[Music] what is going on my fellow vikings of valheim it is ghost here with an absolutely crazy video for you in this video i'm going to give you over 100 interior design ideas for your builds now a lot of these are modern designs and they're not actually viking related themes but you can modify them or you can use them in whichever way that you want so i'm going to teach you how to make everything you are seeing here and even more so this tutorial offers a lot of ideas but be warned not all of them are survival friendly the intention of this video is to help building enthusiasts in valheim and most of this would be better suited using debug mode that's not to say that all of this isn't survival friendly though so we have a lot to cover in this video so i just wanted to warn you a lot of the steps are sped up and i won't be able to do commentary on all of them so you're gonna have to do your best at following all the steps that you're seeing that being said if you're having troubles keeping up you can always use the youtube playback feature so if you go to the icon in the bottom right corner of the video and you select playback speed you can modify the playback speed a little bit slower and you'll be able to follow along a little bit better another thing i have done for you guys is in the description there'll be timestamps for every single one of these builds so if there's something in specific that you're looking for you can always check the time stamp and go right to it it takes a lot of effort to make content for you guys to enjoy so if you could show me some love and just smash that subscribe button that'd be awesome this is 100 plus interior decorating ideas and this was another build by ghost [Music] the first thing we're going to do is build the mailbox and the doorbell so for the mailbox we're going to use a personal chest on top of a bunch of signs that we stacked up temporarily and we'll remove them after and for the doorbell we're going to use a vertical item stand and it's not shown here but i actually put a mug on it for the button this staircase is not an original idea by me i'm not exactly sure who invented it but it's actually a well-known staircase to build it you just rotate core wood beams around a central pole and then using wood stairs rotate once all the way up on the end of each core wood beam in order to make this easier i would suggest trying to build it from the bottom side of the stairs and not from the front side as you can see it can be tricky sometimes to get that stair to snap to the end of the beam but again try it from the bottom side you'll have a little bit more luck also don't forget to rotate once every time you are installing the beam around the central pole as well as the stairs along the end of the beams [Music] you can then finish off the side of the stairs using 26 degree beams [Music] i included the second floor and the ideas because most people do their second floors using two by two panels but try using one by one panels because they don't have the cross member on the bottom side and make for smooth ceilings which ties in nicely to the next idea so as i mentioned earlier most people use two by two floor panels to build their second floor which leaves a cross member on the bottom side so when you're on your main floor the ceiling looks very busy so you can achieve a flat ceiling by using one by one floor panels and while holding shift just drag it down slightly below that cross member and build out the whole ceiling and you'll be left with a really nice smooth looking ceiling like you're seeing here [Music] smooth walls tie in really nicely with smooth ceilings and in order to get smooth walls i use signs and i actually rotate them so the dots are facing away from me this is obviously really material intensive and probably only better for a debug mode build but it's something i wanted to add as a detail for interior design because it actually gives you quite a nice effect you can also do other things with this and i'll show you in a second how you can make patterns in the walls using these signs so here we've got a couple of patterns we've got a brick pattern and we've got a slat wall pattern for the slat accent pattern all you do is you stack signs up and you leave a gap in between them it's that simple for the brick pattern we use the same technique except this time we leave gaps on all four sides of the sign so that they look like bricks you can create a really modern looking accent wall by stacking vertical two meter posts in front of each other and just removing the ones in between you can use this idea to separate rooms without creating a complete barrier and it gives it a more open concept feel this is a really cool accent wall that can be used in like a church or a castle and to create it what i do is i stack raven chairs on top of each other so i'll create a row of raven chairs tightly packed together then i'll place a one by one floor panel on top of those and then on top of the floor panels i place another row of tightly packed raven chairs after that i use posts in between every chair and then i'll remove the floor panels and place signs in between the chairs to fill in the gaps so there are a ton of different custom handrail designs that you can build using different weapons in between posts so i've got a row of different railings that you can see here using different weapons and i'll show you the pattern that you need to build to use all these weapons because some of the spears need a one meter gap in between them in order for the weapon head not to stick out into the other section of the railing so there's two types you can do a one meter wide section or a five meter wide section depending on what railing design you're choosing the one meter wide sections are very simple you just have to spread the posts one meter apart obviously with the item stand you got to make sure that the tab is facing the right direction and it all depends on which tool you are using in between the posts and you'll have to figure that out by placing the tool in and seeing if the railing looks proper if not take it off and switch the item stand to a different direction the five meter sections get a little bit more complicated so i'll explain them in depth so what you're gonna do is you're gonna place down a two meter beam then a one meter beam and then a two meter beam and at all their intersections you're gonna put your posts in and you'll continue this down the line for however long you want the railing but what's important here is the direction that the tab on the item stands face as well as how to get proper spacing in between them so as for the item stand tab direction make sure that the tab is always facing in towards the one meter section that makes sure that the weapon head faces into the one meter section and there's enough space in between the two larger sections that the weapon head won't stick into the other two meter section for spacing the item stands correctly you're going to want to hold shift while placing a beam in between the posts so that it sits on top of the floor and then place your item stand and then again with another beam hold shift place it on top of the lower beam and you're going to keep stacking beams and putting the item stands on top of them so that they're evenly spaced after you've got all the item stands in you just remove all these temporary beams and place your weapons in [Music] crown molding is a detail that i add in a lot of my builds but it can be really finicky to actually build especially on outside corners which is why i'm focusing on that you'll notice that i place a beam and then remove it and then place a beam and remove it a lot and the reason for that is i'm trying to make the edges nice and square at the end so that you don't see the end cuts on either side the other thing i do is i'll place a backer piece on top of the next row and that gives me something to put my cursor on and slide the next beam up into place and work that row to get everything all nice and lined up an inside corner is very easy because you can make the pieces line up nicely without much effort i like to do three rows high you can do two you can even do one you can do as many as you want with this [Music] idea in a coffered ceiling you want all the squares to be roughly the same size so you need to do some quick measurements to be able to figure out how many squares across and how many squares long you can actually get the pattern but the first step is going to be creating a border all the way around the room to do this i just used two meter and one meter beams to figure out how many squares across the room i can get i put in some temporary beams until i have a gap at the end that doesn't allow me to fit a full beam in from there i rotate some beams perpendicular and see how many i can fit in that space in this case that's two so that will tell me that there is two beams running down the center of the room and that will make three roughly even squares the beam that runs the length of the room should touch the end of the beam that runs the width i put a square on one side and then i place another one on the other side and then i fill the middle in with one full beam and then from there i just run the two beams down the middle of the room and the next step will be filling in the rest of them and to make that happen i just use temporary beams to measure the distance so that they're exactly one beam and place the rest of the beams in for the width of the room after i've done the first row doing the remainder rows is pretty easy you just line up the beams with the ones that you've already placed in the previous row create a stepped pattern inside of each square by dragging the beam up slightly and making sure that the bottom face is flush on all four sides this is by far the most time consuming part of the entire build the last part is using a one by one floor panel to create an additional step in the pattern depending on how big your squares are you may need to use multiple floor panels but this one i just happen to get away with one one by one floor panel i like to build the inside of the windows out just like i do on the outside to add depth to the windows from both sides i like to leave a border or reveal as it's called all the way around by offsetting the beams and posts on all four sides where i can make it work adding depth to your windows can really increase the aesthetics of any room that has them in it you can achieve this same effect by using signs and vertical item stands rotated backwards as well if you wanted to try that out this idea was given to me by a member of my discord by the name of ogre slayer to make this you use benches stacked up inside the finished opening of your windows you can try putting them on just the top side of the windows for a cool effect or do a tall window like in the front of my house but it gives the illusion of louvers or even blinds in some cases lighting is a very important part of any home but it's not just so that you can see what you're doing in that room it can also be used for an ambiance or even for accenting certain things in this section we're going to be doing different lighting techniques throughout the house and the first one is going to be the strip lighting effect which is really good for ambient lighting and subtle accenting it can be used along the ceiling or even in the walls i'm also going to show you different light fixtures that you can build throughout the house such as a small chandelier and various other wall sconces i'll even show you how to modernize the bronze wall torches if you're looking for a large chandelier i have a how to build video on a large three-tiered chandelier the link for that video will be in the description the strip lighting is fairly easy to actually build and to do that you're going to need to use a beam and mount it to the wall a little trick here is depending on how close the beam is to the ceiling the light effect will be more or less pronounced the closer the beam is to the ceiling the less pronounced the further away the more pronounced after you've got your bee mounted to the wall place some item stands along the top of it you don't have to make them perfectly straight like i have unless you want the mushrooms visible then just place your mushrooms on the stands and after that you can use some signs rotated so the dot is facing away from you and mount them so the sign just covers the bottom of the mushrooms this is a fairly simple chandelier it's as easy as mounting signs to the end of a beam to be able to mount the signs just put in some temporary one meter beams rotate it around in a circle and then place the signs on top of that rotating twice every time so you're placing signs on top of every other one meter beam and then use item stands on the end of those signs and place mushrooms on top of them if you're looking for a little bit more of a detailed chandelier you can visit the link in the description of how to build a chandelier i did a video on a nice three-tier chandelier that would look really great in a large great room [Music] for the spiral chandelier all you have to do is use item stands mounted to the bottom of a pole and rotate them once every time you place them the trick to getting a nice spiral here is making sure that one corner touches the center of the side of the previous item stand so when you place one make sure that the furthest corner touches the center of the side of the previous item stand after you've created the spiral stick a shield on the top and then just mount yellow or blue mushrooms to the spiral you can also use certain trophies if you want to try that that would be a cool idea this is my favorite light that i've come up with so far unfortunately it uses an item in the game that you can't normally get so you're gonna have to spawn it in the first step is to stack vertical item stance of the wall in front of you and in order to get the spacing for the signs you're gonna need to install some temporary signs with horizontal item stands in between them once you have all the spacing figured out just remove the temporary signs and then install the swords these swords let off a lot of light which is why i use them and the spawn command for them is at the bottom of the screen now just place signs on the item stands and wrap them around the sides pot lights are pretty easy to make you just use vertical item stands create a box and then fill it with whatever you want to use for a light i suggest a certain trophy or one of those flaming swords or even mushrooms for this vanity light i mounted a sign to the wall with three item stands and then i placed mushrooms on it after i placed the mushrooms i placed item stands halfway through the mushroom head then i removed the mushrooms so that i could gain access to the top item stand and i placed bronze shields on them after i placed the bronze shield i just placed the mushrooms back and i have a simple vanity light the modern vanity light is the exact same process as the simple vanity light the only difference is you mount a sign to the face of the item stand instead of mounting bronze shields and you don't need three item stands for the bronze shields just one item stand for the sign to modernize the standard wall sconces we're going to be using a little technique that i'll show you here and start you want to mount a sign underneath the light and that will give you the spacing needed for the next steps where you're going to mount one meter posts on either side of the light so the posts line up with the top corners of the signs and then you're going to mount signs on the inside between these two posts and then you can mount barb posts on top of the first posts to give yourself a spot to place your cursor to place the final sign after you've placed the final sign in front of the torch just remove everything and you have a modern wall sconce here's another variant of a vanity light that i came up with using fine wood bows and you place three item stands along the bottom and then a line of four item stands in the middle vertically you'll mount two mushrooms on either side and then three fine wood bows up the center and then use a queen's jammed at the very bottom central item stand and that's it this light's done in the exact same way as the modernized bronze wall sconce the only difference is it uses a vertical item stand and a circling trophy a pole light is super simple to make you just have to stack item stands but what i want to show you here is that depending on how far away you're standing when you first start the stack the stack will be angled backwards the trick here is that you need to angle this stack backwards so that the front of the mushroom show and the item stands don't so play around with different angles and you can get more vertical or more angled pole lights furniture is an important detail that makes any build look lived in so in this section i'm going to show you all the little furniture things you can add to your build a wine rack is really easy to make you just stack stools and then use signs along the sides to cover the sides up you can then add item stands and put items in between them if you want to build a bookshelf all you do is stack signs and then in between the signs you'll use one by one floor panels to get the floor panels spaced evenly place a vertical item stand on top of it and then place the next floor panel once you've completed the bookshelf use vertical item stands in between the shelves and make sure to space them nicely or even add gaps between them to make them look more [Music] realistic [Music] don't forget to add detail on the top of your bookshelf by using item stands and mounting various items the game already offers its own table but we're going to create a dining room table with rounded ends here and to do that we're going to place down a one meter post and then rotate one meter beams around it in a half circle then we're going to add a two by two floor panel to the end of this half circle and then add another half circle on the end of that using the same technique for the first one we can add detail to the top of this table by using item stands and mounting things like bronze shields for plates and if you want to just have a square dining room table just use a 1 meter post or even 4 for each leg and then place a 2 by 2 floor panel on top of that speaking about the tables that the game already offers you can modernize this table by just placing signs along the edges of it here's a four leaf clover table i came up with by simply stacking item stands on an angle to create a cool base and then placing banded shields on top of them [Music] for a sectional couch i use one by one floor panels placed in an l pattern with one and a half rows to create the half row i place the second panel halfway through the first and i stack the shape five high then i'll wrap the edges with signs and to create the back i'll use half walls then i will wrap the half walls on both the front and back side with signs to make it look smooth and then to add pillows i will take signs in a random orientation and stack them forward try rotating some of them in different angles just to create a more realistic look for a modern armchair and ottoman i use one by one floor panel stacked four high and then i use signs on the front and the sides to smooth it out and i'll use two signs on the back to create the back of the chair then i place signs along the sides again to create the arms of the chair for the ottoman i just stack one by one floor panels three high and use signs on all four sides to smooth it out the love seat is exactly the same as the armchair it's just twice as wide [Music] [Music] here i'm going to modernize the dragon bed by just using signs on the sides for the backboard and even for the pillows the same technique can be used for the smaller bed and you can even add item stands afterwards and place fish wraps to make them look like little mini pillows as long as you have the green side of the fish wrap facing away from you you can take the modernized bed and create a four-post bed by adding posts on all four corners with beams across them and then you can use banners like curtains to add that element of privacy do [Music] so [Music] here are some stools benches and chair ideas that you can build here's a gaming slash office chair that you can build and to start this off you're going to create a cross using item stands make sure that the tabs on the item stands are facing out and this is important for one of the next steps once you've created the cross you're going to be using bronze helmets and sticking them to the last item stands the reason we had the tabs facing out was because the helmet looks more like a wheel in this direction than the other direction now destroy the two pieces in between the wheel and the center section then add four item stands to the center and connect the center to the wheels with item stands add 10 or 11 item stands to the center and then place a one by one floor panel on top of that and to build the back of the chair use two signs stacked on top of each other and then for the head rest use a vertical item stand you can make sure that these stay flush by mounting a backer piece on the back side and then removing it after you've placed the next piece to build the arms just mount item stands to the side of the back of the chair and this orientation would be the office chair next we'll change it into a gaming chair for the gaming chair mount vertical item stands on an angle to create bolsters and then use horizontal item stands along the base of the chair you can either leave it with one of the bolsters along the back or you can change it and go all the way up to the headrest and then go around the back side and finish off the back of the chair with vertical item stands rotated so the flat side is facing out this bench is very easy to build you just stack signs in a row and then you remove every other sign then you use vertical item stands in between the last two signs for the legs for the coat rack bench i stack eight signs two wide four high on the wall and then what i do is make a temporary stack of signs on top of this so that i can have something to put my cursor on and slide a two meter beam over top of the signs then i'll get rid of the temporary signs next i use one by one floor panels on the ground and then i place signs on top of them to create little cubbies then i'll stick a sign on the side of one side to give me a backer to work off of while i place a one by one floor panel on top to create the top of the bench then i place signs along the front so that the text field is out and i use a hyphen to create the handle of the drawer for the actual coat hooks i use horizontal item stands with the tab facing the wall and then i mount stone axes on them here are two very simple stools the first one just uses a one meter post with a item stand on top and a shield mounted this would be a backless stool to create the other version you just add a vertical item stand to the back of the post and add a square shield to that totally not viking but definitely cool computers and workstations you can create a simple laptop with nothing but item stands and a sign the item stands are the keyboard and the sign is the monitor even more impressive is the gaming pc with rgb to start it off you need to stack signs one and a half high but you're also going to need to make them too thick and then you're going to place a vertical item stand on the back side so the tab is facing out towards the front of the computer and then you're going to mount a mug on that and that's going to be our cpu cooler now add a sign to the front so the text fields facing out add a bunch of dots and dashes but make sure to add four l's because that's going to be the ram slots now build up the sides of the computer using vertical item stands and i suggest having the tabs facing in on the back panel and out on the front panel later on you'll add some item stands with the smooth side facing out on the front [Music] to create the psu just stack a bunch of item stands on the back side of the computer and then create a base with the rest of the item stands then you can mount mushrooms or anything else that you want in there for the lighting for the top of the pc stack a bunch of item stands all the way across make sure that they're down from the top of the pc about the width of two item stands and that will give us enough room to mount mugs in and they'll act like the fans and they won't stick up too far after you place the mugs in create another two layers of item stands to create the top of the pc of course we need our rgb and we can get that by installing the custom led mushrooms which come in yellow or blue and then of course you slap on your front panel and if you've noticed there's no gpu but who can get a gpu these days if you wanted one you can make it out of item stands and stack them along underneath the cpu cooler for a desktop workstation you can create a monitor by stacking item stands and placing a sign on the front of them you can create the keyboard with item stands as well as the mouse pad and to create a basic pc you just stack two one meter beams [Music] [Music] now you have a place to put that office chair that you just built a few minutes ago no office would be complete without a filing cabinet so here we're going to build a filing cabinet using vertical item stands it's just as simple as stacking three of them high and then creating a box with the rest of them for the top i just used some item stands this section will help us fill out our rooms with entertainment items this is a basic floating modern style fireplace with a cabinet along the side and to build it i just create a rough frame using beams stuck to the wall and then i cover the face of it and signs for the actual fireplace i mount item stands inside the opening and i attach certain trophies for the fire effect and then i'll even mount some mushrooms along the top for some backlighting you can actually use the wingding font for symbols not all of them work but a few of them do and one in particular is this circle that you can use for handles add in some mushrooms for backlighting and it will help to distinguish between the fireplace and the tv above here's a very simple wall mounted tv using half walls and signs mounted to the face you can even try that wing ding trick in the bottom right corner to make the buttons look better try adding some backlighting around the tv as well it looks really cool when it's done here's a speaker design that i came up with using vertical item stands you'll create a tower three item stands high where the center item stand is actually rotated with the flat face out then you're going to mount three item stands behind this central one with the tabs facing forward so you can mount a mug to it and it doesn't stick out too far and then you just mount bronze shields to the face for the speakers use item stands to create the top of the speaker this is where i mount the three forward facing item stands and when you attach the mug you'll see that it doesn't stick out too far this is another variant of a speaker it's a speaker on a pole to make the pole i just stacked item stands and then i created a base for the actual speaker using four item stands in a square then i used vertical item stands in a box and i actually filled it solid with item stands to make the top easier to place for the top i used horizontal item stands and then i just mount a bronze shield to the front of it this type of fireplace would be really nice between two rooms because you can see through it to build it you're gonna need to stack stones and then support them with posts so you can knock out one of the stones and then you're gonna place item stands with certain trophies on top you can finish the outside of this with signs i think it would look really nice with a modern build and it would just add a little bit more aesthetics to this fireplace this section is all about sculptures and small details if you saw how to build the spiral chandelier the same rules apply for this you're going to want to rotate the item stands once every time you place one and make sure that the corner of the item stand is halfway through the side of the previous item stand you also want to make sure you're as close to the center of where you want to build the sculpture as possible preferably over top so if you're in debug mode you want to go into fly mode and get right over top of where you want to place the sculpture if you're not in debug mode it might still work out where you can get kind of a weird curve to the sculpture that might accent the spiral effect that you're getting with this piece a ceiling fan can be built by just stacking item stands from the ceiling and then what you do is use beams temporarily mounted to the bottom of this post which will give you a surface to build the fan blades and to build the fan blades you just use item stands too wide and however long you want them after you've created the fan blades you can destroy the temporary beams and then you can add a shield to the bottom side i actually suggest adding two shields and what i did was i added a silver shield and then a couple of more item stands and then a bronze shield just to top it off [Music] i've actually already done a how to build video on this grand piano this footage is actually from that video so if you're interested in a more detailed explanation of how to build this piano the link for that video will be in the description i just wanted to include this because it is an idea for interior design and i thought it would be fun to put it in [Music] here so my [Music] so there's actually a bit of an easter egg in this video and i said the same thing on the actual how to build video if you can guess what i put on this sign put it in the comments i'd love to see your guesses these are some very basic washing machines and dryers built with signs i create a box using signs and then i put a vertical item stand on the inside facing out and i mount a shield to the front you can also make these stackable or even side-by-side machines [Music] here's a very simple laundry hamper i make with signs and vertical item stands as well as horizontal item stands for the horizontal item stands they go on the top with the tab rotated away from you and i place fish wraps on top of it the reason the tab is rotated away from me is because the green side of the fish wrap actually faces the tab and in order for it to look like towels or clothes you want the white side facing you here's a privacy shade that would be a nice detail in like a bedroom and to build it i use vertical item stands stacked four times and then i'll place shields on the second and fourth item stand i rotate these on about a 45 degree angle to make it look like it is corrugated like the real privacy shades and the spacing for these can be a little finicky but it's a trial and error process to get the right spacing this is a very simple one but it will add a little bit more character to those mounted trophies so what you want to do is mount two vertical item stands in front of each other and mount the trophy to the front and the shield to the back this is a quick one you can add a thermostat with a vertical item stand and a mug it can also look like a button this section is aesthetic storage ideas this packs wardrobe system has a few different ways you can build it it doesn't actually have any storage crates in it but you could put them in if you wanted to but how i did this was i created a little shelving system in this cubby that i made with this wall and then i added some benches in the front where i could just toss down some clothes and then there's two versions that i can show you here one is like a cupboard and the other is a rod that looks like it's holding up clothes and to build the rod i just use a item stand with the tab rotated in the direction that i want the weapon head to face and then i just place a spear on it you can create closets like this to put in your workbenches and forges and stuff which is actually what i did in my long house build but for this build i wanted to build something a little nicer so i decided on a pax wardrobe system but closets are something i add in almost every one of my builds [Music] [Music] floating shelves are really easy to make i just mount item stands to the wall and then use them to slide a beam so it's not so pronounced and sticking out of the wall [Music] so exterior furniture to spruce up the outside of your house [Music] for the barbecue i start with two beams on the ground and then i place three stools down in front of those beams then i'll take four chairs mount them on top of the two beams so that the back of the chair is facing me make sure to pack them as tightly together as you can mount two signs to the sides and two signs to the front making sure that the front ones are lower than the side ones and making sure that the text field is facing out so you can add zeros or o's for the dials add two signs in front of the chairs and then use horizontal item stands in a row and add certain trophies for the flames then you can use another item stand in the center and add a shield for the grill you can then add a second girl on top by mounting another item stand to the top of the back signs and putting another shield on that [Music] after you've finished you can destroy the two beams that you placed in step one and that's the completion of the barbecue this little mini barbecue is a cool little thing you can put on your patio and to build it you just start with a two meter beam then place two signs on top of it two signs on the front of it making sure that you leave the two front signs up slightly to make kind of a trough and then you place item stands inside of it with certain trophies on top and then you mount item stands to the back signs with the tab facing away from you and put stone axes on it and then you can finish the ends off with vertical item stands rotated so the flat face is facing out [Music] [Music] a pergola is a decorative piece added to a deck or a patio and it's kind of a roof but not really a roof it doesn't actually have any shelter it's just more for decoration to start it off i use a two meter beam and then i'll place signs on either side of that and then i just start placing beams and signs alternating until i get all the way down the entire length i want to build a pragola after i've done that i remove all the beams you can add a lounge chair around your pool or on your patio and to build this i use three chairs stacked in a row tightly packed together then i add one by one floor panels and then wrap those in signs and to build the arms i just use item stands do for this small round table i just use a stool with an item stand on top and a shield mounted to the item stand [Music] this fire pit is a floor stone with a fireplace on top wrapped in signs and a mini pergola on top this hot tub was an idea given to me by a reddit user by the name of rock saltiness it's pretty self-explanatory you just use beams on the bottom and then beams wrapped around the side you place blue mushrooms on the inside using item stands and that's it [Music] if you're unsure of what the spawn command for blue mushrooms is it's at the bottom of the screen it's spawn mushroom blue with a capital m and a capital b and no space in between them trees and bushes are always a nice addition to any home to spawn in a tree you use the spawn command spawn beach underscore small one and this will spawn in a tree that takes 20 seconds to drop and then you can build a little pot around it using a vertical item stand and creating a box around the base of the tree you unfortunately aren't able to plant trees on the second floor of a house because they will fall down until they touch the ground for a bush i use this little trick by sticking a beam off the wall and this gives me the proper space from the wall when i want to spawn the bush in to spawn it in you use the code spawnbush01 with a capital b this will also take around 20 seconds to fall and then you can finish off the area around the bush any way you please you can either use beams or what i like to do is use signs for like a little planter a kitchen is one of the focal points of every house so in this one we're going to have a lot of details like appliances cabinets a pantry lots of little things to add detail to your kitchens i actually like to lay out my lower cabinets before i ever do any building and in this case i use stone but somebody on reddit actually mentioned to me trying arches because they have smooth tops so you can either use stones or arches you may have also noticed that the sink is already built and to do that i just removed one stone use signs around the opening and a one by one floor for the bottom of the sink for the range hood i busted a hole in the wall and i placed some floor panels outside which gave me a backer to place my cursor on and slide the 26 degree roof ends further out to the outside of the house and this helped me create a realistic looking range hood and then i just filled the hole back in for the upper cabinets i just used small doors meshed together tightly so they look like a cabinet and i set them at the same height as the range hood mounting them from the bottom side of the bulkhead above for open shelving i just mount signs to the wall then i use one by one floor panels to create the shelves i like to mesh them into the wall slightly so they don't stick out too far past the cabinets if you want deeper shelves you can double up on the depth of the cabinets as well for the base cabinets i just wrap signs around the stone and in order to create the cabinets or the doors and drawers i just stack signs on top of this first layer make sure you put the signs with the text field facing out and you can use hyphens for the handles make sure you add spaces before or after the hyphen to be able to push it left or right if you want it in the center just use one hyphen for the doors just stack the signs with no space between them for the drawers leave a space in between the signs for the range hood i use signs for the front panel and then i use a one by one floor panel for the cooktop i'll place stacked signs in front with the text field facing out so i can add the buttons and for the cooktop i just use item stands and then i mount bronze shields to it i also added some item stands in the center for kind of a grill area and then i'll add the control panel on the back using signs for the kitchen faucet i'm just using item stand stacked this could take some tinkering to get a shape that you actually like here's a little cutting board that i make with some item stands a shield and some bread you could also add a knife in there if you wanted for the refrigerator you want to place a full wall on the bottom and a half wall on the top leaving a gap in between them and then you can use vertical item stands as the handle holders for the handles i'll show you a bunch of different weapons that can be used as refrigerator handles i already have built this pantry before the video and the reason for that was to make it a little faster but what i do is i build the enclosure using signs and then i place the doors in after i place the doors i go and place all the shelves in by using one by one floor panels after that you can fill this pantry with all the greatest food items you have around your house by using item stands and placing the food items on those item stands under cabinet lighting is a nice accent that you can do for a kitchen it adds a nice glow to the countertop and to make that just use item stands mounted to the backsplash and put mushrooms on those item stands if you're going to use an under cabinet lighting you're also going to want a valence trim to hide the mushrooms so to do that place a temporary sign anywhere on your cabinets this is used as a backer to line the rest of them up then put your cursor on that sign slide the rest of the signs down so the top of the signs are on the bottom of the cabinets and then replace that first sign with one at the same height as the rest of them here's a quick tip for stacking things especially if you want to make something that look like dishes just use item stands and then bronze shields make sure you put two item stands in between each shield so they look like they're stacked the last part of this video takes us to the bathroom and a bathroom is also another important part of the home so in this part i'm going to show you how to make a toilet a shower a tub a vanity and a whole bunch of other little details this is a curbless shower if you wanted to build a curb shower just use a two meter beam and build a curb across but the first thing we're going to do is create a drain using a item stand and then we're going to move on to the shower head for the shower head we use item stands mounted off the wall and we'll place a bronze shield at the end of it with a stone hatchet on the item stand that faces the wall then we use a vertical item stand against the wall for the shower control valve and to finish off the shower we'll then use an iron gate to build a shower shield you could build a full enclosure using iron gates but i just prefer the little shower shield for a bathtub you're going to want to build it in between two walls and the first step is going to be placing item stands in the corners and this will give you a measurement as to how far to place signs from the wall to create a nice border when the tub is done being built now you just fill in a rectangle with signs the size of the tub that you want next i install beams by holding shift and dragging them down just so they cover the very top of the signs and this will give me a platform to mount item stands all the way around the border of the tub try to keep these item stands as straight as possible because they will be visible you can add an additional layer on the front of the tub just to add some thickness to the front wall using signs alternatively you could use the item stand border like we just did after that create the bottom of the tub using one by one floor panels to create a drain just use a item stand and for the tub control valve use a vertical item stand on the wall with a horizontal item stand below it with the tab facing the wall and a stone axe on top for the toilet start with a one meter beam against the wall and then use another one meter beam in front of it and slide it down slightly then switch over to one meter posts and put two of those on top of the second beam so that they overhang slightly then grab a chair rotate it so that the back goes through the two vertical posts and then take an item stand mounted to the very tip of the seat and place a round wooden shield on it after that you can switch to a vertical one meter post and put it on the front of the toilet but below the toilet seat if you run up to the side of the toilet looking at the seat you can press your use button and actually sit on this toilet for the vanity i place signs on the walls and i create a rectangle to make the vanity a little bit more realistic in size i use two signs on the end as backers to be able to slide the sides into the wall slightly and build the front of the vanity i then fill the bottom of the vanity with one by one floor panels and then i stick a item stand in the center for a drain and then to build the faucet i use an item stand with the tab facing the wall and i throw on a stone axe for shower bench i will use signs across the opening so i can line the edge of the bench up with the side of the curb and then i just create a rectangle with signs and fill the top in with one by one floor panels for a shower niche i suggest that you have the walls lined with signs and then all you do is remove one of the signs place item stands along the bottom edge and place whatever items you want on there a towel bar is pretty easy it's just an item stand with the tab facing the wall and an iron mace placed on it for a trash can you can just use vertical item stands rotate them so the tabs are facing inside and create a box for a toilet paper holder you can use an item stand with the tab facing out to you and a hammer there isn't too much in the way of making a nice mirror so for this i just used a vertical item stand and a black painted rectangular shield and that is the end of a hundred plus interior design details i hope you guys are still with me on this video and if you are i hope you enjoyed it and got a lot of good ideas for your builds if you did like this video please like i said at the beginning of the video go over to my
