled into one whoa man I'll tell Mike they had it going oh but lately yeah not so much more like an empty lot there's a hot spot but look they got a plan that's a fact jack christmas is upon us and mr. cash burger wants something extra special this year something spectacular ruler and savings I've made prizes and Friends come on down and see why they call me the mole we could sure use the boast around here yep the store selling I suppose has more customers than we do but are there no time to juice things up this Christmas I decided to bring in the experts Wow or at least the only experts that were available on short notice please welcome mr. Philips legal thank you thank you everyone you've got a nice little mall here but we all know it's not what it used to be I think it's time to introduce you to the future the future of Christmas it means we're taking it up a notch how much is a notch it's more than a few reasons in a bucket of candy canes I'm telling you folks Christmas isn't Christmas without the lights and with your help we'll make this mall the shiniest brightest most Christmasy mall in the state don't look for silent night now you got it get ready for a noisy flashy dazzling nights need a lot to celebrate an awesome holiday I've listed what will be here for the perfect Christmas a million bright lights all strung in a line and silvery tinsel that sparkles and shine and holiday music and electric fireplaces and gingerbread smells if nutcrackers eat cake and reindeer and slaves and hearing then Crosby for 45 days inflated personal men that were balancing polypropylene angels with real flat being whoa that's what Christmas means [Music] taking soul and watching white Christmas buddy time you know [Applause] big pile of frazzled wrapped up in stock just in toxins hey and don't forget Joseph and Mary and sudden oh joy to the world the Lord he heads up don't forget lies first weeping winter to Christmas time that's what Christmas means [Music] and watching will [Applause] so get ready to log in to the most electrifying season you've ever had what I'm just kindling the Christmas spirit this is Lauren Mary Larry our head elf in the elf village Oh kids tell me their wishes for the big list I check it twice it's kind of a permanent installment here where we've got everything covered now buddy yeah maybe you could move your elf house under the stairs over there huh little joke from the new guys move out village and I wasn't joking mr. fleegle being a mall up is what I live for from Thanksgiving the new here and about ten months in between I love to help people and isn't that what Christmas is about oh we just sang a whole song about what Christmas is about don't you need to go cut out some snowflakes or something right you are thanks for the reminder Merry Christmas well that guy's enthusiastic I'll give him that maybe so let's get to work you know who is coming soon know the king of the ball mr. cash burgers coming in two days we need to create the biggest most spectacular Christmas display in mall history doesn't make any sense what I love it now look I like peanuts and I also like your gun once I tried doing both at the same time well let's just say twerk my proudest moment okay so you may have noticed we got two sides each wanting to brighten up Christmas and each in their own way and sometimes even the best of intention ality don't quite mix like the roots of gum bail super Christmas smile come on guys you are Christmas elves kids need us to listen to their Christmas wishes every single year yeah about that reduce the same thing every year yeah it'd be something else like cowboys Christmas cowboy you to take this seriously what about the Pirates no no no you are not christmas astronauts you are elves and that's final have you forgotten the oath pledge no he's nice and he's going boy he had he's always green as an elf I pledge to share the joy of Christmas everywhere and the whole thing see children makes earnest gang games a perfect Beast and do my best I won't be greedy regard and urgency and the Big Finish he said it was reality as an athlete let's do Chasse Christmas everywhere okay excellent now give me the scrolls to quills and plenty ink they're not even cool elves Mexicans that shoot arrows are gone crisps or baking cookies in Italy I want to use every light in the truck and then rinse some more way ahead of you I put on have any black white oh I forgot to tell you I bought some black lights oh and I got a great deal on a snow machine to be a poor floor I will be a winter wonderland or we can use it for the tangka like polar bears ooh maybe we could cover them in fluorescent paint we got a lot to do where's that crew you hired don't worry they'll turn up you go for a turnip sorry we're late okay boys I'm ready if you would be interested in some Christmas kind you might think it was the voice that was sweeter than sugar plums are that carrying look in her eyes or maybe the way she made her own cards but whatever it was Philip and Mary Larry spotted right away yet there was something special about this young something that really shined what's your name little girl Christine Arthur and you made these yourself I sure did I'm raising money to help someone oh I'll take one but are you sure you don't want anything for yourself no sir thank you all I really want for Christmas is to help one of my neighbors you'd rather give help and get a Christmas present of course God gave me a family a mom and a dad he gave me a smile for when I feel glad he gives us hope because he loves everyone and he gave everything when he gave [Music] God sent His Son Jesus to help us that's a lot of life and when I help others I let his love shine through I couldn't agree more and you take the other end of this string to the top of that ladder the really tall precarious one over there sure it sounds harmless what can I do to help you bought a card at the start but I'm worried that I won't be able to do enough enough for what to help mrs. crispy there's not much time I guess that could have been worse girl where did she go what girl she was just here I need to find out more where is she how can I help gotcha time to do my ugly duty sorry I need to commandeer this train in the name of Christmas runaway train George it's room oh I guess I could let go of the lights [Music] oh boy we finally got the wreck cleaned up mr. Fleagle thanks George what was Mary Larry doing on that train anyway chasing after a little girl not just any little girl she's got more Christmas spirit than anyone in this mall well if it isn't her me the train wrecker sorry about that guys do you know how much that train cost um more than I make in a year and that's why I'm recommending to mrs. Crespi yeah mrs. crispy but you didn't finish telling me what it was then need some help with your house what kind of help Wow come with us and see you're the best present itself in the whole world [Music] whoa that's what I call a fixer-upper poor mrs. crispy she's lost everything we've been doing all we can I've been selling the Christmas cards to raise some money but I wish there was something more we could do to help that wish that was a tall order Lawrence figured it'd take a miracle to grant something like that but hey deep down you knew Christine was just trying to give God's love to Miss crispy and that's a mighty powerful thing well we've got to shine the light of Christmas right we're gonna need help a project like this is gonna take a lot of people like how many people one two three way more than three of course that's it mr. flea goes always gettin people's attention with some razzle dazzle so will we will shine some light on shining the light [Music] goodnight mr. fleiger oh thanks Emma good night mr. Fleagle I need your help I get it now everything you said makes sense you do it does if you want to get attention you've got to shine some light on it yes exactly so we need as many lights as we can get blinking flashing glittering everywhere right you want to help with the lights well yeah lights would be a big help okay Reggie and I have to pick up a special package but everything's in the loading dock the turnips can help you then I have your permission I can use them all of course every single one hang them everywhere you can oh thank you mr. flea go what's going on I think our busy little elf is finally coming around oh good let's go get this guy for the Pirates oh good I was hoping you guys would turn up is that a turnip joke mr. Fleagle said you could help me change of plans we're taking all these lights to a new location all of them we decided to use them for more than just mall decorations we're gonna make a Christmas miracle is more crazy elf talk oh no we're gonna light up a poor old lady's house so that people from all over the city can see it when we get done you'll be able to see it from space well then let's turn up the volume it's actually funny how people speaking the same language can totally misunderstand each other here's Mary Larry running off with every ounce of tinsel garland and mistletoe in the mall like some crazed Christmas elf burglar man I'd love to sell all these folks straight but hey I'm just a narrator jack whoa whoa we're just here to pick up an order I had my orders too you know lived in a mud hut for five months in a tree sap I was one with the jungle we're not here to talk about the war okay what war I'm talking about my summer vacation okay uh can we sign for this box and go oh yeah you're the starburst in a box guys loads of fun huge explosion hey just keep it in the sky fellas and say goodbye to your eardrums I can't wait to see the look on mr. cash burgers face when this thing goes off you uh said it I'll go check in with mrs. neder Baum you find the turnips and get that starburst set up that's everything what about this starburst in a box oh you like it put it in the truck mrs. neder bum I just spoke with mr. cash Vega he's on his way already I think you'll see that we've pulled out all the stops and used every trick in that there has to be some explanation Mary Larry was gonna hang even more huh there's the explanation everywhere that guy goes disaster he took all our lights because he couldn't take the competition that doesn't sound like Lauren's dream they've gone up in smoke he wasn't done wrecking our train could there been some kind of a mix-up maybe the turnips took him down for repairs when I'm maybe then the electrical room huh no wait maybe Lost and Found are the storage in repair room ya gotta be hit Mary Mary white I need lights where are the lights [Music] mr. Siegel are you all right no charge I'm not all right everything [Music] I found the other box of decorations can I help with lights I've got it son you take care of the nativity tell me the story again mom hmm how does that start I remember now a long time ago there was a man named Joseph who was supposed to marry a girl named Mary but first they had to go together to the city of Bethlehem to pay their taxes Mary had a baby in her tummy and Joseph looked for a place for them to stay there was no room for them in the end so so so they had to sleep in the stable where the animals lived when the baby was born Mary wrapped him up and laid him in the manger nearby there were shepherds in the fields watching over their sheep all the shepherds were very scared I wouldn't be scared of that angel especially if he was super bright the angel told them the good news the dome Bethlehem the savior is born for you you will find him wrapped in cloth and lying in a manger when we celebrate Christmas we remember the day Jesus was born don't ever forget that Philip but I think I did forget did you find any Knights no I found something even better don't you wreck the Train now we need the light no Reggie that's just it Christmas doesn't need lights or snow or any of that other stuff that's all okay but it's not what makes Christmas Christmas this is do what you'll need to do but you're on your own Philip or should I say Mary Philip doesn't have the same ring to it oh boy haha now this is getting good but you know what Philips not the only bulb with a bright idea it's feeling like Christmas more every minute get dressed you merry gentlemen your undies on display la la la la la la la la something Christmas Day okay hey del what's this all about you might want to put on some sunglasses [Music] I gotta get back I'm too awestruck with childlike wonder you guys sure know how to turn up the brightness never get tired you've got to see this hi everyone thanks for coming Christina's neighbor mrs. Crespi needs our help would you look at this it's just decorations she still doesn't have a house we're gonna need a lot of help fixing it up what do you say well then live to pull folks in like they were Skeeter than junebugs but now that broken-down house was a tugging at their heartstrings hey I've got some extra number in my truck I think I got a B gee that's great I got some tools in my truck I think I could put in some overtime I love dad really Christmas fun [Music] and we'll all show up to take these decorations back down come June or July after all it's kind of tacky if you leave them hanging up all year forgive the delay mr. cash bail kara it's it's just that we're not finished yet well you can't keep me waiting outside my own mall is a work in progress we're doing a lot in secret top secret hidden away it's all part of a grand surprise it's completely empty no lights at all [Music] we tend to forget what it's all about sometimes don't we yes sir we do you know I may be the king of the mall but he is the king of them all here both the king of the ball and no a king of them all of the law listen closely them or two different words how can you both be king of them all we're not king of them all listen you're saying the same thing I'm not saying oh never mind all I'm saying is that this is a very meaningful Christmas display I haven't seen this nativity set in over 15 years wherever did you find it you mean you're okay without all the flash and all the lights oh of course not are you kidding look at this place I mean really a mall needs lights at Christmas don't you think I'm sorry if this is a beautiful statement Phillip but I'm not sure I'd hire you boys again mr. Franco I think I found out where all the lights went it's all over the news how many millions and Spring Valley Mall for their donation it was the best way to get the city's attention to call for help and it looks like health tape [Music] what's going on why are all you people on my lawn this is Class B we're giving you a new house Oh [Music] I don't know what's a god bless you all why'd you do it Lawrence just letting God's love shine through I hear you've got one more surprise left for us today that's right starburst in a box star what to know what Lawrence took the secret weapon and he turned it on that means timer is on and it's gonna set off 500 pounds of fireworks any minute right in front of the porch they're gonna burn that lady's house down all over again I don't suppose you overcharged this one today did you Sam come on okay barber ties it again good I think that's just what I need I've got a Christmas [Music] the walls are up the carpet is almost finished and someone just showed up with a new bed fantastic looks like you'll be waking up on a Christmas morning and you're on the house ma'am god bless you all nothing can stop this from being the best Christmas ever what are you doing scissors I need scissors thank you for doing that thanks for being such a good helper Lawrence and for showing me what shining the light of Christmas was all about giving the love God gave to you there's no better gift than that you stopped us from going up in a fiery blaze which is also a nice gift Merry Christmas mr. Lee go Merry Christmas Mary Larry I thought this place could use a little snow what ready Oh difficulty Lawrence Phillips between the two of you you've made quite a mess of my mall but I'm very impressed by the work you've done here I'd like to put you two in charge of finding ways Spring Valley Mall can help the community all year long that sounds great we'd love that how does managers of community outreach sound to you can I make it marry managers all looks fantastic ass burger we understand it was spring and Valley mall that's responsible for this amazing effort oh yes a wonderful place charming staffed by very caring people well that's a little more about your holiday hours ain't no two ways about it boys girls shining bright was always Philips business now that little fella knows that ain't no better way to shine than to let God love shine through you [Music] [Music] [Music]
