Ultimate Robbing Screen

hello everybody this is Dan today is Sunday July the 14th 2019 it's about 3:40 p.m. it is 80 degrees Fahrenheit with a heat index of 85 degrees Fahrenheit 70% humidity it's cloudy overcast and it's been raining off and on all day long sorry I couldn't get out here earlier it started sprinkling on me during the first video but this is my be smart robbing screen I've had this on since the spring of 2018 so a little over a year now I haven't had any problems with it it's secured with the thumbtacks that came with it I usually only have one of the flaps open and this is a triple deep and they don't seem to have any problems with it I'm going to open this up so that you can see what it looks like behind there Andy asked me if I had any problems with the bees cleaning or you know cleaning with having to move up instead of straight out and I told them no so the most I expect to see here is propolis so I'm gonna pause this while I pull it off okay actually I don't know that I'm gonna pause it let me get rid of the magnification here alright now the bees are probably going to be a little grumpy because of the weather and plus I'm messing with the Ravi screen tax up there and they can steam through these gloves going after the phone okay see if I can do this without getting stung now this is propyl eyes okay now had a bunch of bees out here earlier this is my second take but as you can see there's only propolis okay you can see the pollen stains right there and I might have forgot that forgotten that I had left my entrance reducer on but I have the big one open you can see how they've been gnawing on it a little bit but I should mention that I have screened bottom boards so I don't have to worry about the ventilation and then on top of my inner covers between my inner covers and my top cover I have nickels on each corner for more ventilation so you know ideally the brizel come up from the bottom and then then out underneath the outer cover so anyway you can see there and there's the propolis put that around a little bit okay when you put down the camera but I'm gonna put this back on without smashing any bees but in case y'all are wondering you know I like these be smart this be smart design there's one this off I'm not using it right now so I have it all closed off and here's my man Lake robbing screen okay I really like it too the thing that I've noticed so is see all these bees right here I often wonder if they're trying to get it go up and get out and I can I get sucking open that there well there's one that wanted out so I can leave that one eye opening there's another one there's another one but I kind of like watching them through the screen and this here I can open that all the way up same with that one there and but uh you know it's a reasonably semi-decent strong hive so but with all my hives here and with all the lost and the dragonflies and the bumblebees I mean I just leave them on year-round just to protect my house and yeah so anyway I hope y'all like this video I hope this helps and y'all have a good day bye
