US Military ALICE Canteen Cooking Kit - Canteen, Canteen Cup & Stove Cooking System

okay so my survival hiking belt is really taking shape and it's just about to be perfected you know I got my my suspenders you know my mag pouches and my canteen and I just added this guy which is the new 200 round saw animal pouch and that's working great but what we're gonna talk about today is this guy this is my entire water and canteen cup and stove cooking system so let me show you about that okay here's what I usually carry on my hiking belt and this is uh this is just your standard u.s. issue allas canteen and canteen holder and I love this Alice stuff because you know you can slip it right on one Alice belt if you don't like it you can move it around you can take it off you can put it on a different belt or whatever but this is this is really really nice and I got these on eBay for I think ten box with the canteen and the clips and one of them actually came with the canteen cup I had the stove because I got the rothko canteen cup and stove but this is this is one of my favorite systems you know it's got the snap closures and it's got the Alice clips of course to go run on your Alice Bell it's got the little pocket that I've got like four of the little the little Coughlin folding stove fuel pellets in but this will also fit a nice little box of matches in there perfectly or you know you could carry some water purification tablets or whatever I just uh I just got a few of those fuel tablets with me to make it a little bit easier so this just done snaps and this baby comes out and when I got it when I got it this this whole kit came with the the clear now GM canteens and I really like to clear now jeans rather than the surplus military stuff because the surplus military stuff are either solid green or solid black you know sometimes they get a little mold growing in them get a little furry in there smells kind of bad the now jeans you can see what's going on you can see how much water you got left you can see if there's any debris in there and these are non EPA canteens you know they're bpa-free they don't smell like anything you know there's there's absolutely no plastic smell what like some of the old surplus ones can get so those are really really cool love those canteens here's a heart of the system see inside there is it goes right in there my canteen cup and stove and this is the rothko canteen cup and stove that that I reviewed some time earlier yes if I could get the stove off you know this that stove just just slides off the bottom you know you just take it down there and build your fire and put the canteen cup on the bottom like that this one has been used a little bit you know not too much it's finally cooling down a little bit in Florida so it's gonna make cooking on the trail light easier here's the heart of the system here's the little aluminum stove and it's got the little little side area to use twigs in and everything else I like using these with handy-dandy beer cans stoves and I power my beer can stoves with just a little 5-hour energy bottle full of denatured alcohol and that's about exactly 2 ounces so you know I got a couple of different sizes of these here's a small one they used with the coffin folding stove here's a bigger one that I can use for some other things you know this one is a great size to go right in there you know you liked it you put that down there light it up put this on there and your cooking you know I like using alcohol because you know if you use a fire with sticks and twigs and coals and everything else a lot you know I can really blacken up your your cups and stuff but here's what I'd been using for a while and I'm gonna be using this for a long time to come and this is gonna be on some videos because it's finally cooling down you know rather than sometimes on the stove sometimes I'll use my handy dandy piece of wire put it on a couple of tent stakes and put this on it but here's my here's my canteen cup and stove rig and you know when you need it to go usually go back together just upside-down that slipped right on there this slips right back in your canteen cover and your canteen nests right in there and this is a great rig and a great system these things these things are bulletproof so if you're looking for a great canteen cup stove cooking system this is it and this sits right on the back of my Al's belt in about the seven seven thirty eight o'clock position and right on my back hip and it's one of the the suspender clips is is right in between it and it supports it fully and you can't even feel this on your belt so you can find these all over a Bay for like 10 bucks so if you want to try one out I would highly recommend it and highly suggest it I carry a little fuel tablets but you know you can put some water purification tablets or you know some matches or whatever in there this is a fully contained system and I've been using this for a while and it works great so once again with a couple of pointers this
