V8 Willys Jeep rescues stranded Nissan in a snowstorm!

[Music] as you can see it's snowing if it's snowing here at my house in the desert that means it's snowing like crazy up on the mountainside but you already know that because you just saw the little intro clip but you can also see we got the wheelies hooked up because we are going on an off-road recovery and you also already know that because you saw the little intro clip well good morning sunshine good morning hey i got some good news what i got a new heater for the willys it doesn't is that gonna make a difference because it doesn't have a top hardly no it's not going to make a difference at all because it's still sitting in the shop no i got to put it in still but eventually we'll have a good heater in the willys and i kind of have a top i don't know if it'll contain any heat meryl you're going to freeze i don't know how well that shows up on the camera but it went from like just a light little snow to it's it's dumping i realize there's this many places up here oh there's a lot up here there's even some past the falls or the falls parking lot now we don't want to do is go sliding down and plow the one of the bridge pillars people have done that both of them end up messed up pretty good yeah there's cones right there it's pretty though okay they should be here in a black jeep probably that black jeep right there all right so we are going to go just up the hill here a little bit oh yeah we might not make it i don't see the problem yeah put a better top on this thing dude the beamer made it why didn't you i don't want to hear it watch out i'm going over there look we got wipers they kind of work see it's a good thing we don't have a top on it or otherwise the window just fogged up so we got me we got austin evan we got merle and we got a snow bank all right it's a little crowded into willy's but we'll make it work i had a second wiper on it but it broke off so i only got the one on this side now but it works so they are right there it's downhill all the way to them i am going to turn around in that spot right there we found man you got blasted eyelashes just keep it in the road i'm just going to find a big old ditch on one side or the other straight [Music] that's the way i'm trying to turn [Music] get about three less pounds there i think i could drive a lot better all right so what do we got going on so so you're kind of good here you just can't get correct out there correct okay well since we're good here probably easiest to spin it around forward here yeah then i'll hook on to you and just pull you up out of here as far as that's kind of what we were trying to dig this out yeah we've dug all of this out it's trying to like create a space oh i see how it is uh yeah we should be able to between that and the winches on that one and trees and stuff get this thing spun around right here since you guys this is awesome you dug a huge yes you sorry you not you you dug a huge turn around right here oh there's a hot springs right there let's go check that out it is knee knee deep here and this is a hot springs that's pretty cool rural bottomed out this jeep doesn't have parking brake so austin's hopping in and put his foot on the brake don't let it die either okay yeah let your wheel turn this way you're fine now turn your wheel the other way and put it in reverse and keep turning passenger if you can there you go hold up let me catch up with the winch there's some riley conditions out here not yet let me pull you for a minute okay turn it my way and give a little throttle see if you can turn this way as you go forward i forgot the forward part okay see if you can get forward keep going keep going a little more okay now turn passenger side give a little throttle in reverse okay hold up there a little more okay turn my way back and drive and see if you come forward okay turn passenger let's see if you can back up and get on the road that's good right there yeah these flat straps are life savers you can hook them through the rim and they'll go right past the brake caliper and all that because they're so thin so he can spin his wheels while i'm hooked up and help break traction as i'm pulling them it works out really well okay now there's a big question do we use the cascade heavy rescue income reel or the mats off-road recovery income rope which one's better austin the yellow one the yellow oh you all right gotta give some props to matt once in a while yeah once in a while like all the time this is a kinetic rope so it's stretchy oh okay yeah so it won't shock load and it'll let me get a bit of a run and be able to pull and then put the all the kinetic energy of this into pulling that's going to go from a dead stop then it won't shock load your rig either awesome so we'll hook on and we'll just go go as far as we can go sorry this is the way i want to be on youtube but go get some gas [Music] it won't be long before it's covered in snow again [Music] can't hardly see it but so austin is stressed stressed out had to grab a chew i'm having a blast i don't know what your deal is merle's having some fun we got them unhooked uh it's all downhill from here except for the flat at the bottom but i think they'll be okay down there that's not a good thing it's all downhill from there it is one way or another let's go [Music] if you don't smell burning oil you're not so the hood your hood is a super good idea until you take it off for a while it fills with snow then you flip it back on your head that wasn't good no snow on your murals keys y'all ain't coming behind you sorry we just went up and got those guys we just pulled them out from way up there gotcha we'll pull this out all the way back thank you the guard dog is maggie maggie trying to be gentle this is how you make sure things will come out i like to have options you can't probably get a lot of snow up here huh yeah supposed to get 16 inches uh [Music] [Music] jesus how hot do you 80 are you kidding me it was fast 80s on high the only thermals i have on i'm dying in here gee i was hot out there loading it was working i was hot out there i wasn't doing anything so i was freezing yeah i come in here 80 degrees where's that air conditioned seat that's what i need forget this heat so i got thermals on under like all of this all right we got the jeep loaded up all that went really good that was actually a whole lot of fun i don't know if you had fun or not but i it was awesome that guy got a new truck uh recently and now that all the snow's here he wanted to go test it out and find its limits and he was very successful at that i would say his mission was accomplished yeah and the only way you're ever gonna find out how far you can go is to go too far now he knows for sure so that was a lot of fun very cool people he got stuck last night had to get a ride out and then we went back up today got him out uh everything went good no damage on anything everybody happy oh and we got to pull out another lady [Music] on our way out and if you're wondering why that little car was up there up that road uh they live up there so there's quite a few houses along the bottom stretch of that and that road as you can see gets pretty nasty but uh we got her pulled out on the way so that was good i think that was a good day all the way around i'm gonna go home put some shorts on you're probably gonna sit by the fire yep and uh that's gonna be it for this one so we'll see you guys next time
