[Music] we gotta tell the truth you can't just start off with you know you gotta you gotta do right we gotta start off with listen i'm sorry i knew your hunt was no good for you my sister was no good for you when she was raising you and my mother was no good my cousin was no good and i you know i apologize for that and i probably should have done more and i know it's causing some of the damage in your life right now but there is a god and he's moving in my heart right now because i love you and i understand that everything that's going on in your life right now is not your fault you watch how god can move you watch how god can move sometimes you just gotta come clean come on church there's a reason why all of our family reunions are dying because this generation doesn't want to be involved with our family that's because there's some stuff in our family that's foul and what we did was just put up with it because we family and what they're saying is i'm not going to do that i'm not going to do it you may have done that you may have subjected me to that but i'm just not going to do that restoration means to repair the damage caused by unright sin and unrighteousness restoration means to heal the brokenhearted god moves because people have broken hearts there are people who are brokenhearted you know i i am i am blessed and i have been blessed and i don't take it for granted uh how blessed i am to be raised in the home that i was raised in and even if you were raised in a good home or a good environment you can have compassion and i don't know when i look at the blessing all the blessings in my life as a result of being raised i don't know i can't imagine how difficult it is for someone who's never been raised to make it and how hurtful that must be to be 25 30 35 years old and all of a sudden come to a realization that nobody raised you that that's got to be a hurtful thing to be a grown adult and then to all of a sudden realize i was not raised and i don't know how to live because nobody raised me and church until we can shed a tear for the unraised adults in our lives we won't get them back in this church until we can appreciate how great a struggle that must be we won't have the proper compassion and we'll be fussing when we should be ministering you know some things we're fussing at grown-ups about is not their fault it's just not their fault you ought to know better how i can't believe you would have done that why you know my situation why is what i'm doing so unbelievable to you think about this congressman who's visited our church over the years and begs for people to take in foster children because there are more children who need a home than have a home those children grow up into somebody they grow up they don't stay children they become adults who are hurting can you imagine the hurt of nobody ever taking a moment to say i'll take you amen this is why god moves for restoration to heal the brokenhearted god moves because he realizes when you get to this level of heartbreak the only relationship that can help you is a relationship with him so god realizes i've got to move because i've got to get my people back to me because the only way these levels of hurt this type of abuse these traumatic experience the only way my child can be healed from this they gotta come all the way to me and god is just looking for some of jesus siblings who have been restored to go out and bring some of his children home to him the only person who can heal these types of hurts church when god moves now i'm ready to give us some points when god moves there's life and light when god moves there's life and light you know for somebody this message is hope as difficult the subjects are there's somebody listening to me right now and for the first time you have hope because this the first time you feel like maybe god has heard me when god moves there's life and there's light whenever it's a move of god you can expect it to be life and light those two things life and light are almost synonymous in the bible you can't have life without light and you can't have light and be and there'll be no life watch this he says in verses uh four three four and five he says all things that were made were made by him and without him was not anything made that was made and in him was life and the life watch this was the light of men and the light shine in darkness and the darkness comprehended it not church when god moves we can expect if you write that once you don't have to keep writing it when god moves we can expect letter a illumination when god moves we can expect illumination you know light makes you aware of a prior darkness you ever been uh in our bathroom we have a light fixture that's a two ball fixture you know it takes two balls to to work but it's got a cover over it so you can't tell that it's a two ball fixture it's just a light and i guess some time ago one of the lights one of the bulbs blue but every time we went in the bathroom and cut on the light we still had light because the other bulb was on but the but the bathroom was dimmer than it used to be but it i guess it had been out a long time because i didn't even realize that the bathroom was dimmer than it used to be you know i just cut on the light do we have to do well the other day i went to cut on the light and the other ball blew so now it's dark so my wife said well actually my wife cut on the light because lights never blow when i cut them on because then i could replace it and not get in trouble they only blow when my wife cuts them on so then she can say the lights out you need to go change the ball and i can get in trouble that's the way it works if you're not married learn this now it will save you on the other side things will only break when your wife uses them so that you can be held responsible man they never break when you use it so that you can fix it and don't ha she doesn't have to know that's not the way it's not the way it works the car always runs when you drive it it breaks down when she drives it so that you can hear that you should have taken the car to the shop that is the way marriage works okay no charge for that back to the message all right let all the wives say and let all the husbands say amen amen i'm like i mean i had just left the bathroom like fine she goes in the lights out you didn't see the light was i it wasn't i'm gonna go change the light sweetie so when i took the fixture down i realized it was a two ball fixture so i was like this is odd both balls blew at the same time i said never mind well let me just go and i put those two but i put two new balls in i turned on the light and i realized i had been in darkness for months it wasn't until there was an illumination that i realized that i had been in i thought i was in light but i was actually in darkness i was in darkness long before that second ball blew but i didn't realize it because you can adjust to things that are dark and that's what happened to every one of us we were living in darkness but we had adjusted our eye to dark living we had adjusted our eye to drama we had adjusted our eye to foolishness we had adjusted our eye to getting hurt we had adjusted our lives to trash we had addressed it adjusted our lives to hangovers we'd adjusted our lives to partying we had adjusted our lives to clubbing we had a job we were we were dim but we didn't realize it but then one day god moved he moved in somebody and they showed up in our lives and they changed the bulbs and all of a sudden we became aware of a prior darkness and we realized i've not been living life i've just been existing i've just been going through i've been just creating drama there's something better in other words we even say it as a uh as an expression all of a sudden the light came on how many of you know that mama or daddy told you you needed the lord long before you need got it somebody had been praying for you for years and weeks and months but all of a sudden one day what happened the light came on when god moves the light comes on we get an illumination and you know watch this it was a bathroom light so once that ball was right i could see who i was clearly come on down you know they got this new thing i travel a lot they got this new thing in hotels where they put good lights in the bathroom now yeah good lights they put back lights behind the mirror you go to a hotel you realize you're a whole different person yeah my wife called them an ugly mirror but in that ugly mirror their true mirror amen the truth is sometimes ugly amen i'ma let that sit with you for a minute the truth is sometimes ugly amen that's why we tend to want to hide from the light that's why we like to take dates by candlelight [Applause] it's like that's why we like to take a date to the movie theater because we can go somewhere where the light doesn't give us the truth amen but when god comes it's the true light and you can see who you are you see the good but you also see the ugly but watch this it's not only illumination of who i am but it's also an illumination of who he is it's what happened to adam and eve when they sinned they had they got an illumination of where they were and of where god was but watch this we can also expect a manifestation there's an illumination there's also a manifestation in other words there's a manifestation of god when he moves you can see all of a sudden the life he promised you know when the light came on for me all it's like all of a sudden i could see the life that god promised me you know before the light came on i saw all the things i thought i would be missing out on by living right but when the light came on come on church and god moved in somebody's life and all of a sudden i could see him clearly what was manifested to me was the life he promised to me and all of a sudden i could see it was better than the life i had but watch this we can expect illumination we can expect manifestation but let us see we can expect preservation in other words when god moves we can expect the preservation of our lives because see now once god moves and his life and light are in me now nothing can separate me from the source of life see that's true preservation nothing can separate me from the source of life now remember god listen remember i am spirit and god lives in me another way of saying this is i live in me and god lives in me because i'm not my body so i live in me and god lives in me and when god life and light comes in me i live in me and he lives in me and now nothing can separate us now watch this we are both now passengers in the same car but the car is not what has put us together the relationship has and so watch this even if i leave the car we leave together so while i'm in here he's with me and when i leave here he's with me and there's never a moment where we'll ever be separated again because i leave and he leaves at the same time so i don't have to worry about death because death is not a separation between me and god death is just me opening up the car door and the two of us getting out together come on church and i just lay this body down so now nothing can separate me from the love of god because we are now traveling together for the rest of my life and the rest of my life is not the useful life of my body it's everlasting life and no matter what i do while i'm journeying in this body he won't get out the car persecution comes he's still in the car tribulation comes he's still in the car infirmities come he's still in the car difficulties come he's still with me folks leave me he didn't leave me i got a passenger who's with me through everything that i go through and when it gets to be too much he says listen we have been on this highway long enough pull over it's time for you and me to go on out of here church i want you to know when god moves there's life and light but also when god moves secondly there's a witness when god moves there's a witness when god moves we can expect that there's a witness look at verse number let's go back to john again watch this it says in verse 6 there was a man sent from god whose name was john well that scripture actually is my life in my life there was a man sent from god whose name was john it's my father watch this the same came into my life for witness to bear witness of delight that all that i through him meaning jesus might be saved now why says john bear witness of jesus that all men might be saved watch this the same came for a witness to bear witness of the light that all men might be saved he was not the light but he was sent to bear witness what of the light and that that light was the true light now watch this every one of us in here who saved there was a person sent from god whose name was every one of us in here who said there was a person sent from god whose name was and god sent them for witness they were not the light but they came to bear witness of the light and the light they bought witness of was the true light that now shines in your heart now if things are going to change in your family there has to be a person sent from god in your family and guess what there are no new family members coming into your family so it has to be somebody who's qualified to be a witness who maybe is hearing this teaching see you can't rejoice that there was a man sent from god whose name was for you and don't be the man sent by god that's hypocritical god i'm so grateful that you saved me he saved you because there was a man or a woman sent from god whose name was and they came to bear witness and if you're grateful for the light that now shines in you you ought to be that person sent from god whose name is who god can send to bear witness listen god is looking for those who can witness his move it's the witness that helps us to know that god is moving see it was isaiah that helped the people know that god was moving it was nehemiah that helped the people know that god was moving it was moses showing up back in egypt that let the people know that god was moving it was jesus walking the earth that let us know that god was moving it was the disciples starting the early church that let us know that god was moving who is it going to be in your family that god can use to get to move to get to be a witness to let you know that god is moving you got to connect this up to bible study and you got to make sure that you're credible you have to make sure you're believable you got to make sure that the spirit of god is working on the inside of you you got to make sure that your testimony is not of you but of who he who sent you and that your testimony is true because false testimony kills a witness i always tell people don't ever tell somebody about something god hadn't done in your life yet and don't worry about the issues in your life where you're not right yet just tell folks what god has done he is cleaning me up but i ain't clean yet he's making me better but i'm not holy right yet what you're seeing me is a work in progress i still got some issues but i know there's a light that's working on the inside of me listen when god moves we can expect letter a we can expect right that once you don't have to write it all the time we can expect a witness who is credible when god moves we can expect a witness who is credible that is they're credible because of the evidence of their life they're credible because of the evidence of their life watch this when god moves we can expect let her be a witness who precedes the move of god we can expect a witness who precedes the move of god in other words that witness prepares the way and the heart of the people and if you put it on an individual level that person prepares the way and the heart of a person church for the last six years i'm just trying to be a witness i'm just doing like john i'm crying loud see here's what you need to understand about the fact let me tell you what i know god is going to restore this generation with you or without you if he has to close us down and start over again with 24 he will see god's not embarrassed by starting over check the old testament there are many times when he said you know i'm done with that generation let me just start over again god has no problem pushing the reset button but i can also see in his word that that's his last option not his first option see god is going to do this work there are people that he wants to be saved and he's not going to let them go to hell he's sending me before to give us an opportunity to participate in the work but if we choose not to participate he will find who he can use and he'll use them listen we can expect letter c a witness who is believed based on their testimony we can expect a witness who is believed based on their testimony see because they're credible they'll be believable church god is looking for us to be a witness to those he loves he wants to move us so that we but we have to be credible and believable if we're not credible and we're not believable god can't use us in the process of restoration listen god moves and you can expect life and light god moves and when he moves there's always a witness but thirdly and lastly when god moves he is glorified when god moves he's glorified i love the fact that he said in his word my glory will i not share with another when god moves he's glorified so when we get back next week we can expect god to be glorified in us when he moves we can expect god to be glorified through us when he moves and we can expect god to be glorified around us when he moves that's how you know it's a true move of god i would love to tell you more
